Beads Out Level 82 Guide: The Cross-Locked Outer Columns

Beads Out Level 82 throws a massive structural trap at you right from the start. You are dealing with a dense grid of stacked containers and a rigid figure-eight Conveyor. The dominant colors on the board are light blue, bright green, orange, and red. But color volume is not your real problem here. The actual obstacle is the bottom arrangement.

Look at the lowest section of the grid. You have a five-row deep stack. The bottom row features two locked containers. This is a cross-lock setup. The key for the left lock is buried on the right side of the board. The key for the right lock is buried on the left side of the board. You cannot just pick a favorite side and clear it straight down. You have to alternate your strikes. If you fail to manage the four slots in your Dock, you will jam the board while waiting for the right color to spawn.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 82

Treat this board like a puzzle with strict dependency chains. If you pull a Box out of order, you ruin the run.

The Conveyor is shaped like a figure-eight loop. The bottom track is entirely congested with a massive block of light blue beads, followed immediately by dark green beads on the left curve. The middle intersection holds thick clusters of red and orange beads. The upper loops carry brown, mint green, and dark blue beads. Because of the figure-eight shape, beads take a long time to travel from the top loops down to the bottom feeding tube.

Below the Dock, the containers sit in a 4x5 grid structure, though the bottom center is cut out. Row 1 (top): Light Blue, Red, Orange, Bright Green. Row 2: Dark Green, Olive, Bright Green, Purple. Row 3: Red, Orange, Dark Green, Pink. Row 4 (The Key Row): Light Blue Box holding a red key on the left. Brown Box holding a light blue key on the right. The center holds Pink and Olive. Row 5 (The Lock Row): Brown Box with a blue Crate Lock on the far left. Light Blue Box with a red Crate Lock on the far right.

This setup dictates your entire route. The outer left column blocks the red key. The outer right column blocks the light blue key. The center columns are essentially filler. You must dig down the left and right edges simultaneously to expose the keys, all while keeping your Dock clear enough to accept the necessary bead colors.

Beads Out Level 82 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact order. Pulling the wrong Box into the Dock early will force a restart.

Breaking the First Layer in Beads Out Level 82

You must destroy the top row to expose the outer columns. Do not touch the center containers until the top row is entirely gone.

  1. Pull the top-left Light Blue Box into the Dock.
  2. Tap the massive chunk of light blue beads sitting on the bottom track of the Conveyor. This cluster is huge. It will fill the container instantly and clear the worst of the early traffic jam.
  3. Pull the top-right Bright Green Box into the Dock. There is a thick line of bright green beads moving down the left side of the figure-eight. Feed them in.
  4. Move the Red and Orange Boxes from the top row into your Dock.
  5. The center intersection of the Conveyor holds red and orange beads. Send the red beads first, then send the orange beads. The top row is now completely gone.

Digging to the Crate Locks in Beads Out Level 82

The board is now open, but the danger increases. You have four empty slots in the Dock. You must focus entirely on the far-left and far-right columns to reach row four. Ignore the Olive and Orange containers sitting in the middle.

  1. Pull the Dark Green Box from the left side of row two. A heavy string of dark green beads is rounding the bottom-left curve of the Conveyor. Send them in to clear it.
  2. Pull the Purple Box from the right side of row two. Wait for the purple beads to rotate down from the upper loop and fill it.
  3. You are now at row three. Pull the Red Box on the left and the Pink Box on the right.
  4. Fill the Red Box using the smaller red clusters rotating through the middle of the Conveyor. Fill the Pink Box as soon as the pink beads reach the drop zone.
  5. Stop and check the board. You have finally reached row four. The outer keys are exposed. Do not pull any center containers.
  6. Pull the Light Blue Box (carrying the red key) into the Dock.
  7. Pull the Brown Box (carrying the blue key) into the Dock.
  8. Fill the Light Blue Box first. Light blue beads spawn frequently on the bottom loop. Filling this container breaks the red Crate Lock on the bottom-right side of the grid.
  9. Fill the Brown Box. Funnel the brown beads from the top-left curve into the Dock. Completing this container snaps the blue Crate Lock on the bottom-left side of the grid.

The Crossed Lock Finish in Beads Out Level 82

Both bottom-corner containers are now free. The rest of the level is a straightforward cleanup, but the speed will increase.

  1. Pull the newly freed Brown Box from the bottom-left corner.
  2. Pull the newly freed Light Blue Box from the bottom-right corner.
  3. Fill them using the remaining chunks on the Conveyor. The track is mostly empty now, so wait for the exact color matches to round the bottom curve.
  4. The board shrinks. You are left with the center columns: Olive, Bright Green, Orange, Dark Green, and Pink.
  5. Move the Olive and Bright Green Boxes up. Fill them.
  6. The Last Four speed-up triggers. The Conveyor accelerates drastically. Keep your eyes on the feed tube. Pull the remaining Orange, Dark Green, and Pink Boxes into the Dock and tap their matching beads the second they pass the center line. Clear the final container to beat the level.
