Beads Out Level 189 Guide: The Orange Crate Wall and Ice Trap

Beads Out Level 189 is an absolute gridlock trap. You open the board and immediately see a massive vertical wall of Orange Crate Locks choking the entire left side. Then you look right. Two massive 700-health Sealed Cubes crush the entire bottom-right drop zone. You have barely any room to breathe.

The dominant bead colors crowding the hourglass Conveyor are Red, Light Blue, and Purple. Your bottom Dock starts with four empty slots. This is your only safety net. You cannot waste these slots early. You need to clear the top row of Half Boxes immediately to make space for the real puzzle underneath. Easy levels hand you obvious matches. Beads Out 189 forces you to dig through ice and wood just to reach a single Yellow Box buried at the very bottom left corner. Play the wrong color sequence here and your Conveyor buffer fills instantly.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 189

You need to know exactly what is sitting on the board right now. The Conveyor loops in a wide, flattened hourglass shape. A solid cluster of Red beads sits right at the bottom drop point. Light Blue beads stack up heavily on the lower left curve. Purple beads pack the lower right. High up on the outer rails, black Mystery Boxes wait in the wings. They are a late-game problem. Ignore them for now.

The grid is a five-column mess with uneven depths. Look at the top row. You have five Boxes sitting there with thick silver bands. These are your Half Boxes. From left to right: Brown, Light Green, Dark Blue, Dark Red, and Red. They are fully exposed. When you fill one, it drops into your bottom Dock at 50% capacity, waiting for a second half to merge.

Below them lies the real trap. The far-left column is entirely blocked by Orange Crate Locks. The numbers 7, 9, and 9 stare back at you. You cannot access the boxes underneath until you feed Orange beads into valid targets. The center of the board holds Dark Green, White, and Dark Blue Boxes. The right side features a cluster of Purple and Orange Boxes.

Then there is the bottom right corner. Two Light Blue Sealed Cubes stack vertically. The top one sits over a Light Blue Box. The bottom one freezes a Pink Box.

Way down in the bottom left, completely isolated by an extra cutout in the grid, is a lone Yellow Box. This is the ultimate bait. You might see Yellow beads coming down the left side of the Conveyor and panic. Do not tap them. Tapping Yellow too early fills your Conveyor buffer and kills your run immediately.

Beads Out Level 189 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You have to be methodical. The order of clearing dictates everything on this board. If you dump the wrong beads into the Dock, you lock up.

Clearing the Top Half Boxes in Beads Out Level 189

You must rip off the top layer to expose the blockers in the middle rows.

  1. Tap the Red beads right at the bottom opening of the Conveyor. Send them straight into the top-right Red Box.
  2. Clear the Dark Red Half Box next if the beads line up on the right side. This moves those top-row containers down to the Dock at 50% capacity.
  3. Look at the Dark Blue Box in the top middle. Feed Dark Blue beads from the right side of the track to drop it down.
  4. Fill the Brown Half Box on the top left. Let it drop to the Dock.
  5. You now have a row of 50% Half Boxes occupying your lower slots. The board opens up slightly. The White and Dark Green Boxes in the second row are now accessible.
  6. Do not touch the Yellow beads. Let them ride the Conveyor. They are completely useless until you shatter the left side.
  7. Focus on Purple. A massive chain of Purple beads wraps around the right side of the Conveyor. Feed them into the exposed Purple Boxes on the right side of the grid. This clears out bulk.

Shattering the Sealed Cubes in Beads Out Level 189

The midgame transition is brutal. You have stripped away the easy targets. Now you face the ice and the wood.

  1. Target the Light Blue beads stacking on the left side of the Conveyor. The top Sealed Cube in the bottom right corner demands them.
  2. Tap every Light Blue bead you can safely route. Each match chips away at that 700-health ice block. Once the ice shatters, the Light Blue Box underneath becomes playable.
  3. Fill the Light Blue Box immediately. This clears it off the board and drops the second Sealed Cube down, exposing the Pink Box beneath it.
  4. Shift your attention to the center-right. You have a cluster of Orange Boxes waiting. You need to fill these Orange Boxes to trigger the hits on the Orange Crate Locks clogging the left column.
  5. Feed Orange beads from the Conveyor. Every completed Orange Box damages the crates marked 7, 9, 9, and 4. Watch the wood splinter.
  6. Keep the Conveyor moving. If Dark Green or White beads block your access to Orange, clear them into the center Boxes. You must keep the central path clear for Orange.

Surviving the Mystery Boxes in Beads Out Level 189

The ending gets incredibly tight. Once the Orange Crate Locks break, the entire left side of the board opens up.

  1. The Yellow Box in the bottom-left cutout is finally free. Grab those Yellow beads you have been ignoring the entire level and fill it fast.
  2. The Black Mystery Boxes will now slide down to the bottom drop point of the Conveyor. You cannot control what color they reveal until they open.
  3. Leave empty slots in your lower Dock to handle the random colors dropping from the Mystery Boxes. If you have two free slots, you can catch whatever colors pop out without jamming your buffer.
  4. Mop up the remaining Pink Box under the shattered ice on the right.
  5. Clear the final Half Boxes out of your Dock to trigger the final speed-up phase. Tap fast. Finish the board.
