Beads Out Level 258 Guide: The Crate Lock and Mystery Bead Trap
Beads Out Level 258 does not play nice. You drop into the stage and instantly face a massive gridlock. The top of the screen features a central O-loop Conveyor flanked by two side branches feeding into the main track. The dominant colors clogging the immediate path are Light Blue, Red, Light Green, and Gray.
Look at the bottom of the play area. That is where the real nightmare lives. You have massive Orange Crate Locks sitting heavily on top of Blue Sealed Cubes. The left side features a towering 11-count Orange Crate Lock burying a 3-count Blue Sealed Cube. The right side sits on a striped hazard zone with twin 7-count Orange Crate Locks crushing two massive Blue Sealed Cubes.
If you just start tapping colors because they match, you will fill your four-slot Dock and fail within thirty seconds. You need a strict order of operations. This board forces you to ignore perfectly good beads on the Conveyor because their corresponding Boxes are trapped behind heavy blockers.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 258
Read the Boxes from top to bottom. The board gives you a top layer of four accessible containers: a Gray Box, a Light Green Box, a Red Box featuring a 0% progress tracker, and another Gray Box. You have to clear these four before you can even touch the middle stack.
The middle stack consists of Light Pink, Tan, Purple, and Dark Red on the second row. Olive Green, Navy Blue, White, and Light Orange make up the third row. Every single one of these must disappear before you can start cracking the Orange Crate Locks.
Now check the Conveyor. The bottom of the O-loop holds Light Blue beads on the left and Red beads on the right. Notice the trap? Light Blue beads are right at the exit point. You have zero access to a Blue Box. The Blue Sealed Cubes are at the very bottom of the board under layers of garbage. If you tap Light Blue beads now, they will rot in your Dock.
The side branches of the Conveyor hold another nasty surprise. You can clearly see black beads marked with question marks. These are Mystery Box beads. They force you into blind plays. When they drop into the Dock, they reveal their true color. If your Dock is already holding dead beads, a bad mystery reveal ends the run.
You must control the O-loop. Let the useless colors spin. Target the exact colors you need to peel back the top layer of Boxes.
Beads Out Level 258 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this sequence. Do not deviate. Your Dock only has four slots. Buffer economy is everything here.
Beating the Initial Red and Green Blockers in Beads Out Level 258
The opening requires precision. You need to crack the top layer of Boxes without pulling junk into your Dock.
- Target the Red beads first. They sit at the bottom right of the O-loop. Tap them into the Red Box with the 0% indicator. Fill it fast to get it off the board entirely.
- Grab the Light Green beads. They flow right out of the top right branch into the main loop. Shove them straight into the Light Green Box.
- Hunt down the Gray beads. You have two Gray Boxes on the outer edges of the top row. Gray beads are stuck in the left branch behind some Peach beads, and more Gray beads hide in the O-loop. Clear enough top junk to route the Gray beads into their Boxes.
- Ignore the Light Blue beads completely. Let them cycle the O-loop. Do not touch them.
- Ignore the Dark Brown, Tan, and Purple beads cycling the loop for now. Their Boxes are not active yet.
Cracking the Crate Locks in Beads Out Level 258
With the Gray, Light Green, and Red top layer gone, the board opens up. Now the game forces you to deal with the side branches.
- Start clearing the second row. Match Light Pink, Tan, Purple, and Dark Red. Pull these colors directly from the O-loop.
- Watch the side branches carefully. As you pull beads, the black Mystery Box beads will drop into the main track.
- Tap the black Mystery Box beads when you have at least two empty slots in your Dock. You need breathing room. When they hit the Dock, they change color. Immediately route that revealed color to its matching Box in the middle rows (Olive Green, Navy Blue, White, or Light Orange).
- Burn through the third row. You must expose the Orange Crate Locks.
- The moment the Orange Crate Locks light up, shift your entire focus to Orange beads. You need 11 hits on the left. You need 14 total hits on the right (two 7-count boxes). Drain every Orange bead off the Conveyor.
Clearing the Sealed Cubes to Finish Beads Out Level 258
You smashed the Orange Crate Locks. The board sits empty except for the bottom layer. The striped hazard zone on the right is fully exposed.
- Look at the Blue Sealed Cubes. The left needs 3 hits. The right side holds massive counts.
- Now you finally tap those Light Blue beads you ignored for the last three minutes. Pull them from the O-loop. Send them straight into the Blue Sealed Cubes.
- The game will trigger the Last Four speed-up. The Conveyor will run faster. Do not panic tap.
- Feed the remaining Light Blue and Purple beads into the final bottom slots.
- Keep your Dock clear of random stragglers. Match the final specific colors required by the last remaining Boxes on the right side striped zone. Clear the board.
