Beads Out Level 140 Guide: The Crate Lock and Slider Trap
This board is a traffic jam waiting to happen. The bottom of your Conveyor is completely choked by a massive wave of Red beads. You cannot do anything until that red block is cleared. Looking at the board, the lower sections are heavily fortified with special mechanics. You have a central slider track holding a block marked "2". You have yellow horizontal pins barricading the lower left. On the bottom right, there is a Crate Lock sitting on a Yellow Box, crushing two Sealed Cubes underneath it.
This board is punishing. If you just tap the top row blindly, your four-slot Dock will fill up and you will fail. The upper grid blocks everything you actually need. You have to move specific top-row pieces out of the way just to start the flow. The key to Beads Out Level 140 is ignoring the lower traps early on and hyper-focusing on the exact sequence that clears the bottom of the hourglass Conveyor.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 140
Look at the top row of the grid. You have Blue, Brown, Light Blue, Grey, and Purple. These are your gatekeepers.
The Conveyor splits into an hourglass shape above the board. The left side holds sections of Yellow and Dark Green beads. The right side holds Pink, Red, and Light Blue beads. None of that matters right now. The bottom exit is entirely Red. You need a Red Box fast. Where is it? Dead center, second row, directly under the Light Blue Box. That is your primary target.
Notice the traps below the top two rows. The bottom left has two Red Boxes sitting isolated next to the slider track. Do not try to reach those early. They are bait. You will waste Dock space trying to clear the path to them.
The bottom right is your actual mid-game priority. That Yellow Box in the fourth column wears a Crate Lock. It must be cleared to free the 500-point Sealed Cubes (Light Blue and Purple) trapped beneath it.
The layout dictates a strict order of operations. Top center first. Clear the right side to break the lock. Handle the slider last. The yellow horizontal pins extending from the middle track will block your access to the Orange and Green Boxes on the left until that slider counter reaches zero. Do not fight the pins. Play around them.
Beads Out Level 140 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact sequence. The Dock only holds four Boxes. One wrong tap on a Brown or Purple Box early on will jam your board completely.
First Moves That Set the Route
Your only goal in the first ten seconds is getting Red beads moving.
- Tap the Light Blue Box (top row, third column). Send it to the Dock.
- Tap the Red Box (second row, third column). Send it to the Dock.
- Tap the massive cluster of Red beads at the bottom of the Conveyor. Let them flood into the Red Box. It will fill up and disappear, clearing your first major hurdle.
- Now the Conveyor can breathe. The Yellow beads on the left and the Pink beads on the right slide down to the exit.
- Tap the Pink Box (second row, second column). You have to move the Brown Box above it first. Send Brown to the Dock, then send Pink to the Dock.
- Tap the Pink beads on the right side of the Conveyor to clear them out.
You now have a Light Blue Box and a Brown Box sitting in your Dock. Leave them there. Do not panic about space yet. The board is opening up.
Mid-Level Board Control
With the central jam gone, you must attack the right side of the board. The Yellow Box with the Crate Lock is your next mandatory target.
- Move the Grey Box (top row, fourth column) to the Dock.
- Tap the White Box below it.
- Tap the Light Green Box below that.
- The Yellow Box is now exposed. Tap it into the Dock.
- Feed the Yellow beads from the left side of the Conveyor into the Yellow Box.
- Filling this Box breaks the Crate Lock. The chains snap.
- The two 500-point Sealed Cubes (Light Blue and Purple) are now active at the bottom right.
This is where the route speeds up. You already have a Light Blue Box sitting in your Dock from the very first step. Feed the Light Blue beads coming down the right side of the Conveyor into it. Clear it out. Then grab the Purple Box from the top right corner. Feed it.
Closing the Last Boxes Fast
You are now looking at the left side of the board and the central slider. The block is marked with a "2".
- To drop the slider counter, you must clear the adjacent Boxes. Target the Dark Green and Orange Boxes in the left columns.
- Move the Blue Box (top left) to the Dock to reach them.
- Feed the Green beads from the Conveyor into the Dark Green Box.
- Every adjacent clear ticks the slider down. When it hits zero, the block drops.
- The yellow horizontal pins instantly retract.
- The bottom left area is finally clear. You can now tap the two bottom Red Boxes.
- Send them to the Dock and catch the remaining Red beads looping around the top of the Conveyor.
When only four Boxes remain on the board, Beads Out speeds up the animation. Do not lose your rhythm. The Conveyor will spit the final beads fast. Match the last Orange and Purple beads to the remaining Boxes to finish the level. Keep your taps deliberate and do not rush the final merges.
