Beads Out Level 40 Guide: The Hourglass Bottleneck

Let us break down Beads Out Level 40. This board forms a massive, double-layered hourglass shape. It looks incredibly intimidating. Two massive outer tracks pinch in the middle, wrap around two separate inner loops, and funnel into a single bottom exit gate. The dominant colors crowding the outer edges are White, Cyan, Red, and Green. But the real problem is not the sheer volume of beads. The problem is the bottom exit row.

The entire exit lane is totally gridlocked by a horizontal strip of Peach, Olive Green, Light Blue, and Magenta beads. Everything is stuck behind this wall. Look at your starting Boxes. You get Purple, Magenta, Dark Green, and Olive Green. This starting lineup is a mixed bag. Two of these colors perfectly match the exit row blockers. The other two are trapped much higher up the Conveyor. If you mismanage your four-slot holding buffer right here, you lose instantly. Beads Out Level 40 demands strict discipline at the bottom gate. You have to open the choke point before the vertical columns crush your momentum.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 40

Open the level and look straight at the bottom exit. That horizontal stretch is the single failure point for the entire puzzle. On the right side of the exit gate sits a stack of Magenta beads. Next to them is Light Blue. On the left side sits Olive Green, followed by a cluster of Peach. Behind this horizontal roadblock, the massive left and right outer loops stretch all the way up to the top of the screen.

Read the left outer track carefully. Starting from the top, you see a long string of Red beads. Below that sits a massive block of White beads. Next comes Purple, then Cyan, finishing with Dark Green near the bottom pinch point. Now look at the right outer track. It starts with White at the top, followed by Green, a short slice of Red, a block of Orange, more White, Cyan, and finally Magenta at the bottom gate.

Notice the inner loops inside the hourglass? Ignore them entirely. The left inner loop traps Orange, Pink, and Cyan beads. The right inner loop traps Light Purple, Green, Blue, and White beads. These inner sections are completely cut off from the main exit. You cannot touch them until you clear the outer lanes. They are visual noise. Do not let them distract you.

Check your bottom Dock. Beneath the active row, you have queued Boxes waiting to pop up: Red, Green, White, and a Greyish-White. This tells you exactly what the midgame requires. You must clear the starting Purple, Magenta, Dark Green, and Olive Green Boxes using only the outer loops. There is a four-slot empty holding area above your active Boxes. That buffer fills insanely fast on this board. If you tap that Peach or Light Blue cluster at the exit just to see things move, you instantly waste half your safety net. This board punishes random tapping. Read the traffic flow. Clear the gate first.

Beads Out Level 40 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Here is the exact path to beat this board. Follow the color order strictly. Keep your buffer clear.

Cracking the Bottom Gate in Beads Out Level 40

The opening moves are all about clearing the horizontal exit lane. You must open the gate so the heavy vertical columns can drop down the Conveyor.

  1. Tap the Magenta cluster on the bottom right of the horizontal exit lane. This immediately feeds your active Magenta Box.
  2. Tap the Olive Green cluster on the bottom left. This shoots right into the active Olive Green Box. You just opened up the extreme edges of the bottom row.
  3. Look at the Light Blue cluster trapped in the middle. You have no Light Blue Box right now. Send the Light Blue cluster into the holding buffer anyway. Take the hit. You need it out of the way to restore the Conveyor flow.
  4. Send the Peach cluster into the buffer next. Your buffer now has two slots filled. Do not panic. The exit gate is now completely unobstructed.
  5. Look at the left outer lane. The massive stack of beads will drop down. Tap the Dark Green beads at the bottom of that column to fill your active Dark Green Box.
  6. Watch the right lane slide down. Tap the Cyan stack that drops into the exit zone. You do not have a Cyan Box yet. Put it in the buffer. You are now using three buffer slots. This is dangerous, but necessary.
  7. Grab the Purple beads halfway up the left column. Send them down to finish the active Purple Box. Your starting line is now cleared out, and the lower Dock will push fresh targets onto the board.

Draining the Outer Loops in Beads Out Level 40

Once the first wave clears, the board shifts entirely. Your queued Red, Green, and White Boxes slide up from the Dock. The strategy changes right here. You must strip the outer hourglass lanes completely bare before touching the center.

  1. Tap the White beads sitting at the bottom of the right column. They will rush into the new White Box.
  2. Pull the Red beads from the top of the left lane as they drop down. Fill the active Red Box immediately.
  3. Pull the Green beads from the right lane. Finish that Green Box.
  4. Watch the board shift. The left and right lanes will start sliding down rapidly. You will expose more White, Cyan, and Orange beads on the right side.
  5. Keep feeding the active Boxes strictly from the outer tracks. Clear the huge block of White beads from the left track next.
  6. If a wrong color blocks your path, check your holding buffer. You only have one empty slot left. Use it only for an absolute emergency block. Never fill the fourth slot unless a matching Box is already queued in the Dock.
  7. Keep clearing until the entire right outer lane is totally empty. The grey track will show. This is exactly what you want.

Finishing the Inner Core in Beads Out Level 40

Halfway through Beads Out Level 40, your active Boxes will transition. You will see a Brown Box, a Green Box, an empty gap, and a Purple Box. The bottom Dock will queue up more Red and Olive Boxes. When you see this state, shift your attention to the inner loops. The endgame happens entirely inside the center of the hourglass.

  1. Focus on the exposed inner tracks. The right inner loop has Light Purple, Green, Blue, and White beads ready to drop. Route the Green beads into the matching Box right away.
  2. Move to the left inner loop. The Pink and Orange beads will start rushing the exit point. Match them quickly as the corresponding Boxes pop up.
  3. The inner tracks drop into the main exit at different angles. Do not cross-contaminate. Tap the left side, then the right side. Keep the traffic flow steady.
  4. When you hit the Last Four Boxes, the game speed increases. You will see heavy concentrations of Brown beads appear. Tap the final clusters of Brown from the inner track to clear the board entirely. Keep your rhythm, trust the lane order, and the level finishes easily.
