Beads Out Level 397 Guide: The Center Loop Jam and the Red Curtain

Beads Out Level 397 is a trap. The board looks simple at first glance, but the center loop is actually a ticking time bomb. You have two heavy top tracks feeding into a circular Conveyor. If you start blindly tapping the top tracks, the center loop fills up, the beads stop moving, and you fail instantly. You also have to deal with a massive Red Curtain blocker and a nasty Crate Lock buried at the very bottom.

This level demands strict flow control. You have to leave certain beads spinning uselessly in the center loop for minutes while you dig through the top layers of the board. Play greedy, and you lose. Play patient, and you clear it.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 397

Look at the layout right now. The top Conveyor features two U-shaped tracks. The left track holds Light Green, Light Pink, and Brown beads. The right track holds Light Orange, Magenta, Light Green, and bright Pink beads. They both feed down into a central holding loop.

That central loop is already packed. It contains Purple, Dark Olive, Pale Green, Yellow, Light Blue, Dark Blue, and Pink beads. They rotate continuously.

Below the loop is your Dock. It has four slots, and a Purple Box starts out sitting in the far-left slot.

The real nightmare is the Box arrangement below the Dock:

  • Row 1: Magenta, Light Orange, Yellow.
  • Row 2: A pink/white Multicolor Crate (marked with arrows), Dark Olive, Light Blue, Pale Green.
  • Row 3: Light Pink, a giant Red Curtain blocker with a "5" on it, and a green/white Multicolor Crate.
  • Row 4: Orange and Brown Boxes pushed to the sides by the curtain.
  • Bottom Row: A Green box and a Dark Blue box bound together by a heavy Crate Lock.

The board identity here is defined by that Red Curtain and the Crate Lock. The "5" on the curtain means you must fully clear five Boxes from the Dock before the middle of the board opens up. Meanwhile, those Dark Blue beads spinning in the center loop are dead weight. You cannot collect them until you reach the bottom row to access the Dark Blue locked Box. They will hog space on your Conveyor for the entire early game. Plan around this exact setup.

Beads Out Level 397 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Your success depends entirely on ignoring the top tracks at the start. You must bleed the center loop dry before you introduce new beads into the system.

The Center Loop Trap in Beads Out Level 397

The opening taps dictate whether you win or lose. Do not touch the top left or top right tracks. Your only focus is the center loop.

  1. Watch the rotation. Wait for the Purple beads to cross the bottom exit chute of the loop. Tap them immediately to fill the Purple Box waiting in the Dock. That is your first clear.
  2. Bring up the Dark Olive Box from Row 2 and the Pale Green Box from Row 2.
  3. Wait for their matching beads to cycle around the central Conveyor. Tap them as they pass the exit. Do not panic if you miss a cycle. Let them spin around again. Patience prevents a jam.
  4. Pull up the Light Blue Box and the Yellow Box. Catch their beads on the next rotation.
  5. Keep an eye on the Dark Blue beads. Ignore them. They are bait. You cannot access their Box yet, so let them spin.

Dropping the 5-Count Red Curtain in Beads Out Level 397

Every Box you clear drops the counter on the Red Curtain. Once you clear your fifth Box using only the beads from the center loop, the transition happens.

  1. The Red Curtain vanishes. This gives you access to the lower rows.
  2. Now you can safely start pulling from the top tracks. Bring up the Magenta and Light Orange Boxes from Row 1.
  3. Tap a short burst of Magenta beads from the top right track. Catch them in the Dock.
  4. Tap a short burst of Light Green beads from the top left track.
  5. Watch your buffer economy. The center loop is your only transit route. If you send too many beads down from the top tracks without having the correct Boxes ready in the Dock, they will collide with the spinning Dark Blue beads and cause a fatal jam. Pull one color down, box it immediately, then pull the next.
  6. Use the Multicolor Crates to handle the odd bead colors feeding in. Tap them to flip their state if you need to match a sudden run of pink or white beads.

Snapping the Bottom Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 397

You have cleared the top layers. The board is mostly empty. The final major obstacle is the bottom row.

  1. Pull the Green and Dark Blue pair into the Dock. Because of the Crate Lock, they come up together. You must fill one to snap the lock and free the other.
  2. Fill the Dark Blue Box first. Those Dark Blue beads have been spinning in your center loop since the start of the level. Tap them now.
  3. Once the Dark Blue Box clears, the Crate Lock breaks.
  4. The Green Box is now independent. Feed the remaining Light Green beads from the top left track straight down the middle to fill it.
  5. When you hit the last four Boxes on the board, Beads Out 397 speeds up. Keep your taps precise. Clear the lingering Brown and Orange Boxes to finish the board.
