Beads Out Level 517 Guide: The Half Box Bottleneck

Beads Out Level 517 is entirely about managing your Dock space. You get four empty slots at the bottom. The starting grid offers five accessible boxes right off the bat. Pick the wrong one, you jam immediately.

The dominant colors choking the Conveyor are red, white, purple, and green. The board features a central loop fed by two long, heavy outer tracks. The bottom Box placement is a jagged grid. Row one teases you with White, Green, Pink, Orange, and Red. Deep in the bottom left corner sits a stubborn Crate Lock marked with a "3". You cannot afford to play randomly here. This board punishes greedy taps. You have to route specific colors to dig down to the buried Half Boxes before the outer tracks overwhelm the central loop.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 517

Look at the central loop of the Conveyor. Orange beads sit right at the exit chute. Immediately behind them is a massive block of dark blue beads.

Here is the problem. You have an Orange Box available in the top row. You do not have a Dark Blue Box available. It sits buried in row three, trapped beneath a Grey and a Red Box. You must clear space to reach it before those dark blue beads jam the exit.

The left outer arm of the track is stacked with red, white, and orange. The right arm is heavy with green, purple, and light pink. Because the red and white beads take up so much real estate on the left, the top-left White Box looks like a safe early play. It is a trap. If you pull the White Box to the Dock early, you waste a slot. The white beads are too far back on the track to fill it quickly.

You also have to deal with four separate Half Boxes. Row two holds a Light Blue Half Box on the left and a Purple Half Box on the right. Row three hides the second Light Blue Half Box. Row four hides the second Purple Half Box. These pieces are lethal. A Half Box occupies a full slot in your Dock but cannot clear until you find its twin, merge them, and then fill the completed Box. If you pull both the Light Blue and Purple Half Boxes up before finding their matches, your Dock drops to just two usable slots. You will fail the level shortly after.

The bottom-left Crate Lock dictates your late game. You have to clear adjacent boxes to drop its counter from 3 to 0. Ignore it during the opening. Focus strictly on the right and center columns.

Follow this exact pull order. Do not skip ahead. Managing the four-slot Dock is the only way to survive the opening sequence.

The Orange Opener in Beads Out Level 517

Your opening moves dictate the rest of the run. You need to clear the immediate bottleneck at the exit chute while digging toward that buried Dark Blue Box.

  1. Pull the Orange Box (row 1, position 4) down to the Dock.
  2. Tap the front orange beads on the Conveyor to fill and clear it instantly.
  3. Pull the Green Box and the Pink Box from the top row into the Dock.
  4. Tap the green and pink beads currently sitting in the central loop. This clears both boxes and opens up the middle of the grid.
  5. Pull the Red Box (row 1, position 5) to the Dock. Start feeding it red beads from the left side of the central loop.
  6. Leave the top-left White Box exactly where it is. Do not touch it yet.

Merging Half Boxes in Beads Out Level 517

With the Green and Pink boxes out of the way, row two is exposed. You now have access to the first set of Half Boxes. You must handle these carefully to keep your Dock operational.

  1. Pull the Grey Box (row 2, position 2) to the Dock. Fill it using the grey beads moving up the right side of the loop.
  2. With the Grey Box gone, the Dark Blue Box in row three is finally exposed. Pull it to the Dock.
  3. Tap that massive block of dark blue beads sitting at the exit chute. This clears the central bottleneck and lets the outer arms flow freely.
  4. Pull the Light Blue Half Box (row 2, left) into the Dock.
  5. Pull the newly exposed Light Blue Half Box (row 3, right) into the Dock. They will merge into a complete Box.
  6. Fill the merged Light Blue Box with the light blue beads currently feeding from the right arm.
  7. Pull the Purple Half Box (row 2, right) to the Dock, but do not pull any other boxes yet. You must dig down to row four to find its match.
  8. Clear the Olive Green Box (row 3) to uncover the second Purple Half Box (row 4). Pull it down, merge them, and fill it using the purple beads from the right track.

Breaking the Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 517

The board is now open. The central loop flows quickly. Your final obstacle is the Crate Lock sitting in the bottom left corner.

  1. Pull the top-left White Box into the Dock. The left track should now be pushing its large block of white beads into the center. Fill and clear it.
  2. Clear the Yellow Box in row four. This sits directly next to the Crate Lock, dropping its counter to 2.
  3. Clear the second Red Box (row 2) and the bottom Yellow Box. This drops the Crate Lock counter to 0, destroying the blocker.
  4. The left lane is now completely unblocked. Pull the final bottom row boxes: Light Blue, Red, and Green.
  5. Mop up the tail end of the Conveyor. The right track finishes with brown and grey beads. Send up the Brown Box and the remaining outer boxes to clear the level.
