Beads Out Level 480 Guide: Crate Locks and the Hazard Column

Beads Out Level 480 limits your space immediately. You have a massive stack of boxes but only four slots in the lower Dock. One bad pull ends the run.

Look at the main puzzle. The entire left column sits on yellow and black hazard stripes. You cannot move these boxes early. The right wall is blocked by two orange Sealed Cubes, each requiring five bead impacts to break. Dead center, two pairs of Crate Locks block the vertical drop. You have to carve a path through the middle.

The Conveyor shape is an hourglass. Two top feeds dump beads into the main loops. Top left pushes heavy purple, brown, and pink chains. Top right feeds dark blue and pink. The central loop holds tight clusters of tan, orange, dark green, and grey. You must match your Box pulls to exactly what the hourglass feeds you.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 480

You need to know exactly where the traps are before you tap a single box. The board is split into three distinct problems.

First, your active top row. You can immediately access the Brown, Olive Green, Teal, Purple, and Grey Boxes. The Brown and Purple Boxes are your safest initial targets. The Conveyor feeds these colors early.

Second, the central Crate Locks. Directly beneath the top row, a Light Yellow Box is chained to a Light Blue Box. Below that, a Dark Green Box is chained to an Orange Box. You pull one, both drop into the Dock. Since you only have four slots, dropping a Crate Lock takes up exactly half your available space. If the Conveyor is not ready to clear at least one of those colors, your board jams.

Third, the hazard column. The left side holds a solid wall of restricted boxes: Tan, Orange, Pink, and Light Blue. They are locked down. You have to clear the right side and center completely before this column becomes playable.

The orange Sealed Cubes on the right side are massive blockers. Marked with a "5", they absorb orange beads. The orange cluster on the lower right of the Conveyor is your only early weapon against them. Do not ignore them. They trap the lower right quadrant.

Beads Out Level 480 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You must control the Dock economy. Keep two slots open at all times. Never pull a Box unless you see a massive cluster of its matching color rounding the Conveyor curve.

Breaking the Top Line in Beads Out Level 480

The start of Beads Out Level 480 requires speed. Clear the top layer to expose the central locks.

  1. Tap the Brown Box. A massive cluster of brown beads sits on the lower left of the inner Conveyor loop. Route it in.
  2. Tap the Purple Box. The top left feed dumps a heavy purple chain directly into the track. Clear this immediately to keep the upper feed moving.
  3. Pull the Grey Box on the far right. The right inner loop holds a long grey snake of beads.
  4. Leave the Olive Green and Teal Boxes alone for now. They are bait. The Conveyor does not prioritize these colors early. Pulling them will clog your Dock.
  5. With the Brown and Purple Boxes gone, you expose the Red Box in the second row. Pull it. A red cluster circles the bottom right of the track.

Cracking the Locks in Beads Out Level 480

The midgame is entirely about the Crate Locks. You must time these pulls perfectly.

  1. Drop the first Crate Lock. This moves the Light Yellow and Light Blue Boxes into the Dock simultaneously.
  2. Wait for the light yellow cluster on the left curve of the Conveyor. Send it into the Light Yellow Box. This frees up a slot.
  3. The top right vertical feed brings light blue beads. Route them into the Light Blue Box to completely clear the first lock.
  4. Look at the right wall. You must deal with the orange Sealed Cubes. An orange bead cluster sits at the bottom center of the track. Route these orange beads directly into the cubes to drop their counters.
  5. Drop the second Crate Lock. The Dark Green and Orange Boxes fall into the Dock.
  6. The dark green bead cluster is dead center on the lower straightaway. Feed it into the Dark Green Box.
  7. The top left feed drops orange beads into the loop. Clear the Orange Box. The center of the board is now wide open.

Clearing the Hazard Strip in Beads Out Level 480

With the middle and right sides destroyed, Beads Out Level 480 forces you to clean up the restricted left column.

  1. The hazard stripes are now exposed. You can start pulling from the left wall.
  2. Grab the Tan Box from the top of the hazard column. A tan cluster circles the middle loop.
  3. Drop the Pink Boxes. The top left feed continuously provides pink chains. Fill them fast.
  4. Pull the Dark Blue Box from the center right. The top right vertical track drops dark blue beads constantly.
  5. Clear the bottom row. The Light Pink and Red Boxes sit on the lowest hazard stripes. Pull them into the Dock.
  6. Finish the board by dropping the final White and Teal Boxes.

Keep your eyes on the vertical feeds during this final phase. The main inner loop empties out, meaning all your remaining colors drop from the top left and top right entry points. Time your final taps so the Conveyor does not back up into the entry chutes. Maintain your Dock space, hit the chains as they drop, and the board clears.
