Beads Out Level 381 Guide: The Red Curtain and Mystery Feeds

Beads Out Level 381 is a trap. You drop into the board and immediately see a massive red curtain blocking the bottom left corner. It has a gold "7" medal pinned to it. That tells you right away that you cannot touch anything under that curtain until you clear seven full Boxes off the top.

This board forces a strict sequence. You have an hourglass-shaped Conveyor. The main loop is choked with dark green, bright green, blue, pink, and red beads. But the real threat sits on the far left and right vertical entry tracks. Both sides are stacked entirely with black Mystery Boxes. Once the board starts moving, those question-mark beads will flood the main track. If you do not have the right Boxes sitting in your four-slot Dock when those reveal their true colors, you jam. The bottom right features a 2x2 metal plate holding four extra Boxes, complicating the final cleanup.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 381

You need to know exactly where every color sits before you make a single tap. The Dock at the very bottom gives you four empty slots. Fill them poorly, and the run ends in under a minute.

Here is the exact layout of the main grid from top to bottom. Row 1 holds the immediate targets: Purple, Beige, Light Olive, Blue, and Dark Green. Row 2 sits right below them: Light Pink, Magenta, Dark Red, Bright Red, and Yellow. Row 3 introduces the hardware. You face two Crate Locks. The first locks a Light Blue Box to a Dark Blue Box. The second locks a Dark Olive Box to another Dark Blue Box. An Orange Box sits at the far right edge of this row.

Row 4 is where the board gets weird. The left side is completely obscured by the giant red curtain with the "7" requirement. You cannot see what is underneath, so do not plan for it yet. Directly to the right of the curtain, a Brown Box rests directly on top of a Sealed Cube stamped with a "2". To the right of that, sitting on a striped metal plate, you have a 2x2 square of Boxes: Light Olive and Yellow on top, Bright Green and Magenta on the bottom.

Look at the Conveyor. The bottom curve holds a heavy cluster of dark green beads, followed by bright green and blue. The right curve carries red, orange, pink, and beige. The top loop is stuffed with bright green, pink, and blue. The left curve pushes yellow and cyan. The vertical feed lines on the far left and far right are exclusively black Mystery Boxes. As you clear the visible beads, these mystery beads will dump onto the main track. They will reveal gray, white, and black beads. You must anticipate this color shift.

Beads Out Level 381 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Control the Dock. Do not pull down a Box unless the matching beads are already circling the main loop. You have to clear seven Boxes fast to drop that curtain.

Breaking the Top Rows in Beads Out Level 381

We need to harvest the easiest colors first to meet the curtain's quota. Start with the outermost Boxes.

  1. Tap the Dark Green Box in the top right corner. Drop it into the Dock. Hit the massive line of dark green beads riding the bottom left curve of the Conveyor. Send them home.
  2. Pull down the Beige Box from the top row. The lower right curve is holding a solid line of beige beads. Tap them to clear the second Box.
  3. Target the Blue Box sitting in the top row. You have blue beads scattered at the bottom center and top right of the track. Tap both clusters to fill it.
  4. Move to Row 2. Drop the Light Pink Box down. Tap the pink beads riding the upper right and top center sections of the track.
  5. Drop the Bright Red Box from Row 2. A huge line of red beads sits right on the upper right curve. Clear them out.
  6. Pull down the Yellow Box from the far right of Row 2. The left curve of the track is holding all the yellow beads you need.
  7. You need one more clear to hit the quota of seven. Look at the Cyan/Light Blue Box on the left side of Row 3. It is tied to a Crate Lock, but you can still pull it down. Drop it into the Dock. Hit the cyan beads on the lower left curve.

Dropping the Red Curtain in Beads Out Level 381

Once that seventh Box clears the board, the red curtain vanishes. The bottom left area is finally exposed.

  1. Immediately assess what was under the curtain. Pull those Boxes into the Dock only if their matching colors are currently on the track.
  2. Now break the Crate Locks. You pulled the Light Blue Box earlier. Now drop the Dark Blue Box it was locked to. Clear it using the blue beads cycling down from the top.
  3. Drop the Dark Olive Box and the second Dark Blue Box. Clear the dark olive beads from the bottom curve. This shatters the final Crate Lock and opens the middle of the board.
  4. By now, the Mystery Boxes from the vertical feeds are dropping onto the main loop. They will reveal white, black, and gray beads. Look at the remaining Boxes in your grid. Pull down the White, Black, or Gray Boxes immediately to catch these beads before they clog the entire hourglass.

Cracking the Sealed Cube in Beads Out Level 381

You still have to deal with the bottom right corner. The Sealed Cube needs two adjacent clears to break.

  1. Drop the Brown Box sitting directly on top of the Sealed Cube. Clear it. That counts as one hit against the cube. The number drops from "2" to "1".
  2. Look at the 2x2 metal plate. Pull down the Light Olive Box sitting right next to the Sealed Cube. Clear it. This counts as the second hit. The Sealed Cube breaks and vanishes.
  3. Clear the remaining Boxes on the metal plate. Pull down the Bright Green Box and the Magenta Box.
  4. Mopping up the rest is just matching. Keep your eyes on the Mystery Boxes still trickling in. Never let the Dock fill with four random colors. Leave one slot empty at all times as a panic button for unexpected mystery bead reveals. Clear the remaining Purple and Orange Boxes to finish the board.
