Beads Out Level 116 Guide: The Buried Key and Sealed Cube Trap
This board is a brutal lesson in inventory management. Beads Out Level 116 throws a massive roadblock at you right in the center. A heavy Crate Lock sits on an olive green Box in the third row, completely paralyzing the middle of the board. Worse, the key to open it is buried on the bottom row, far right, sitting on a red Box.
Surrounding that lock is a nightmare wall of Sealed Cubes. These are not quick clears. They require massive bead investments—100 and 150 beads per cube—just to shatter the ice and move forward. You only have four slots in your lower Dock. If you pull the wrong colors down early, your Dock will jam while you wait for the massive, unbroken blocks of beads on the Conveyor to cycle around. You have to play the right side first. Ignore the left.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 116
Treat this board like a surgical extraction. You have a 5x5 grid of boxes. The top row tempts you with easy targets: Yellow, Light Purple, Dark Blue, Dark Purple, and Light Green.
Do not take the bait on the left.
The left side of the board houses a 100-count Sealed Cube over a light blue Box, and a grey Mystery Box marked with a '2' at the very bottom. Digging down the left side accomplishes absolutely nothing in the early game. The Crate Lock in the center will still be closed. Your board will still be jammed.
Your entire focus must be on the right side. Look at columns four and five. You have Dark Purple and Light Green on top. Beneath them, you face Dark Green, Pink, and a heavy 150-count Sealed Cube. You have to chew through all of this just to reach the red Box holding the key.
The Conveyor layout dictates your timing. The feed comes in from a wide Y-shape. The left track carries a huge train of dark olive green beads, followed by white and light orange. The right track brings light purple, light green, and dark orange. Because these bead clusters are so large, feeding a Box means committing to a long animation sequence. If you dump a 150-count Sealed Cube into your Dock, you are tying up a crucial slot for a long time.
The lower Dock only has four spaces. The puzzle here is sequence. You must pull down right-side boxes, feed them fast, and keep at least one Dock slot empty to catch stray beads that threaten to overfill the Conveyor.
Beads Out Level 116 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact order. Deviating from this path will leave you with a jammed Dock and a locked center column.
First Moves That Set the Route
Your opening moves dictate whether you survive the first minute. You are digging a tunnel straight down column four and column five to get that key.
- Drop the Top Right Boxes: Tap the Dark Purple and Light Green boxes on the top right. Send them to the Dock.
- Match the Initial Flow: Watch the right side of the Conveyor. Send the light green beads into the Light Green Box. Clear it out immediately.
- Pull the Second Layer: With the top right clear, drop the Dark Green and Pink boxes into the Dock. You now have access to the heavy stuff.
- Isolate the 150 Sealed Cube: Tap the 150-count Sealed Cube on the right side. Do not pull down any other Sealed Cubes. You cannot afford to have two heavy ice blocks in your Dock at the same time.
- Feed the Beast: Funnel beads relentlessly into that 150 Sealed Cube. Keep tapping the matching colors as they cycle through the Conveyor. Let the heavy blocks of dark green and light purple pass if you do not have their boxes in the Dock.
Mid-Level Board Control
Once that right-side 150 Sealed Cube shatters, the board state flips. You now have a clear path to the bottom right corner.
- Grab the Key: Tap the red Box at the bottom right. It drops into the Dock. Feed it red beads. The moment the box fills, the blue key will fly up and smash the Crate Lock in the center of the board.
- Clear the Center: The olive green Box in the middle is now free. Drop it into the Dock. The Conveyor should have a massive chunk of dark olive green beads cycling around right now. Feed them in one continuous tap.
- Pivot to the Left: The right side is clear. The center is open. Now you attack the left. Pull down the Yellow and Light Purple boxes from the top left corner.
- Manage the Ice Blocks: Drop the left-side 100 Sealed Cubes (the light blue ones) into the Dock. Feed them carefully. By this point, the Conveyor will be fragmented. You will have smaller groups of blue, white, and pink beads. Send them in short bursts to avoid missing a gap.
- Hold One Slot Open: Keep your fourth Dock slot empty. You will need it to park a box temporarily if the Conveyor gets crowded with a color you cannot immediately clear.
Closing the Last Boxes Fast
The board is mostly empty now. You only have the bottom left corner remaining.
- Crack the Mystery Box: Drop the grey Mystery Box (marked with a 2) into the Dock. It will reveal its required color. Because the board is thin, you should immediately have the beads required to fill it cycling on the Conveyor.
- Clear the Final Pink and Blue: Pull the remaining pink and dark blue boxes from the bottom left.
- Ride the Speed-Up: Once you drop below four Boxes on the board, the Last Four speed-up triggers. The Conveyor moves significantly faster. Do not panic tap. Wait for the exact color match and send the final beads in tight, rapid taps to close out the level.
