Beads Out Level 494 Guide: The Numbered Ice Wall and Crate Lock

Every board in this game throws a unique trap at you. Beads Out Level 494 hits you with a massive, staggered wall of numbered ice blocks sitting directly below your starting row. The dominant bead colors clogging the starting line are purple, grey, and red. You cannot afford to play random colors. The Conveyor here is a tight figure-eight loop. If you pull down the wrong starting Box, that loop fills up, and the level deadlocks immediately.

The bottom layout is incredibly restricted. A Crate Lock with a '3' counter is wedged hard into the bottom left corner. It holds a crucial Orange Box hostage. This board is not a speed run. It is a strict sequencing puzzle. You have to melt the ice blocks in the exact right order to survive.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 494

Look at the Conveyor. It splits into an upper and lower section. The bottom track is entirely clogged with massive chains of purple, grey, red, and a short strip of white beads. The lower left side is where the traffic jam happens first. High up on the top left and right tracks sit two black Mystery Boxes. Ignore them. They are bait. Touching them too early will instantly ruin your buffer economy.

Your lower Dock sits waiting with four empty slots. Directly above it, the top row offers Purple, Orange, White, Pink, and Red Boxes. These are your only accessible starting moves.

Below that top layer, the grid becomes a minefield. You have a Blue, Yellow, Light Green, and Dark Green Box wedged tightly between heavy numbered ice blocks. Specifically, there are two 100-tier blocks on the second row. Below those sits a brutal barricade consisting of 550, 250, and 450-tier blocks on the third row. A 350-tier block rests even lower down near the center. You cannot touch the buried layers until you clear the adjacent free Boxes to shatter that ice.

The right side of the board looks open, but it is a distraction. The bottom left Crate Lock dictates your midgame route. Every tap you make must work toward dropping that lock counter from 3 to 0.

Beads Out Level 494 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

This solution follows the exact dependency chain required to keep the lower Dock from jamming. Stick to the order.

Opening the Top Row in Beads Out Level 494

You must clear the bottom loop of the Conveyor before the top beads cycle down. Control the flow.

  1. Pull the top left Purple Box down into the Dock. Tap the massive line of purple beads at the bottom left of the Conveyor to fill it instantly.
  2. Grab the top middle White Box. A solid block of white beads sits on the track right next to the purple section. Send them in.
  3. Pull the top right Red Box down. The bottom right track of the Conveyor is packed heavily with red beads. Clear them out right now to create physical breathing room on the track.
  4. Move the top Pink Box into the Dock. You have a cluster of pink beads waiting on the upper right track. Feed them down.
  5. Leave the top Orange Box exactly where it is. You do not have enough orange beads on the visible track right now. Pulling it will steal a Dock slot and kill your buffer economy.

Shattering the Ice Wall in Beads Out Level 494

With the top row out of the way, the middle board opens up. You can now attack the second and third rows.

  1. Drop the Yellow Box into the Dock. Feed it from the right side of the Conveyor.
  2. Pull the Dark Green Box and Light Green Box down next. The top left track holds the green beads you need.
  3. Filling these green and yellow containers cracks the adjacent 100 and 250 numbered ice blocks.
  4. A Grey Box will spawn from under the shattered ice. Pull it into your fourth open Dock slot immediately. The entire bottom left curve of the Conveyor is filled with grey beads. Tap them in.
  5. Breaking the 450 and 550 ice blocks reveals Light Blue and Dark Blue Boxes, plus the buried Orange Boxes. Do not pull them all at once. Keep at least one slot open.

Cracking the Bottom Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 494

The endgame requires strict targeting. The Crate Lock in the bottom left corner still displays a 3. You need adjacent clears to break it open.

  1. Pull the Dark Purple Box from the middle left and the Dark Purple Half Box from the middle right. Merging these clears the space directly above the lock, dropping the counter to 2.
  2. Clear the Tan Box located in the bottom center. Feed it the tan beads cycling from the right side.
  3. Hit the two Pink Boxes in the bottom right corner. Clearing these shifts the bottom board logic and drops the lock counter again.
  4. The Crate Lock breaks. The trapped Orange Box is finally free.
  5. You finally have the Dock space for the top traps. Tap the top left black Mystery Box. It will reveal a random color. Match it quickly with whatever is passing by.
  6. Do the exact same for the top right Mystery Box.
  7. Pull the remaining freed Orange and Blue Boxes into the Dock.
  8. The Last Four speed-up triggers. The Conveyor accelerates. Spam the remaining bead chains to close out the level.
