Beads Out Level 742 Guide: The Striped Hazard Column Trap
This board is a brutal choke point. You are looking at a messy split layout with a massive central blockade. The dominant bead colors clogging the loop early are dark red, light pink, green, and a huge bottom-heavy streak of light blue and dark blue.
The bottom Dock has four slots. It starts with a green Box and a pink Box already taking up half your space. The real nightmare here is the central column sitting entirely on yellow-and-black striped hazard tiles. That column blocks cross-board access and dictates your midgame completely. This board differs from easier levels because of the dual dead-end trenches at the bottom. The left trench hides two Mystery Boxes. The right trench hides one Mystery Box and a light orange Half Box. You cannot just grab colors at random here. Order is everything.
Reading the Split Board in Beads Out Level 742
Look at the exact layout before you tap anything. The board is broken into three distinct vertical sections.
The left side holds a clean stack of light pink, light blue, and grey, with a floating yellow and dark green just below them. Right beneath that green sits the left dead-end trench with two stacked Mystery Boxes.
The center is the hazard column. It holds blue, pink, dark green, and dark red. Because these sit on the striped tiles, they act as a rigid wall. You have to clear them top to bottom.
The right side is a massive, disorganized cluster. Light pink, dark red, and orange line the top. Green, red, brown, light blue, purple, and light orange fill the middle. Underneath all of this sits the right trench containing the third Mystery Box and a light orange Half Box.
The right side is a trap. It looks like an easy place to start matching, but touching those right-side Boxes too early will flood your Dock. The Conveyor crowds fast at the bottom with light blue and red beads. You need an escape valve, and that valve is the left side of the board.
Beads Out Level 742 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact dependency chain. Control the Conveyor and do not pull unmatchable boxes into your limited Dock.
Clearing the Left Trench in Beads Out Level 742
Your opening taps must clear the immediate garbage and open up board space.
- Feed the green and pink Boxes currently sitting in your Dock. Wait for the light green and pink beads to rotate around the top of the Conveyor and tap them in. Get these out immediately.
- Ignore the entire right side of the board. It is pure bait.
- Drop the floating yellow Box and the dark green Box from the lower-left side into the Dock.
- Feed them. A large string of dark green beads is coming down the right side of the Conveyor. Hit it as soon as it reaches the bottom curve.
- Clearing that dark green and yellow exposes the two Mystery Boxes in the left trench. Pull them into the Dock the second you have empty slots.
- Let the Mystery Boxes reveal their colors. Match them immediately using the heavy clusters of light blue and red currently jamming the bottom of the Conveyor.
Dismantling the Hazard Column in Beads Out Level 742
With the entire left trench empty, you now have breathing room. The transition into the midgame requires breaking the yellow-and-black striped central wall.
- Look at the top of the hazard column. Drop the blue Box and the pink Box into your Dock.
- The Conveyor will have a fresh rotation of light blue and pink beads. Clear these two Boxes quickly.
- Now drop the light pink and light blue Boxes from the far-left stack. This completely opens the left side of the board, drastically reducing your jam risk.
- Move your attention back to the hazard column. Drop the dark red Box that was previously trapped under the pink one.
- Wait for the dark red beads. They cluster heavily on the left side of the Conveyor loop. Do not pull any right-side boxes until this dark red clears.
Exposing the Final Right Trench in Beads Out Level 742
The finish requires surgical precision on the remaining right-side cluster.
- Start peeling the top layer off the right side. Grab the light pink, dark red, and orange Boxes.
- Watch the brown beads. There is a massive brown section on the top right of the Conveyor. Wait until it rotates to the bottom before you drop the brown Box from the right cluster into your Dock. If you drop it too early, you stall your feed.
- Dig down to the bottom right trench. Pull the final Mystery Box and the light orange Half Box.
- The board will now trigger the Last Four speed-up. The Conveyor accelerates.
- Rapid-fire the final purple, green, and light orange beads into the remaining Boxes to finish the level. Stay focused on the bottom loop as the speed increases.
