Beads Out Level 157 Guide: The 3-Clear Curtain Trap

You boot up Beads Out Level 157. Right away, a giant red curtain stares back at you. It dominates the lower half of the screen. It wears a massive gold "3". That is your immediate problem. This is a blocked-center board. You have to clear three completely separate Boxes before you can even see what is hiding in the middle.

This board forces you to play perfectly on the margins. You get a standard four-slot Dock at the bottom. The Conveyor is shaped like a wide circle with two long feed horns at the top left and top right. Right off the bat, the left side of the bottom exit is completely choked by dark Blue beads. The right side holds a clump of Brown beads.

Here is the kicker. Scan the exposed Boxes. You will not find a Brown Box. It does not exist yet. Those Brown beads are pure bait. This is exactly why this specific level ruins streaks. Players panic, tap a Brown bead into the Dock, and permanently lose a slot while waiting for a box that is trapped behind the curtain. We are going to avoid that entirely.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 157

Let’s map the exact layout before you make a single move. You need to know exactly where your safe clears are located.

Look at the very top row of Boxes. You have a clean horizontal line: Yellow, Grey, Purple, Light Pink, and Red. These are totally exposed and ready to drop into the Dock.

Down the left wall, you have an Orange Box sitting directly above a Magenta Box. Down the right wall, you have a White Box sitting above a dark Blue Box.

Below the giant red Crate Lock curtain, there is a recessed bottom pocket. It holds three isolated Boxes: Dark Green on the left, Light Blue in the middle, and another Dark Green on the right. You cannot reach these yet. They are your endgame.

Now look at the Conveyor. The bottom left exit is jammed with dark Blue. Moving up the left vertical wall, you have Grey and Red beads. The top horizontal track holds a solid block of White and Light Pink beads. The right vertical wall has Purple beads sitting behind the useless Brown beads.

Look up at the two top feed horns. The left horn is holding Yellow, Purple, and Black beads. The right horn is holding Dark Green, Grey, and a Black bead stamped with a "?" mark. That "?" is a Mystery Box modifier on a bead. Leave it alone for now. The feed horns cannot drop their beads into the main circular loop until you clear out the traffic jam below.

Your entire goal right now is to find three fast, accessible colors to satisfy the curtain’s "3" requirement without filling your Conveyor or bricking your Dock.

Beads Out Level 157 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You have four Dock slots. We are going to use them aggressively to clear the perimeter and rip that red curtain down. Timing is everything.

Opening Taps and the Curtain Drop in Beads Out Level 157

Do not touch the Brown beads. Let them rotate through the bottom exit and loop back around. We are focusing purely on the colors we can immediately match to exposed Boxes.

  1. Grab the dark Blue Box from the lower right wall. Send it straight into the Dock. Tap the dark Blue beads jamming the left side of the exit. This instantly clears your first box. The curtain counter drops to 2.
  2. Pull the White Box from the middle right wall. The top horizontal stretch of the Conveyor has a clean line of White beads. Tap them. This clears the White Box. The curtain counter drops to 1.
  3. Look at the top row of Boxes. Pull the Grey Box (second from the left) into the Dock.
  4. The left vertical wall of the Conveyor is loaded with Grey beads. Feed them into the Grey Box. This gives you your third and final clear.

The giant red curtain finally drops. The board opens up.

Surviving the Midgame Reveal in Beads Out Level 157

When the curtain vanishes, the true nightmare of this board is revealed. The center stack is chaotic. You will see a messy pile containing Light Blue, Yellow, more Grey, and Purple Boxes.

Because you cleared the White and Grey beads out of the main loop, the top feed horns finally start dumping their payloads. Orange and Dark Green beads enter the main track. Things will speed up here.

  1. Immediately pull the Orange Box from the left wall into the Dock.
  2. Catch the Orange beads that just dumped into the left side of the loop. Clear the Orange Box to keep the track moving.
  3. Grab the top row Red Box. Feed it the Red beads that were sitting behind the Grey ones you cleared earlier.
  4. The right feed horn just dropped a massive line of Dark Green beads. Look at the bottom recessed pocket. Pull the left Dark Green Box into the Dock. Catch those green beads immediately before they reach the bottom exit and cause a jam.
  5. The Brown beads are still looping. Keep ignoring them.
  6. Pull the Yellow Box from the top left corner. Feed it the Yellow beads sliding down the left side.

You must keep the main circular track flowing. If you let the Dark Green and Yellow beads hit the bottom exit at the same time as the looping Brown beads, the game will freeze you out.

Clearing the Bottom Indent in Beads Out Level 157

You are now in the final stretch. The top horns are empty. The center stack is manageable. You just need to sequence the remaining stragglers.

  1. Pull the Magenta Box from the lower left wall. Clear the pink beads moving through the system.
  2. You finally revealed a Brown Box under the center stack. Pull it into the Dock. Catch those annoying Brown beads that have been looping since the start of the level. This clears massive space on the Conveyor.
  3. Pull the Light Blue Box from the center pile. Clear the light blue beads currently exiting the top left horn.
  4. Grab the Purple Box to catch the remaining Purple beads on the right side.
  5. Watch out for the Black "?" bead. Ensure you have an empty Dock slot for the Black Box hiding at the very bottom of the center pile. Pull the Black Box, catch the mystery bead, and clear it.
  6. Mop up the remaining Dark Green Box from the bottom right pocket to finish the board.

Keep your taps tight, ignore the Brown bead bait early on, and you will easily crush this board.
