Beads Out Level 204 Guide: The Yellow Key and Chain Trap

This board is a masterclass in baiting you into a jam. Beads Out Level 204 throws a lot of garbage at you right out of the gate. Look at the colors. You have heavy concentrations of Dark Purple, Light Green, and Pink. You only have a 4-slot lower Dock.

Your biggest problem sits directly in the second row. A Yellow Box holds a blue key. That key is your only way past the heavy chain and padlock strangling the Light Pink Box in the bottom right corner. You cannot ignore it. You also cannot just spam taps to get to it. The top row is packed with Boxes you have to clear first, and the Conveyor is feeding a very specific split of colors. Pull the wrong Box to the Dock early, and you will choke the board. This specific layout punishes impatient players. Do not touch that top-left Olive Green Box. It is a trap.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 204

You need to understand the physical layout before you start tapping. The board is dense. The Conveyor splits into two distinct paths feeding into a single central drop point.

On the left side of the Conveyor, you have Light Green leading the pack, followed by Light Pink, Dark Purple, and Green. On the right side, you have Dark Purple dropping first, stacked in front of Pink, Green, Blue, and Light Pink.

Now look at your Boxes. The top row features Olive Green, Light Green, White, Light Purple, and Dark Purple. That Olive Green Box is absolute poison right now. There are zero Olive Green beads anywhere near the front of your Conveyor. If you drop it into your 4-slot Dock, it will sit there taking up 25% of your total playable space for half the level. Leave it alone.

Your actual target is the second row. From left to right, you have Pink, the Yellow Box with the key, Green, Dark Green, and Light Green.

Further down, the board gets ugly. You have two Sealed Cubes stamped with a '4'. One covers a Pink Box in the bottom left. The other covers a White Box on the right side. You have to feed these cubes four matching beads just to break the shell before you can even start filling the actual Box inside.

On the left, in the fourth row, a U-shaped Crate Lock pins a Light Green Box to a Red Box. You must clear the Light Green one to snap that lock. Dead center, blocking the bottom row, sits a dark grey Mystery Box. And finally, the bottom right holds a Light Pink Box trapped completely behind a blue padlock and steel chain.

Beads Out Level 204 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Control your Dock. You only have four slots. The entire strategy for this board relies on rotating Boxes quickly so you can drag that Yellow Box down.

  1. Tap the Dark Purple Box (top right) and drop it into the Dock.
  2. Tap the Light Green Box (top left, next to Olive) and bring it down.
  3. Feed the Dark Purple beads from the right side of the Conveyor. Keep tapping until the Dark Purple Box fills and clears the board.
  4. Feed the Light Green beads from the left side of the Conveyor. This clears the Light Green Box.
  5. Bring down the White Box from the top middle.
  6. You now have a clear path to the Yellow Box. Tap it. Drop it into the Dock.
  7. Feed the Yellow beads. Once the Yellow Box clears, the blue key will fly across the board and smash the padlock. The chain drops.
  8. Bring down the Light Purple Box (top row) and the Pink Box (second row, left).
  9. Feed the remaining Dark Purple and Pink beads at the front of the Conveyor to clear them out.
  10. Target the right-side Sealed Cube (the White one with the '4'). Feed it four White beads to break the crust, then fill it.

The Opener sequence in Beads Out Level 204

The start of this board dictates your entire run. Dark Purple and Light Green are queued up right at the lip of the Conveyor funnel. You have to use them. Dropping the top-right Dark Purple Box and the top-row Light Green Box gives you an immediate outlet for the initial bead pressure.

Ignore the Olive Green Box completely. It is dead weight. Your entire focus is digging straight down the middle-left to expose the Yellow Box. The White Box sits right above the Green Box and next to the Yellow one. Getting the White Box out of the way is your primary short-term goal. Once White is in the Dock, Yellow is free to move. Do not clog your Dock with the Dark Green or Light Purple Boxes yet. Keep a slot open for Yellow. The moment Yellow hits the Dock, prioritize feeding it. Breaking that chain is mandatory.

Breaking the Sealed Cubes in Beads Out Level 204

Once the key does its job, the board opens up, but you are not safe. The chain is gone, but the bottom right Light Pink Box is still buried. You have to deal with the Sealed Cubes and the Crate Lock.

The right side of the board is blocked by that White Sealed Cube. Drag it to the Dock as soon as you have space. It demands four White beads. Feed it immediately. Once the shell breaks, it functions like a normal White Box. Clearing it opens up the right side heavily.

Next, look at the left side. You have a Light Green Box tied to a Red Box with a U-shaped Crate Lock. You cannot move the Red Box until the Light Green one is gone. Bring the Light Green Box down. Your Conveyor should be pushing a massive wave of Green and Blue beads at this point. Route the Green beads into the Green Boxes you pulled from the second row, and clear that Light Green locked Box to snap the iron bar.

Managing the Final Drop in Beads Out Level 204

The end of the level revolves around the dark grey Mystery Box and the bottom-left Pink Sealed Cube. The Mystery Box sits right above a Dark Blue Box. You have to clear the Mystery Box to access it.

Pull the Mystery Box into your Dock. Watch the Conveyor closely to see what color it demands. Feed it fast. Once it clears, drag down the Dark Blue Box.

Simultaneously, you need to crack the final Sealed Cube. Pull the Pink '4' cube down. Feed it the Pink beads rolling down the right side of the Conveyor. Smash the shell, fill the Pink Box, and trigger the final clear. By this point, the game enters the Last Four speed-up. Keep your taps precise. Clear the remaining Red and Light Pink Boxes from the bottom corners to finish the board.
