Beads Out Level 85 Guide: The Crate Lock Choke Point

This board is a massive trap. Beads Out Level 85 forces you into a brutal bottleneck right from the start. Look at the layout. You have a central ring completely stuffed with beads, fed by two massive side arms. Those arms cannot move until you hollow out the center.

The dominant colors causing immediate problems are Dark Blue, Orange, and White. Down in the bottom waiting area, you face four dense rows of Boxes. The real nightmare sits in the third row. Two Crate Locks stamped with a '2' counter block the left and right sides. You cannot touch the final bottom row until you break those locks.

Easy levels give you breathing room. This board gives you none. You have a four-slot Dock. If you pull the wrong Box early, you eat up a slot for the next thirty moves. You lose. We need a strict, disciplined clearing order to get those side arms flowing into the center.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 85

You have to understand the physics of this specific track before you tap anything.

The track is an O-ring with two U-shaped feeder arms. The central ring is gridlocked. Sitting directly at the bottom exit gate is a cluster of Dark Blue beads. Flanking them are Orange beads on the left and White beads on the right. The top of the ring holds Yellow and Purple beads.

The side arms are loaded but completely stuck. The left arm holds Grey, Brown, Light Blue, and Red beads. The right arm holds Dark Blue, Olive Green, Peach, and Green beads. None of these can advance until the O-ring clears.

Now look at your Boxes. Row 1 contains Light Pink, Grey, Orange, and Dark Red. Row 2 contains Dark Green, White, Olive Green, and Dark Blue. Row 3 features a Crate Lock on the far left, a Red Box, a Yellow Box, and another Crate Lock on the far right. Row 4 hides Dark Blue, Magenta, Purple, and Light Blue.

The Light Pink and Grey Boxes in the top row are straight-up bait. Do not touch them. There are absolutely no Light Pink beads on the board right now. The Grey beads are trapped way at the top of the left arm. If you send either of those to the Dock, you cripple your Conveyor capacity. The entire puzzle revolves around digging out the Dark Blue Box in Row 2 so you can open the center exit gate.

Beads Out Level 85 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this sequence exactly. The dependency chain here is completely unforgiving. You must clear the bottom of the ring, route the side arms, and tick down those locks.

Breaking the Ring Exit in Beads Out Level 85

The opening taps dictate whether you win or lose. The Dark Blue beads block the only exit. You need a Dark Blue Box, but it sits under the Dark Red one.

  1. Tap the Dark Red Box (Row 1, far right). Send it up to the Dock. You cannot fill it yet, but it gets out of the way.
  2. Tap the Dark Blue Box (Row 2, far right) to send it to the Dock.
  3. Feed the Dark Blue beads from the bottom of the central ring into the Box. The gate is now open.
  4. The exit splits. You expose Orange beads on the left and White beads on the right.
  5. Tap the Orange Box (Row 1) and send it to the Dock. Feed it the Orange beads from the left side of the ring.
  6. Tap the White Box (Row 2) and send it to the Dock. Feed it the White beads from the right side of the ring.

The bottom half of the O-ring is now empty. This triggers the first major shift. The Red beads from the left arm and the Green beads from the right arm will immediately slide down into the central ring.

Managing the Feeder Arms in Beads Out Level 85

With the bottom of the ring clear, you have active movement. The top of the ring still holds Yellow and Purple beads. The side arms are starting to bleed into the center. Your Dock currently holds that Dark Red Box we moved in step one. It is time to clear it.

  1. The Red beads have slid down from the left arm into the ring. Tap them to fill and clear the Dark Red Box sitting in your Dock.
  2. Look at the right side of the board. Green beads have pushed down. You need a Green Box.
  3. Tap the Dark Green Box (Row 2, far left) into the Dock. Feed the Green beads into it.
  4. Clearing the Dark Green Box takes a tick off the left Crate Lock. The number drops from '2' to '1'. This is how you break the armor.
  5. The top of the central ring still has Yellow beads. Tap the Yellow Box (Row 3) into the Dock. Feed it the Yellow beads.
  6. Clearing the Yellow Box takes a tick off the right Crate Lock.

Your Dock should be mostly clear now. You have hollowed out the entire central ring. The side arms are dropping their upper contents into the main track.

Cracking the Crate Locks in Beads Out Level 85

The midgame transition is over. The remaining beads on the track are Peach, Purple, Grey, Brown, Light Blue, Olive Green, and another set of Dark Blue. You must finish ticking down the Crate Locks so you can reach the bottom row.

  1. Tap the Red Box (Row 3). This exposes the bottom layer. Clearing it will strip another number off the left Crate Lock.
  2. Tap the Olive Green Box (Row 2). Feed the Olive Green beads from the right arm. Clearing this strips the final armor from the right Crate Lock.
  3. The Crate Locks shatter. The board is fully open.
  4. You now have access to Row 4: Dark Blue, Magenta, Purple, and Light Blue.
  5. Tap the Purple Box to catch the Purple beads that have been stuck at the top of the ring since the game started.
  6. Tap the Grey Box (Row 1) that you ignored at the beginning. The Grey beads have finally reached the bottom of the left arm. Feed them in.
  7. Tap the Peach Box (if visible or merged) to clear the remaining right arm.
  8. Send up the Light Blue Box (Row 4) to catch the Light Blue beads from the left arm.
  9. Mop up the remaining Brown and Dark Blue beads using the final Boxes in the waiting area.

Keep your taps methodical during the Last Four speed-up. The track will rush, but your Boxes are fully exposed. Route the remaining colors directly. You win.
