Beads Out Level 148 Guide: The Key and Lock Dependency Chain

Beads Out Level 148 is a strict logic puzzle. The entire lower board is paralyzed behind a very specific sequence of keys. Mess up the sequence, and you die.

The dominant bead colors choking the track early are purple, pink, light blue, and orange. Look at the bottom Box placement. It forms a jagged five-row grid. The left side is completely exposed. The right side is a nightmare. It is jammed with two zippered bags, a side-facing numbered crate, and three locked boxes.

You cannot play fast and loose here. This board differs from easier levels because the dependency chain is absolute. You must pull boxes in the exact order required to free the keys, or your four-slot Dock will fill with dead boxes waiting for beads that are stuck behind the jam.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 148

Open the level and look at the setup. The Conveyor is shaped like an animal head. The bottom exit feeds straight down into the Dock.

The left side of the Conveyor belt carries a massive block of pink beads followed by yellow. The right side holds a thick strip of brown, orange, and light blue. The bottom exit is currently clogged with purple and light blue beads.

Now look at the main puzzle area. The box placement dictates everything.

  • Row 1: A single Blue Box sits offset to the left. Completely free.
  • Row 2: A Red Box, a Purple Box, a Blue zippered bag, and a Purple crate marked with a "5".
  • Row 3: A Grey Box, a Pink Box, a Brown Box, and a Cream Box.
  • Row 4: An Orange Box holding a red key. Next to it, a Light Blue Box. Then two Green boxes trapped behind a red Crate Lock and a blue Crate Lock.
  • Row 5: A Brown Box holding a blue key. Next to it, a Pink Box holding a green key. Then a Pink Box behind a green Crate Lock, finishing with a Brown zippered bag in the bottom right corner.

The traps are obvious. Do not touch the Purple "5" crate early. It demands five consecutive purple beads to clear. Dropping it into your Dock right now bricks one of your four precious slots. Do not touch the locked Green or Pink boxes. They cannot be played until you break the Crate Lock chain.

Your entire early game revolves around the Orange Box in Row 4, the Brown Box in Row 5, and the Pink Box in Row 5. Pulling these clears the keys, which drops the locks, which finally opens the right side of the board.

Beads Out Level 148 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact pull order. Your Dock only has four slots. Managing space is the only way to survive the first thirty seconds.

First Moves That Set the Route

Your opening taps must clear the top left and trigger the first key.

  1. Tap the top offset Blue Box. Drop it into the Dock.
  2. Tap the Orange Box in Row 4. It holds the red key. Drop it into the Dock.
  3. Feed the Blue Box. There is a cluster of light blue beads right near the bottom exit of the Conveyor.
  4. Feed the Orange Box. The right side of the belt has a long string of orange beads coming down. Tap them.
  5. Watch the red key fly across the board. Clearing the Orange Box instantly breaks the red Crate Lock on the first Green Box in Row 4.
  6. Immediately tap the Brown Box in Row 5. It holds the blue key. Pull it down.
  7. Feed the Brown Box. Use the brown beads coming down the right side of the Conveyor. Clearing it fires the blue key, breaking the blue Crate Lock on the second Green Box.

Do not pull any random boxes during this phase. If you pull the Red or Grey boxes now, you will jam your Dock waiting for bead colors that are stuck at the top of the track.

Mid-Level Board Control

The board opens up significantly now. The first two Crate Lock blockers are gone. You must trigger the final key and manage the zippered bags.

  1. Tap the Pink Box in Row 5. It holds the green key.
  2. Fill the Pink Box immediately. The left side of the Conveyor is packed with a massive wall of pink beads. Send them down.
  3. The green key fires. This breaks the final green Crate Lock on the bottom Pink Box. The entire lock sequence is now defeated.
  4. Tap the Blue zippered bag in Row 2. This requires an extra tap to unzip before it accepts beads. Drop it to the Dock and fill it with the remaining blue beads on the belt.
  5. Pull the Red Box and the Purple Box from Row 2. Feed them. The top of the track has plenty of purple beads circling around.
  6. Keep an eye on the Purple "5" crate on the right side. You can pull this down now, but only if you clearly see five purple beads ready to be tapped. If the belt is starved of purple, leave the crate alone.

By clearing the left and middle columns, you create breathing room. Your Dock should never have more than two unfinished boxes sitting in it at this stage.

Closing the Last Boxes Fast

The final phase in Beads Out Level 148 relies on cleaning up the bottom right corner without panicking when the speed increases.

  1. Tap the bottom right Brown zippered bag. Unzip it. Pull it to the Dock.
  2. Pull the two Green boxes from Row 4. They are finally free of their locks. Feed them the green beads circling the top of the Conveyor.
  3. Pull the Grey Box and the Cream Box from Row 3.
  4. The game enters the Last Four speed-up phase. The Conveyor will start rushing.
  5. Focus your eyes on the bottom exit. Wait for the exact color blocks to align with your final boxes. Tap rapidly to clear the Grey and Cream boxes.
  6. Finish the Purple "5" crate if you saved it for last. Drop the final beads to beat the board.
