Beads Out Level 661 Guide: The Double Crate Lock & Half Box Trap
Beads Out Level 661 is a massive headache. The board is choked with red dependency arrows. You face a dense grid of over 30 containers, mixing solid colors with heavily restricted split colors. This is not a fast level. You fail this board if you jam your four-slot Dock by pulling the wrong pieces at the wrong time.
The biggest threats here are the two Crate Locks bolted into the middle of the pack. You cannot clear the center without dealing with them. The Conveyor feeds a rapid stream of pink, olive green, dark blue, and red beads right at the start. You have to route them perfectly while dodging a minefield of Half Boxes.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 661
Look at the main grid. It is six rows deep. The top row gives you immediate access to Light Green, White, Purple, and Red boxes. These look safe. They are actually bait if you ignore your lower board.
Your Dock starts with a single Olive Green Box sitting at 0%. This dictates your first move. You have four Dock slots total, leaving only three open spaces to juggle the incoming bead stream.
The Conveyor forms a massive hourglass shape. At the very top, two black Mystery Boxes wait to ruin your late game. Ignore them for now. Focus on the bottom funnel. Pink, olive green, dark blue, and red beads are stacked and ready to drop.
Row 4 is where runs die. You have two separate Crate Locks right in the middle of the grid.
- The left Crate Lock connects an Orange solid box to a Purple/Red Half Box.
- The right Crate Lock connects an Olive Green solid box to a Green/Tan Half Box.
You cannot pull one without the other. Tapping either box in a locked pair forces both into your Dock. If you only have one open slot, you cannot move them. If you pull them without the exact matching beads on the Conveyor, you brick your run.
Red dependency arrows litter the lower half of the board. Notice the Blue/Grey Half Box on row 6 pointing directly into a Brown box. You cannot touch that Brown box until the split box is filled and cleared. The entire board is wired to force you to clear the outer edges before the center opens.
Beads Out Level 661 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You need a strict order of operations to survive the early bottleneck. Control the Conveyor and do not let the split colors clog your workspace.
Cracking the Right Lock in Beads Out Level 661
Your immediate goal is to clear the initial bead wave and break the right side of row 4.
- Fill the starting Olive Green Box in your Dock. Tap the olive green beads at the bottom of the Conveyor to clear them out.
- Pull the top-right Red box down to catch the incoming red beads.
- Grab the top-left Light Green box. Feed it the light green beads trailing behind the first wave.
- Target the right Crate Lock early. Once the top layers peel back, pull the locked Olive Green box and Green/Tan Half Box into your Dock. You must have two open slots to do this.
- Feed the olive green beads into the solid box. Fill the Green/Tan Half Box using the green beads coming down the right side of the track.
Managing the Arrow Chains in Beads Out Level 661
Breaking that first lock completely changes the board geometry. The right side opens up, but the red dependency arrows now force a circular path.
- Look at the newly exposed middle rows. You will likely have Yellow, Green, and Beige boxes available to pull. Move them into the Dock.
- Watch the Conveyor closely. Light green, orange, and grey beads start dropping fast. Prioritize filling the solid Yellow and Beige boxes to clear Dock space.
- Attack the left Crate Lock. It holds the Orange box and the Purple/Red Half Box. Pull the pair into your Dock.
- Feed the orange beads immediately. Do not pull this lock if you do not see purple and red beads coming down the Conveyor. You will trap yourself.
- Work the arrow chains on the bottom left. The Light Blue box on row 5 blocks an Olive Green box. Clear the Light Blue box first, then immediately pull the Olive Green box to keep the chain moving.
Surviving the Mystery Drop in Beads Out Level 661
The final phase speeds up drastically. You still have those two Mystery Boxes riding the top of the hourglass track.
- Clear the remaining Half Boxes on row 6. The Dark Blue and Blue/Grey Half Box chain must be resolved before the board fully empties.
- Stop pulling new boxes when the board drops to six remaining containers. You need empty Dock space.
- Let the two Mystery Boxes drop into the bottom funnel.
- Pull them into the Dock one at a time. They will instantly reveal their required color. If you pull both at once and they demand colors buried deep on the Conveyor, you lose.
- Feed the revealed colors and clear the final stragglers to finish the board.
