Beads Out Level 201 Guide: The Crate Lock and Bottom Row Key Trap
Red, Dark Green, and White beads choke the main intersection right at the start. This board is designed to stall your left lane immediately. Beads Out Level 201 forces you to ignore half the board while you desperately dig through a specific column to find a key. A massive Crate Lock chain sits dead center, completely freezing a White Box and an Orange Box.
You cannot touch those chained boxes. If you pull the wrong colors into your upper Dock, you will block your only path to the key. The key sits on a Yellow Box buried in the fourth column down at the bottom. Getting there requires precision. One wasted slot in the Dock means a full board jam.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 201
Look straight at the Conveyor exit. A tight cluster of Red beads blocks the drop point. You have zero choices here. Red must go first.
Behind that Red plug, the stream splits. The left lane holds Dark Green, Orange, White, and Yellow beads. The right lane holds White, Dark Green, Purple, and Light Green beads.
The board layout below is a five-column trap.
- Column 1 (Far Left): Red sits on top.
- Column 2: Dark Blue blocks the path downward.
- Column 3: Dark Green sits exposed. A White Box sits lower down, trapped entirely by the chain.
- Column 4: Purple is exposed at the top. Under it sits Pink. Under that is an Orange Box pinned by the Crate Lock. Below the chain is a Light Pink Box, and finally, the Yellow Box holding the gold key.
- Column 5 (Far Right): Grey blocks a Dark Purple Box. Two White boxes sit safe at the bottom.
Here is the brutal logic trap of Beads Out Level 201. Once you clear the initial Dark Green beads on the left lane, Orange beads fall to the front. The only Orange Box on the entire board is chained down by the Crate Lock. The left lane will jam. You cannot clear it. All your early game progress must happen purely on the right lane while the left side sits completely paralyzed.
Beads Out Level 201 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact order. Do not pull random colors into the Dock just because they are exposed at the top.
Clearing the Red Bottleneck in Beads Out Level 201
You need to open the main gate. The red beads block everything.
- Tap the exposed Red Box at the top of column one. It moves up to the Dock.
- Tap the cluster of Red beads at the bottom of the Conveyor loop. Fill the box. It clears the board.
- Tap the top-middle Dark Green Box in column three.
- Feed the Dark Green beads from the left track into the Dock.
- Stop touching the left track. The Orange beads now block the left side. You have no free Orange Box. Leave them alone.
Breaking the Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 201
Now you play exclusively off the right track. The right side has White beads ready to drop. You need a White Box. The only available White boxes are at the very bottom of column five.
- Tap the Grey Box at the top of column five to move it to the Dock.
- Tap the Dark Purple Box right beneath it. Send it to the Dock. Your Dock now has two dead boxes sitting there. This is necessary.
- The White Box at the bottom of column five is now exposed. Tap it.
- Feed the White beads from the right side of the Conveyor. The White Box clears.
- The right track now exposes Dark Green beads. You need another Dark Green Box. Tap the Light Green Box out of the way if needed, or pull from the layers underneath the top row once they shift.
- Shift your focus to column four. You must reach the key. Tap the Purple Box to the Dock.
- Feed the Purple beads from the right track into the Purple Box. It clears.
- Tap the Pink Box beneath it. Send it to the Dock.
- The Orange Box in column four is chained, but the Yellow Box with the key at the bottom is now physically reachable from the side or bottom depending on how your columns cleared. Tap the Yellow Box.
- The moment the Yellow Box hits the Dock, the key turns. The Crate Lock shatters.
Managing the Midgame Half Boxes in Beads Out Level 201
The center is completely open. That paralyzed left lane can finally move. The chained Orange Box is free.
- Tap the newly freed Orange Box in the center.
- Send the stuck Orange beads from the left track into it. The left lane flows again.
- Clear the newly freed White Box from the center using the White beads sliding down the left track.
As you dig into the lower layers of the board, you will hit Half Boxes. These are easily identifiable by the 50% text stamped on their sides. A Half Box requires two separate bead clusters to clear.
Send your Grey Half Box up first. Then pull your Light Green and Pink Half Boxes. Do not load up four Half Boxes at the same time. They eat up Dock space longer than regular boxes because they require twice the conveyor traffic to finish. Keep at least one slot open for a fast-clearing standard box. Feed the Pink beads flowing down the right track into the Pink Half Box to keep the line moving.
Surviving the Last Four in Beads Out Level 201
The board drastically thins out. You will likely have a Brown Box and a few leftover Light Green or Yellow boxes. Once the game registers only four boxes left, the Conveyor speeds up.
Do not panic tap. The accelerated bead speed causes players to accidentally double-tap the wrong color clusters. Watch the U-bend of the track. Anticipate which color hits the drop zone first. If a Light Green bead cluster is riding the outside lane, wait the extra half-second for it to clear the corner before you assign your final boxes to the Dock. Clear the remaining Half Boxes and the board finishes.
