Beads Out Level 186 Guide: The Double Lock and Curtain Trap

This board is a masterclass in visual misdirection. Beads Out Level 186 hits you with multiple overlapping blockers right out of the gate. You have a central loop stuffed with beads. You have two isolated outer arms holding hidden threats. Down below, the Boxes are trapped behind a combination of mechanical locks and a massive numbered curtain.

The dominant bead colors here are Light Blue, Green, Red, Black, and Pink. You need to process these fast, but the bottom Box placement is intentionally hostile. A locked Grey box and a locked Brown box sit directly in your way. Worse, a giant red curtain with a "4" requirement covers the entire bottom right quadrant.

This board differs from easier levels because you cannot just tap whatever matches. If you pull the wrong Boxes to the four-slot Dock, you will jam. You must sequence your clears to drop the curtain first, then break the physical locks, and only then tackle the hidden beads on the outer tracks.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 186

Look at the Conveyor. It forms a large central "O" shape with two separate outer arms that feed into the main loop at the bottom.

The left outer arm is a straight bottleneck. It starts with bright Blue beads. Behind them sits a wall of Black beads. Next is a Mystery Box (a black bead block with a white question mark). Purple beads bring up the rear.

The right outer arm mirrors this nightmare. It starts with Red beads, followed by Black beads, another Mystery Box, and Grey beads at the back.

The central "O" loop is completely packed. The bottom left exit point has Light Blue beads ready to drop. Above them are Red and Pink beads. The bottom right exit point holds Green beads, with more Green and Magenta beads stacked higher up the curve.

Now look at the lower Boxes. This area is a minefield. Row one features a Yellow box, a Red box, an empty space, a Brown box shackled by a metal Crate Lock, and a Magenta box. Row two holds a Grey box with another Crate Lock. Both of these locks have orange wiring running directly to the Orange box sitting next to them. Next to the Orange box are Light Blue, Green, and Dark Blue boxes. Row three contains Light Blue, Light Pink, and White boxes. The entire right side of this row and the space below it is hidden behind a red curtain requiring 4 box clears to open. At the very bottom, a long yellow stick blocker stretches across the left. Underneath it sit Green and Brown boxes. An isolated Green box sits on the bottom right.

The trap here is the Orange box. It looks safe. It is the key to breaking the Crate Locks. But you cannot prioritize it instantly because you have no Orange beads available on the starting Conveyor. You must clear the immediate garbage first.

Beads Out Level 186 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Control the four-slot Dock. That is your only priority. You have to feed the Dock exactly what the bottom of the Conveyor offers, while hunting for the four clears needed to drop the red curtain.

Breaking the Bottleneck in Beads Out Level 186

Your opening taps must clear the immediate exit points of the tracks. The central loop and the right arm are your starting targets.

  1. Send the Light Blue box from the third row up to the Dock. Tap the Light Blue beads sitting at the bottom left of the central loop.
  2. Send the Red box from the top row to the Dock. Tap the Red beads blocking the bottom of the right outer arm.
  3. Grab the Green box from the second row. Push it to the Dock and clear the Green beads sitting at the bottom right of the central loop.
  4. You now have three boxes filling up or clearing. You need a fourth clear to satisfy the red curtain's "4" requirement.
  5. Look at the central loop. As the Light Blue and Green beads vanish, Pink and Magenta beads will slide down. Send the Light Pink or Magenta box to the Dock and clear those beads.

Do not touch the Blue beads on the left outer arm yet. The Blue box is buried too deep, and pulling random boxes will jam your Dock. Ignore the left arm entirely during this first phase.

Dropping the Curtain and Crate Locks in Beads Out Level 186

Once you complete four Boxes, the board completely shifts. The red curtain vanishes.

  1. When the curtain drops, the hidden Boxes in the bottom right are exposed. You will see Red and Purple boxes become available. The long yellow stick blocker will also slide to the right, changing which lower boxes are accessible.
  2. The central loop will now rotate, bringing new colors to the exit. Watch for Orange beads.
  3. The moment Orange beads appear on the Conveyor, send the Orange box to the Dock.
  4. Fill the Orange box immediately. Do not get distracted.
  5. Completing the Orange box triggers the orange wiring. The metal Crate Locks on the Grey and Brown boxes instantly snap off.
  6. With the Grey box free, push it to the Dock. The right outer arm has Grey beads trapped behind its Mystery Box. You need this Grey box ready.

Clearing the Mystery Boxes in Beads Out Level 186

The midgame is all about track management. The outer arms hold the final threats. Both arms contain Black beads blocking Mystery Boxes.

  1. You must clear the Black beads. Send a Black box to the Dock as soon as one becomes available from the lower rows.
  2. Tap the Black beads in the right arm first. This exposes the right Mystery Box.
  3. Tap the right Mystery Box to reveal its color. Match it with a corresponding box from the bottom.
  4. Once the right side is moving, attack the left arm. Pull the Dark Blue box to the Dock and clear the bright Blue beads at the start of the left track.
  5. Clear the left Black beads next.
  6. Expose the left Mystery Box, identify its color, and route it to the matching Box.
  7. Keep one slot open on your Dock at all times. The final sequence requires routing Purple beads from the left arm and White/Grey beads from the central loop. If you fill all four slots with partial boxes like Light Blue, Grey, Orange, and Magenta, you will fail right at the finish line.

Finish the remaining Purple and Yellow beads by matching them with the final isolated boxes at the bottom of the screen. Keep your taps deliberate. Feed the Dock only what the track provides.
