Beads Out Level 491 Guide: The Crate Lock and Mystery Wall

Beads Out Level 491 is a traffic jam waiting to happen. The board throws a massive wall of blockers at you right from the start. You have a Crate Lock demanding four clears on the left side. You have six Mystery Boxes cluttering the middle and bottom rows. You also have broken Half Boxes scattered across the grid with zero immediate matches.

The dominant colors on the Conveyor at the start are dark green, white, light blue, and dark blue. Your lower Box placement gives you a tiny lifeline. The top row holds a dark green Box, a white Box, and a red Box fully exposed. Everything else is buried. This board is brutal if you tap the wrong color early. The Dock only holds four beads. Fill it with a color you cannot clear, and you will wipe out immediately.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 491

Look at the Conveyor loop. It feeds from two outside pipes. The left pipe holds light blue beads, but they are blocked by a black block with a question mark. The right pipe holds white beads, also blocked by a black question mark block. You cannot rely on these outer feeds until the main loop moves.

The main loop itself is a tight sequence. Starting from the top left and moving clockwise, you have dark green, white, light blue, dark blue, pink, orange, yellow, orange again, red, brown, and grey.

Now look at your Boxes. The grid is a mess. The top row has a dark green Box, a white Box, a red Box, an empty space, and a pink Half Box. Row two holds a light green Box, a grey Mystery Box, a dark blue Box, and a white Box. Row three has a yellow Box, another Mystery Box, a red Box, an orange Half Box, and a third Mystery Box. Row four is where the trap springs. A Crate Lock with the number 4 blocks the left column. It traps a light blue Half Box. Next to it is a brown Box, a Mystery Box, and another light blue Half Box. The bottom row holds an orange Half Box, a Mystery Box, a grey Box, a pink Half Box, and the final Mystery Box.

The immediate threat is the Crate Lock. It locks down the entire left side. The light blue Half Box behind it is useless until you clear four full Boxes. The grey Mystery Boxes are secondary threats. They hide the colors you need to finish the level. You cannot plan for them until they reveal themselves. You must clear the open top Boxes first to break the Crate Lock and open the board.

Beads Out Level 491 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact sequence to survive the opening squeeze. Do not touch the yellow or pink beads until the track is safe.

Beating the Opening Squeeze in Beads Out Level 491

Your entire goal right now is hitting the number 4 on the Crate Lock. You have three easy targets sitting right in the top row.

  1. Tap the dark green beads at the top left of the main Conveyor loop. Send them straight into the top-left dark green Box. That counts as your first clear. The lock drops to 3.
  2. Target the white beads next. The top row has a white Box sitting right next to where the green one was. Tap the white beads from the main loop. If you need more, tap the white beads sitting at the top of the right feed pipe to finish the Box. Lock drops to 2.
  3. Look at the second row. There is an exposed dark blue Box. Tap the dark blue beads from the top right of the main loop. Send them in. Lock drops to 1.
  4. Now grab the red beads sitting near the bottom right of the loop. Route them into the red Box in the top row.
  5. The Crate Lock instantly shatters. The left side of the board is now open.

Cracking the Crate Lock and Mystery Boxes in Beads Out Level 491

Breaking the lock changes the whole flow of Beads Out Level 491. The light blue Half Box on the left is finally free. The adjacent Mystery Boxes will start flipping to reveal their true colors. Now you have to play cleanup with the broken halves.

  1. Merge the light blue Half Boxes. You have one on the bottom left (just freed from the lock) and one on the right side of row four. Tap the light blue beads from the main loop or the left feed pipe to fill them.
  2. Merge the orange Half Boxes. You have one sitting in row three on the right, and another in the bottom left corner. The main Conveyor has two separate sections of orange beads. Tap them to clear these halves.
  3. Merge the pink Half Boxes. One is at the top right, the other is at the bottom right. Use the pink beads rotating through the top of the loop.
  4. Watch the black question mark blocks on the feed pipes. As you pull beads from the main loop, these blocks will advance. Keep pulling primary colors into the exposed white, light green, and yellow Boxes in the middle rows to keep the track flowing.
  5. Treat the newly revealed Mystery Boxes as your highest priority. As soon as a grey box flips to a solid color, check your Conveyor. If that color is available, tap it immediately. Do not let revealed boxes sit empty.

Clearing the Bottom Rows in Beads Out Level 491

The board is mostly empty now, but the bottom row is still a hazard. The grey Box at the bottom center is usually the last stubborn obstacle.

  1. Wait for the grey beads to rotate around to the bottom of the Conveyor loop. Tap them into the bottom center grey Box.
  2. Check the brown Box in row four. Feed the brown beads from the loop to clear it.
  3. Any remaining Mystery Boxes in the bottom corners will now be exposed. Clear their matching colors from the outer feed pipes.
  4. Empty the final few colors into the remaining Boxes on the board. The Last Four speed-up will trigger. Keep your Dock completely clear and spam the final matches to finish the level.
