Beads Out Level 249 Guide: The Double '3' Blockers and Crate Lock Trap

Beads Out Level 249 is brutal if you do not respect the board order. You start with a massive, continuous wall of green, red, and purple beads clogging the main Conveyor loop.

Look at the bottom pit. You get a standard four-slot Dock. The Boxes are stacked in a nasty staggered grid. Top row: White, Yellow, Purple, Red. Second row: Red, Green, Brown, Light Purple. Then comes the real nightmare. Row three features two Light Blue Boxes stamped with a '3', flanking a Beige Box and another Light Blue Box. Those middle two are clamped together by a Crate Lock. Tucked away in the bottom left corner is a gray block with a '4' on it, sitting right next to a Light Orange Box.

This specific board punishes greedy taps. If you pull up the wrong Boxes early, your Dock fills instantly. The Conveyor jams. You fail. This guide will walk you through the exact clear order to beat this layout.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 249

You need to know exactly what is flowing on the belt before making your first move. The bottom edge of the Conveyor loop is packed with green, orange, and purple beads. The left arc holds blue, green, and a huge chunk of red. The right arc is a mix of green, brown, yellow, and light purple. Notice the feeder arms at the top. The left arm is loaded with dark red and purple. The right arm holds white and blue beads waiting to drop.

The White Box sitting pretty in the top left of the pit is absolute bait. Do not touch it. There are zero white beads on the active main loop. If you pull that White Box into your four-slot Dock, you are playing the rest of the early game with only three slots. That is a death sentence on a board this crowded.

The priority targets are the Yellow and Red Boxes in the top row, and the Green Box sitting just beneath them. You have massive amounts of green and red beads taking up critical real estate on the Conveyor. You must pull the matching Boxes to flush those beads out of the system.

The lower Dock placement is tight. Four slots mean you have zero room for error when dealing with the Crate Lock. That lock ties the Beige and Light Blue Boxes together. You cannot move them until the beads match. Because they sit in the third row, you have to dig through the Red, Green, and Brown Boxes just to reach them.

Beads Out Level 249 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact sequence to clear the board without jamming the belt.

  1. Tap the Yellow Box (top row, second from left) to move it to the Dock.
  2. Tap the Red Box (top row, right side) to pull it up.
  3. Tap the Green Box (second row, second from left).
  4. Feed the immediate chunks of yellow, red, and green beads into these three Boxes.
  5. Tap the Purple Box (top row) once a slot opens in the Dock, and feed it the purple beads from the bottom of the loop.
  6. Pull the second Red Box (second row, left) and fill it using the red beads coming down the left feeder.
  7. Tap the Brown Box (second row) and feed the brown beads from the right side of the belt.
  8. Attack the Light Blue '3' Boxes. Pull one up as soon as blue beads drop from the right feeder.
  9. Break the Crate Lock by pulling the locked Beige/Light Blue pair into the Dock and feeding them.
  10. Clear the bottom gray '4' block by hitting it with adjacent clears, then mop up the remaining Light Orange and White Boxes.

Cracking the Opening Rows in Beads Out Level 249

The opening dictates everything. Grab the Yellow, Red, and Green Boxes immediately. These three colors are choking the Conveyor.

Send the green beads first. There is a massive green chain sitting right at the bottom of the track. Getting it off the board creates a massive buffer gap. Send the yellow beads next. Then blast the red beads from the left arc into the Red Box.

Ignore the White Box. Ignore the Light Purple Box in the second row. They are traps. The white beads are stuck high up in the right feeder arm. They will not drop until you clear the green and brown beads blocking them. If you pull the White or Light Purple Boxes too early, you clog your Dock and fail the level. Focus entirely on flushing the high-volume colors out of the main loop.

Breaking the Crate Lock and Midgame Transition in Beads Out Level 249

Once the Red, Yellow, and Green Boxes leave the board, the midgame opens up. The pit will now expose the Light Blue '3' Boxes and the Crate Lock.

The left lane of the pit is safer to dig through first. Pull the second Red Box into the Dock and finish it off. Now look at the Crate Lock. It holds a Beige and a Light Blue Box hostage. You need to pull this locked pair into the Dock. Be careful. A locked pair takes up two slots instantly. You must have two empty spots in your Dock before you tap them, or they will not move.

Feed the beige beads from the bottom of the loop into the Beige Box. This breaks the Crate Lock.

Now you have to deal with the Light Blue '3' Boxes. The '3' means they are stubborn. They require multiple fills or represent multi-layered drops. Pull one up. The blue beads are finally flowing down from the right feeder arm. Route them in. Keep at least one Dock slot cycling blue beads continuously so you do not get backed up.

Surviving the Gray '4' Blocker and the Finish in Beads Out Level 249

You are almost there. The bottom left corner hides a gray block with a '4'. This blocker counts down. You need to clear the Boxes sitting directly above and beside it to strip away its armor.

Focus heavily on clearing the Light Blue '3' Box on the left side. Once that vanishes, the gray block will activate or shatter, exposing the bottom of the pit.

Now grab the Light Orange Box sitting at the very bottom. Feed it the orange beads that have been circling the belt since the start of the level. Finally, pull up that White Box from the top row. The white beads from the right feeder arm are finally hitting the main loop. Route them in. Keep your taps precise. The belt speeds up when only four Boxes are left. Do not panic tap. Fill the remaining Boxes systematically, and Beads Out Level 249 is done.
