Beads Out Level 422 Guide: The Half Box Jam and Padlock Trap
You boot up this board and immediately start with a space deficit. Your Dock already has a Light Blue Half Box sitting in the far left slot at 0%. You only have three empty slots to work with. The Conveyor is choked at the exact bottom center with a massive plug of Yellow beads. The bottom reserve is a mess of Half Boxes, two sets of Crate Locks, and a critical Key buried on the right side.
This board is incredibly annoying because you cannot access the side lanes of the track until you clear that bottom center plug. Every move in the opening sequence requires strict Buffer economy. Pull the wrong boxes, and your Dock fills up with incomplete Half Boxes. You jam. You fail.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 422
Look at the massive hourglass shape of the Conveyor. The track feeds from two upper loops down into a single central chute.
The left track holds White, Purple, Light Blue, and Green beads. Behind them is a solid block of black beads marked with a ?. These are Mystery Boxes waiting to reveal their colors. The right track holds Green, Orange, Dark Blue, and Pink beads, followed by grey ? mystery beads.
The bottom Box reserve is split into two deep, staggered pits. You need to know exactly what is buried here.
The top row of the reserve is entirely Half Boxes. The left side has a Purple Half Box and a Red Half Box. The right side has a White Half Box and an Olive Green Half Box.
Below the right-side Half Boxes, you will spot an Orange Box and a Purple Box chained together by a Crate Lock. Sitting directly below that chained pair is a Red Box carrying a Yellow Key. This is your primary target.
The left reserve pit is much deeper and loaded with traps. Below the top Half Boxes, you have a row with a White Box and a Dark Red Box. Below that sits a Light Blue and a Pink Box. Underneath those is your second Crate Lock, chaining a Light Blue and Light Green Box. Finally, at the very bottom left, sits a Green Box trapped by a Yellow Padlock.
Look at the bottom right corner. You will see a grey gate marked with a "4". This is the Last Four trigger. When only four Boxes remain, the board speed increases dramatically.
Notice the Dark Blue beads on the right track. Look at your visible reserve pits. There is no Dark Blue Box visible. Do not panic. Those beads will ride the belt until a dark blue container drops later. Ignore them for now.
Beads Out Level 422 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You must clear the center plug to get the track flowing. Do not touch any of the Half Boxes in the top row yet. They are bait. Pulling them now will fill your remaining three Dock slots, leaving you with zero room to move the colors you actually need.
Breaking the Yellow Blockade in Beads Out Level 422
- Find the standard Yellow Box. It is sitting on the bottom right of the reserve, right next to the Last Four gate. Tap it. Send it to the Dock.
- Tap the thick cluster of Yellow beads plugging the bottom center of the Conveyor. Feed them into the Yellow Box. This clears the throat of the track. Both the left and right lanes can finally move.
- Tap the Light Blue beads coming down the left lane. Feed them into the Light Blue Half Box that started the level in your Dock. It will hit 50% capacity.
- Now you can safely pull the Purple Half Box and the Red Half Box from the top left of the reserve. Send them to the Dock.
- Feed the Purple beads from the left track into the Purple Half Box. Feed the Red/Pink beads from the right track into the Red Half Box.
Cracking the Right-Side Crate Locks in Beads Out Level 422
You need the Yellow Key. The left side is a dead end right now because of the Padlock at the bottom. Shift your entire focus to the right reserve pit.
- Pull the White Half Box and the Olive Green Half Box from the top right reserve.
- Feed the White beads from the left lane into the White box. Feed the Green beads from the right lane into the Olive Green box. Getting these out of the way exposes the chained boxes underneath.
- Check your Dock. You must have two completely empty slots right now. If you do not, clear whatever is sitting there.
- Tap the chained Orange and Purple Crate Lock boxes. They pull up to the Dock together.
- Feed the Orange beads rolling down the right track. Feed the Purple beads rolling down the left track. The Crate Lock shatters. Both boxes clear out.
Securing the Key and Finishing in Beads Out Level 422
You finally reached the bottom of the right pit. The target is exposed.
- Pull the Red Box carrying the Yellow Key up to the Dock.
- Feed it the required red beads. The exact second this box fills and leaves the board, the Key flies across the screen. It hits the bottom left corner and breaks the Yellow Padlock on the Green Box.
- Shift back to the left reserve pit. Pull the standard White, Dark Red, Light Blue, and Pink boxes sequentially as their matching beads become available on the Conveyor.
- Bring up the second Crate Lock pair. The Light Blue and Light Green boxes will jump to the Dock. Match them with the active beads on the belt to break this final chain.
- Watch the top of the hourglass track. The black and grey
?mystery beads will start dropping into the lower lanes. They will reveal their true colors immediately. Keep at least one Dock slot completely empty to catch whatever random color spawns from these Mystery Boxes. - Pull the unlocked Green Box from the bottom left.
- The Last Four gate on the bottom right will activate. The Conveyor will speed up instantly. Keep your taps precise. Missed taps here will cause the remaining beads to loop past the center chute and stack up. Rapid-fire the last remaining colors into the final four boxes to clear the board.
