Beads Out Level 420 Guide: The Crate Lock and Sealed Cube Trap
Beads Out Level 420 is a massive chokepoint. You drop into this board and immediately see why it ruins streaks. The dominant colors clogging your view are bright pink, yellow, purple, and a very specific shade of olive green. The bottom Dock is an absolute mess of structural blockers. The center is choked out by a Crate Lock, and the left side is guarded by two heavy Sealed Cubes.
This board forces you to play completely counter to your instincts. Normally, you clear the easiest colors first. Here, doing that will instantly jam your track. The left side of the Dock drops into a deep, three-deep vertical chute. The center drops into another isolated chute. The right side has a weird little two-slot pocket holding a magenta and a white Box. You have almost no horizontal breathing room. One wrong tap on the outer track of the Conveyor, and you are dead in the water.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 420
Look at the shape of the Conveyor. It is a tight double-U formation. The inner track holds massive chains of yellow, dark blue, green, and pink. The outer track is a rainbow of red, pink, white, green, and purple. The bottom curve of that outer track gets crowded immediately. If you let beads stack up at the bottom dead center, the whole machine halts.
The top row of the Dock is your only immediate play area. Reading left to right, you have dark green, light blue, mint green, a reverse blue, and light pink. These sit right on top of the real threats.
The most dangerous trap on this board is the orange bait. You will see orange beads on the Conveyor. Do not touch them. Look at the second and third rows on the left. Follow this exact order. The dependency chain on this board is brutally strict.
- Target the light pink Box on the top right. Send the long chain of pink beads from the inner Conveyor loop.
- Clear the dark green Box on the top left next. Grab the dark green beads trailing right behind the pinks.
- Feed the light blue and mint green Boxes. The top row must be entirely stripped away.
- Attack the center Crate Lock. Route light yellow and red beads into the bound Boxes. Fill them completely to snap the iron bar.
- Hit the orange Sealed Cubes. Once the top left is clear, pump orange beads into the two '7' crates to break their shields.
- Clear the resulting standard orange Boxes.
- Feed the blue, dark purple, and brown Half Boxes that drop into the top slots during the midgame transition.
- Empty the deep left chute. Clear the top olive green Box, then the reverse red, then the bottom olive green.
- Finish the isolated right pocket by clearing the reverse magenta and the final white Box.
Breaking the Top Row in Beads Out Level 420
The opening taps dictate your survival. You have to punch a hole straight through the top row. Start with the light pink Box. The inner U-shape of the track feeds a perfect, long string of pink beads. Tap them fast. Clear that Box out of the way.
Next, shift your eyes left. Hit the dark green and light blue Boxes. Do it now. If you wait, the Conveyor jams at the bottom curve. You must ignore the orange and brown beads rolling down the sides. They are pure bait. Touching them fills your limited buffer with dead weight. You have no active Boxes for those colors yet. Keep your focus strictly on stripping the top layer to expose the metal hardware sitting in the second row.
Surviving the Half Box Transition in Beads Out Level 420
Once that top row vanishes, the real game begins. The light yellow and red Boxes trapped under the Crate Lock are your primary targets. You must feed them equally. Break the lock. The second that lock snaps, the board cracks wide open.
Now the left lane is your safest dumping ground. Those two orange Sealed Cubes are finally exposed. Grind down their '7' counters by sniping every orange bead on the track. As you hollow out the center and left, the game throws a massive curveball. The top empty slots of the Dock suddenly populate with 50% Half Boxes. You will see a blue, a dark purple, and a brown Half Box slide into view.
These are your lifelines. They only require half the normal bead count to clear. Prioritize them instantly. Clear the blue 50% Box, then the purple, then the brown. Knocking these out quickly creates massive gaps on the Conveyor, saving you from the midgame jam risk that usually kills players right here. The bottom Dock arrangement looks much less intimidating once these fast-clear boxes are off the board.
The Deep Chute Finish in Beads Out Level 420
You are now looking at a hollowed-out center and a terrifyingly deep left column. This left chute contains an olive green Box, a reverse red Box, and another olive green Box stacked straight down. You have to clear them vertically. You cannot touch the bottom until the top is gone.
Route your olive green beads. Then handle the red. As you clear this left lane, the Last Four speed-up will kick in. The track moves faster. Do not panic tap. Wait for the exact colors you need for that bottom olive green Box and the straggler white Box trapped in the bottom right corner. Clear the right pocket, watch the yellow exit arrows light up at the bottom of the screen, and dump the remaining beads to finish the board.
