Beads Out Level 862 Guide: Crate Locks and the Double Alcove Trap
Beads Out Level 862 is a massive trap. The board looks manageable at first glance, but the lower Dock layout is entirely hostile. You start with thick, dominant chunks of purple, grey, and orange sitting right at the bottom lip of the Conveyor, ready to choke the central exit gate. But you have absolutely nowhere to put them. The game gives you no immediate options for these colors.
Look straight at your starting active Boxes. You have a Light Green (0%), a Dark Green (0%), a Pink (0%), and a Yellow (50%). None of these match the garbage currently blocking your immediate path. This is exactly why Beads Out 862 breaks players. You have to wait. You must let the useless purple and grey colors cycle entirely past the gate while you snipe the specific greens and yellows you actually need.
The real menace here is the bottom Box placement. Your board is split. You have two massive vertical columns on the right side. On the left side, you have two horizontal alcoves locked away behind solid Crate Locks. The middle alcove traps two Orange Boxes behind a pink-colored 6 Crate Lock. The bottom alcove traps three Beige Boxes behind a beige-colored 5 Crate Lock. You cannot win without violently cracking those locks to free the trapped containers. This board forces a very strict order of operations.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 862
Right now, your priority is reading the vertical stacks and memorizing the locked alcoves.
The active Boxes sit up top in a neat row, waiting for you. But the deep reserves below them dictate your whole strategy. Scan the left vertical column. Top to bottom, it holds Light Green, Grey, Dark Green, Yellow, and another Light Green. Now scan the right vertical column. It holds Dark Green, Purple, Dark Blue, Red, White, and Red.
Notice the immediate jam risk. Grey and Purple Boxes are buried behind the first layer of Light Green and Dark Green Boxes. That means all those purple and grey beads taking up massive space on the bottom curve of the Conveyor are dead weight. Do not touch them. Tapping them will instantly jam your limited queue.
Your most critical colors up top are yellow, green, and pink. The yellow chunk on the outer left side of the Conveyor is your best friend. Your active Yellow Box is already half full at 50%. A quick tap clears it completely and opens up highly valuable board space for the next container in the stack.
The Pink 6 Crate Lock is your biggest early game target. It dictates the entire routing logic. You have a massive block of pink beads sitting in the inner loops of the Conveyor. You have to route those exact pink beads into the active Pink Box. Doing so simultaneously counts down that Pink 6 Crate Lock, tearing open the middle alcove and spitting those two trapped Orange Boxes onto the main track. The lower Dock placement relies entirely on you busting that pink lock fast before the conveyor overflows.
Beads Out Level 862 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this sequence perfectly. The conveyor speed will punish you immediately if you pull the wrong color too early.
Opening the Pink Gate in Beads Out Level 862
Your first taps require extreme patience. The bottom lip is flooded with useless purple, grey, and orange beads. Let them pass by the gate.
- Clear the Yellow Box. Wait for the yellow bead cluster from the outer tracks to reach the exit gate. Tap it. Your Yellow Box sits at 50%, so it fills instantly, clears out, and pulls up a fresh container from the vertical stacks below.
- Snipe the Greens. You have Light Green and Dark Green Boxes active right now. There is a cluster of dark green beads at the top right and light green scattered in the loops. Grab them exactly as they pass the bottom center gate.
- Smash the Pink Crate Lock. You need exactly 6 pink beads. Tap the heavy pink string from the inner right loop. This action completely fills your Pink Box and destroys the Pink Crate Lock at the same time.
- Ignore the Orange Bait. When the Pink Crate Lock shatters, it violently shoves two Orange Boxes out of the middle alcove and into the main grid. Do not start tapping orange beads yet. The board is still too crowded and your priority is clearing the vertical columns first.
Managing the Vertical Columns in Beads Out Level 862
Now the board shifts aggressively. The top layer of your vertical columns is gone. The underlying colors finally push up into the active slots.
- Dump the Purple and Grey. You finally have active Grey and Purple Boxes sitting at the top of the Dock. The bottom straightaway of the Conveyor is absolutely choking on these two colors. Tap them immediately. Clear that blockage so the outer tracks can flow freely.
- Attack the Beige 5 Crate Lock. Look closely at the bottom left alcove. Three Beige Boxes sit trapped behind a Beige Crate Lock requiring 5 hits. You have a long, unbroken string of beige beads riding on the outer left track. Route them into an active Beige Box as soon as one pops up from the vertical stack.
- Sort the Orange. Now that your conveyor is breathing and the purple jam is gone, feed the orange beads from the outer right track into those two Orange Boxes you freed earlier.
- Watch the Left Lane. The left vertical column still hides a Dark Red and another Yellow Box. Keep pulling from the right vertical column to keep the board even. If you let the right side stack too high, you run out of active sorting slots and fail the level.
Finishing the Bottom Alcove in Beads Out Level 862
The late game turns chaotic as the locks change and the bottom Dock empties out completely.
- Clear the Light Blue Crate Lock. Later in the level, the bottom alcove shifts. A new Light Blue 2 Crate Lock appears, trapping a pink, orange, and beige Box inside. Hit it with exactly two light blue beads from the outer left loop.
- Empty the Vertical Remnants. You will be left staring at Dark Blue, Red, and White Boxes from the very bottom of the right vertical column. The conveyor will have distinct blocks of these primary colors left.
- Ride the Speed-Up. When the last four Boxes remain, the Conveyor heavily accelerates. Do not panic tap. Wait for the solid blocks of red and dark blue to hit the exit dead center. Tap decisively to finish the board.
