Beads Out Level 478 Guide: The Curtain Crush and Mystery Box Trap
Beads Out Level 478 is an absolute bottleneck. The board forces you into a tight space immediately, and one wrong tap on the Conveyor ends the run. Look at the lower half of the screen. You have two massive red curtains locked behind counters—a "3" on the left and a "5" on the right. This means the lower left corner stays dead until you clear three full Boxes, and the right side stays dead until you clear five.
The immediate threat is the central oval track. It holds a huge block of Light Blue beads right at the exit point. Flanking that Light Blue block are thick chunks of Red on the left and Yellow on the right. But look at your starting Boxes. The top row gives you Brown, Beige, an empty gap, Dark Purple, and Light Purple. None of these match the beads choking the exit.
This board is different from easy levels because the visible Boxes do not match the accessible beads. You have five grey Mystery Boxes scattered across the second and third rows acting as a wall. You must feed beads blindly into those Mystery Boxes to figure out what colors they actually need. If you pull the wrong beads from the outer tracks too early, your four-slot Dock fills up. Game over.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 478
The Conveyor layout features two outer feed lanes dumping into a large central oval. The central oval is your primary problem. Moving clockwise from the bottom, it holds Light Blue, Red, Blue, Red, Green, Purple, White, Orange, and Yellow.
The left outer track is loaded with Pink beads followed by black question-mark beads and Dark Green beads. The right outer track has Dark Blue beads followed by more black question-mark beads and Red beads. Do not touch these outer tracks yet. They will crowd the Conveyor junction and jam your only exit.
Your Box setup is a complete mess of blockers.
- Top row: Brown, Beige, empty space, Dark Purple, Light Purple.
- Second row: Mystery Box, Beige, Mystery Box, Pink, Mystery Box.
- Third row: Mystery Box, Orange, Mystery Box.
- Bottom area: Left Curtain (3), a single Red Box squeezed in the center, Right Curtain (5).
The grey Mystery Boxes are the true traps in Beads Out Level 478. You have to drop them into the Dock to reveal their colors. However, later in the level, four Half Boxes (Beige, Orange, Grey, Purple) will suddenly spawn and consume your entire Dock space. You need extreme discipline. You cannot afford to pull Pink beads from the left track or Blue beads from the right track until the matching Boxes are actually exposed.
Beads Out Level 478 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact order. Speed does not matter at the start. Board control matters. You need to crack the central oval and drop those numbered curtains fast.
Cracking the Central Oval in Beads Out Level 478
The opening moves require clearing out the bottom of the central oval. You have Light Blue, Red, and Yellow beads sitting right at the chute, but no visible Boxes for them.
- Drop the top row Brown, Beige, Dark Purple, and Light Purple Boxes into your Dock.
- Let the Light Blue beads fall into the first available Mystery Box. This forces the game to reveal the required color. Repeat this for the Red and Yellow beads blocking the exit.
- Feed the White and Purple beads from the upper half of the central oval into your visible top-row Boxes.
- Once you clear three Boxes, the left Red Curtain drops. This opens up the bottom-left corner, revealing a Yellow Box.
- Keep pushing central oval beads into the remaining Mystery Boxes until you hit five total clears.
Do not touch the Pink beads on the left outer track or the Dark Blue beads on the right outer track yet. The outer lanes are bait. If you pull them now, you will block the central oval from feeding out.
Clearing the Curtains and Half Boxes in Beads Out Level 478
Once five Boxes are cleared, the right Red Curtain drops. This drastically changes the board. The bottom right corner opens up to reveal Dark Red, Dark Green, Orange, Green, and Red Boxes.
Simultaneously, you will hit the mid-game mechanic shift. Your Dock will fill with four Half Boxes demanding 50% capacity. You will see Beige, Orange, Grey, and Purple Half Boxes.
- Immediately prioritize the four Half Boxes. Send the Grey question-mark beads from the outer tracks down to clear the Grey Half Box.
- Push the remaining Purple beads from the central oval into the Purple Half Box.
- Clear the Beige and Orange Half Boxes using the straggler beads from the top of the central loop.
- With the Dock cleared of Half Boxes, start tapping the newly exposed Boxes from the right curtain area. Pull the Dark Green, Dark Red, and Orange Boxes down.
- Now you can finally tap the Pink beads on the left outer track. Feed them directly into the two Pink Boxes sitting in the middle right of the board.
Surviving the Outer Feeds in Beads Out Level 478
The central oval is mostly empty now. The threat moves to the outer lanes. Both outer tracks are pushing large clumps of black question-mark beads followed by colored beads.
- Send the black question-mark beads into any remaining Mystery Boxes.
- Tap the Dark Blue beads from the right outer track into the Dark Blue Box sitting on the middle right.
- Tap the Dark Green beads from the left outer track into the bottom-right Dark Green Box.
- Clean up the remaining Red and Yellow beads using the bottom-center Red Box and bottom-left Yellow Box. Keep the flow steady so the outer lanes don't overlap at the center junction.
