Beads Out Level 701 Guide: The Crate Lock and Paintbrush Trap

Beads Out Level 701 throws a massive roadblock at you right from the start. The board is divided into two distinct problem areas, and picking the wrong one will instantly jam your game. This is not a fast-tapping stage. It is a strict sequence puzzle.

The dominant colors on the Conveyor are red, white, dark blue, green, and pink. Your starting Dock offers four slots. Three are immediately occupied by a Red Box, a Light Orange Box, and a White Box. Below the Dock, the board is a mess. The left side is entirely walled off by a stack of Sealed Cubes. The center lanes are choked by double Crate Locks. The right side hides multiple Paintbrush Boosters. If you ignore the locks and go for the easy colors, your Dock fills up, the Conveyor stops, and you fail.

Reading the Grid in Beads Out Level 701

You need to know exactly where the traps are before you touch the screen. The Conveyor here is shaped like an hourglass. This figure-eight design forces beads into a narrow central bottleneck. If you let the top branches push down too far, the entire track stops moving.

Look at the lower grid. The far-left column contains two light green boxes sitting on top of three Sealed Cubes. These wooden crates are marked with a '2'. They require double the beads to clear. They hold pink, red, and blue beads. This entire column is a trap. Pulling a '2' crate into your Dock early will permanently kill one of your four slots for the entire early game. Leave them alone.

Dead center is the real priority. You will see a White box clamped to a Light Blue box by a silver Crate Lock. Directly beneath that pair is another Crate Lock binding a Yellow box to a Purple box. These locked pairs dictate the pace of Beads Out 701. When you pull one, its partner comes with it. You must have two open slots in your Dock before you touch them.

The right side of the board contains your midgame escape route. Sitting on top of dark red, grey, and white boxes are Paintbrush Boosters. Clearing the boxes above them lets you activate these modifiers to sweep remaining colors.

The bottom loop of the Conveyor is currently crowded with grey/white beads on the left, dark blue in the center, and a mix of white and pink on the right. You have to clear this bottom loop immediately to prevent a full system jam.

Beads Out Level 701 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact order. Space in your Dock is your most valuable resource on this board. Do not pull random colors just because they are available.

Breaking the First Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 701

Your opening moves must clear the starting Boxes to make room for the central locks.

  1. Target the Red Box in your Dock. Tap the string of red beads sitting just above the center bottleneck on the left side of the Conveyor.
  2. Target the White Box next. Pull the cluster of grey/white beads from the bottom left curve of the track.
  3. Grab the remaining white beads from the bottom right curve to finish the White Box. It clears the board.
  4. You now have two empty slots in your lower Dock. Ignore the Light Orange box.
  5. Tap the White box sitting dead center on the grid. Because of the Crate Lock, this will pull both the White and Light Blue Boxes down into your Dock.
  6. Fill this new White box immediately. A fresh string of white beads is coming down the right side of the track.
  7. Fill the Light Blue box using the dark blue beads currently passing through the bottom center of the hourglass loop.
  8. The first Crate Lock is gone. The center lane is now open.

Clearing the Paintbrush Boosters in Beads Out Level 701

With the center clear, you can safely pull the second locked pair without choking your board.

  1. Tap the Yellow box in the middle lane. This pulls the second Crate Lock pair (Yellow and Purple) into the Dock.
  2. Tap the yellow beads coming down the top right branch of the Conveyor.
  3. Fill the Purple box using the purple beads stacked just behind the yellow ones.
  4. Now shift your attention to the right side of the board. Pull down the brown and light yellow boxes in column four.
  5. This exposes the dark red box holding the first Paintbrush Booster. Pull it down and fill it. Triggering this Booster will help thin out the remaining stragglers on the track.
  6. Clear the green and pink boxes on the far right to expose the grey and white Paintbrush Boosters. Pull them down and clear them sequentially.
  7. The right side of the board is now entirely empty. The jam risk has officially shifted away from the central bottleneck.

Cracking the Sealed Cubes in Beads Out Level 701

You are now in the endgame. The only major threat left is the left column.

  1. Pull down the two light green boxes from the top left. Fill them using the green beads stuck on the left side of the Conveyor.
  2. Now you must deal with the Sealed Cubes. You have plenty of Dock space.
  3. Pull the Pink '2' crate down. Feed it pink beads until it breaks.
  4. Pull the Red '2' crate down. Feed it the remaining red beads.
  5. Pull the Blue '2' crate down.
  6. When only four Boxes remain on the grid, Beads Out Level 701 triggers the speed-up mechanic. Keep your eyes on the track.
  7. Tap the final blue and purple beads to fill the remaining boxes and complete the level.
