Beads Out Level 261 Guide: The Giant Red Curtain Lock
Beads Out Level 261 hits you with a massive space restriction right from the start. You get zero room to breathe. The board is defined by a giant red curtain dominating the right side, held shut by a gold Crate Lock with a "3" on it.
You cannot access half the board until that curtain drops. The dominant bead colors looping around the track at the start are red, gray, blue, purple, brown, light green, dark green, and pink. But most of those are traps. The bottom Box placement forces your hand entirely. You only have three active receptacles sitting at the top of the stack: a dark green Box, a light green Box, and a brown Box.
This board is brutal because the Conveyor feeds you the wrong colors first. It tests your patience. Easy levels let you clear whatever comes down the chute. Here, if you tap the first colors you see, you fill your four-slot Dock with dead weight and fail the level before the lock even opens. You have to manage the belt, ignore the bait, and hit the specific targets required to open the right side of the screen.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 261
The Conveyor in Beads Out Level 261 has a distinct "bunny ears" shape at the top. Two extra loops feed into the main circular track. The left ear holds gray and light pink beads. The right ear holds gray and brown beads. The main lower loop is completely packed.
Look at the lower play area. It is a total traffic jam. You have exactly four empty slots in your lower Dock. Above that, the board is split into two halves.
The left side is a vertical stack of waiting receptacles. Underneath your starting row, you have a dark blue Box, a pink Box, a dark purple Box, and an olive green Box. You cannot reach them yet.
The right side is totally dead space. The red Crate Lock covers everything. Below the boxes and the curtain sits a heavy layer of blockers. You will see numbered wooden crates marked 8, 8, 12, and 12 on the left. On the right, crates marked 8 and 10. Splitting them down the middle are two massive ice blocks marked 650 and 750.
The left side of the Conveyor pushes red, gray, and blue beads toward the exit first. This is a trap. None of your three open Boxes need those colors. If you tap them, they sit in your Dock. Your buffer economy dies immediately. You must wait for the right side of the belt to bring the dark green, light green, and brown beads down to the exit chute.
Opening the red curtain is the only thing that matters early on. That gold "3" means you must completely fill and clear three Boxes to break the lock. Conveniently, you have exactly three Boxes available.
Beads Out Level 261 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You need perfect Conveyor control to survive the opening sequence. Follow this exact order to drop the curtain and open the metal plate at the bottom.
Cracking the Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 261
The first ten seconds dictate whether you win or lose. You have to ignore almost everything on the belt.
- Let the red, gray, and blue beads pass the exit. Do not tap them. Keep your hands off the screen.
- Wait for the dark green cluster to slide down from the right side of the track. Tap it. Feed the dark green Box until it is full.
- Grab the light green beads next. Fill the middle light green Box. It clears off the board. The gold "3" on the Crate Lock drops to a "1".
- The brown beads are trailing behind the green. Tap them to fill the brown Box.
- The third Box clears. The lock physically opens. The red curtain disappears, exposing the right side of the board and shifting the entire layout.
Managing the Midgame Transition in Beads Out Level 261
With the curtain gone, the board heavily shifts. The wooden crates and ice blocks drop away, revealing the real midgame layout. The vertical stack opens up.
- Look at your new active row. You now have a purple Box, a blue Box, and a brown Box sitting in the primary slots.
- The left lane is now your safer bet. Pull the purple beads looping around the bottom of the Conveyor.
- Grab the blue beads next. You let them pass earlier. Now is the time to strike. Fill the blue Box.
- A new wave of brown beads will drop from the top right "bunny ear" loop. Route them into the brown Box.
- Once this row clears, the lower Dock arrangement pushes the next row up. You will now face a light green Box, an orange Box, and a teal Box.
- Keep your Dock completely empty between clears. The belt gets heavily fragmented here. You will see scattered yellow, pink, and dark green beads. Do not touch them. Only pull light green, orange, and teal.
Clearing the Metal Plate Finish in Beads Out Level 261
You are now looking at the very bottom of the board. The final receptacles are sitting on a gray metal plate. This is the last hurdle.
- The metal plate holds a tight cluster: a purple Box, a yellow Box, a gray Box, a red Box, and a beige Box.
- Target the purple and yellow Boxes first. They sit slightly higher on the plate.
- The gray beads are finally useful. Pull the long chain of gray from the left upper loop of the Conveyor.
- Feed the red Box. The board hits the Last Four speed-up. The belt accelerates.
- Do not panic tap. Wait for the beige cluster to reach the bottom chute. Tap the beige beads, fill the final Box, and clear the board.
