Beads Out Level 172 Guide: The Red Curtain Blockade

This board plays mind games right from the start. A massive red curtain completely covers the lower half of the play area. It holds a gold seal with a "5" stamped on it. You cannot see the main puzzle. You must clear five specific Boxes before that curtain drops. You start with exactly five Boxes sitting directly above the curtain: Red, Olive Green, Light Green, Dark Red, and Brown.

The Conveyor forms a wide, trophy-like shape with a left and right feed. You have a very tight buffer. The exit chute is immediately jammed with bead colors that do not match most of your starting Boxes. One wrong tap fills your Dock with useless beads, failing the level in the first ten seconds. This is why Beads Out Level 172 ruins win streaks. You have to sacrifice valuable buffer space instantly just to access the beads you actually need.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 172

Look at the Conveyor traffic. It is a disaster waiting to happen. The exit chute holds a cluster of Brown, Dark Green, and Grey beads.

Your starting Boxes are Red, Olive Green, Light Green, Dark Red, and Brown. You have a Brown Box. You do not have a Dark Green or Grey Box. You only have four empty slots in your active Dock area. The game is forcing you to dump the Dark Green and Grey beads into those empty slots just to push the line forward.

The left track holds long chains of Red, Blue, and Light Blue beads. The right track is an absolute mess of mixed colors: Yellow, Dark Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Pink. A top horizontal bridge connects the two sides, holding Orange, Grey, Olive Green, and Pink.

Flanking the red curtain are columns of unplayable grey stone blocks. These restrict the physical space your Boxes can occupy. Beneath the curtain, peeking out at the very bottom, are two numbered pedestals. The left pedestal is white with a "4". The right pedestal is blue with a "3". These hold the final Boxes out of reach until the late game.

The biggest trap in Beads Out 172 is the Orange bead cluster on the right track. It looks tempting. Do not touch it. You have no Orange Box available until the curtain falls and the pedestals shift.

Beads Out Level 172 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact order. Your Dock space is too limited for improvisation. You must control the exit chute and break the gold seal before the track jams.

Breaking the Gold Seal in Beads Out Level 172

The opening moves require a calculated risk. You must fill your buffer with useless beads just to reach the correct colors.

  1. Tap the Brown beads sitting directly at the exit chute. Send them into the Brown Box. This clears the immediate blockage.
  2. Send the Dark Green and Grey beads into the empty slots of your Dock. You have no matching Boxes for them yet. This is mandatory. You now have severely limited buffer space. Play perfectly from here.
  3. Pull from the left track. A large cluster of Red beads is now accessible. Feed them into the Red Box to clear it entirely.
  4. Target the Olive Green beads. You will find them on the top horizontal bridge of the Conveyor. Route them down into the Olive Green Box.
  5. Clear the Light Green Box. You have to carefully cycle the right track to bring the Green beads down to the chute.
  6. Finish the Dark Red Box. Look for the Red beads mixed into the right track. Once you clear this fifth Box, the gold "5" seal breaks. The red curtain vanishes.

Surviving the Curtain Drop in Beads Out Level 172

The board opens up. The hidden Boxes slide upward into the active area. You now have access to Pink, Orange, and Purple Boxes. The grey beads you stored earlier finally have a purpose.

  1. Clear your buffer immediately. A Grey Box (or a split Half Box depending on the cycle) enters the active Dock. Send the stored Grey beads into it. This frees up your critical buffer slots.
  2. Empty the Dark Green beads from your buffer next. Feed them into the newly revealed Green Boxes.
  3. Shift your attention back to the left track. The Light Blue and Blue beads have been waiting since the start of the level. The path is finally clear. Tap the Blue bead chains and send them into their matching Boxes.
  4. Target the Pink beads scattered on the top and right tracks. Route them into the newly revealed Pink Boxes.
  5. Watch the pedestals at the bottom. The white block counts down to "1", holding an Orange Box. The blue block counts down to "3", holding a Purple Box. You must clear the Boxes resting on top of them to lower the counters.

Clearing the Numbered Pedestals in Beads Out Level 172

The board is mostly empty. The Conveyor is running out of beads. Your final targets are locked on the bottom pedestals.

  1. Clear the Orange Box. The massive chains of Orange beads sitting on the right track and top bridge are finally useful. Tap them rapidly. The white pedestal will drop, pushing the Orange Box into play.
  2. Feed the Purple Box. This is stuck on the blue pedestal. Use the remaining Dark Blue and Purple beads sliding down the right track.
  3. The Last Four speed-up triggers. The Conveyor accelerates. Do not panic.
  4. Empty the straggler beads. You will have a few Yellow and Pink beads left near the top right curve. Tap them in sequence to finish the board. Keep your taps deliberate so the speed boost does not cause a fatal misclick at the final second.
