Beads Out Level 124 Guide: The Purple Bottleneck and the Ice Block Trap

Beads Out Level 124 is a trap. The board looks straightforward until you notice the massive icy wall cutting the lower Dock in half. The left side of the Conveyor is completely locked by a huge chain of Purple beads. The right side is jammed by Yellow beads. You have a limited number of active slots at the top of the screen. This is a classic bottleneck puzzle.

If you just start tapping colors because they are close to the exit, you will fail in under thirty seconds. This board forces you to play a strict sequence. You have to ignore an entire half of the Conveyor while carefully managing the few accessible Boxes you actually have. The real enemy in Beads Out Level 124 is the row of four icy Sealed Cubes marked with "200" sitting right in the middle of the board. They block all access to the bottom rows. You cannot reach the Purple or Red Boxes until you deal with the top half.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 124

Look at your starting layout. The placement of the Boxes dictates your entire opening strategy.

The top row of the Dock contains Orange, Light Green, White, and Light Pink Boxes. Directly below them in the second row, you have Light Blue, Dark Blue, Yellow, and Dark Green Boxes.

Then you hit the wall. The third row consists entirely of four icy Sealed Cubes marked "200". These blocks are physical barriers. Because of them, the Grey, Light Blue, Purple, and Red Boxes buried in rows four and five are completely dead to you right now.

Now look at the Conveyor. The yellow beads are sitting right at the right-side exit. The purple beads are sitting right at the left-side exit.

Here is the trap. The Purple beads look tempting. Do not tap them. You have absolutely zero access to the Purple Boxes because they are trapped at the very bottom of the Dock beneath the icy Sealed Cubes. If you pull a Purple Box or send Purple beads to your active slots early, you will permanently jam your buffer economy. The left lane is dead. Leave it alone.

Your most common early colors are Light Blue, Dark Green, and Pink. You need to focus entirely on the right lane of the Conveyor and the top inner loop to survive the opening phase.

Beads Out Level 124 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this specific order to break the bottleneck. One wrong pull will clog your active slots and ruin the run.

First Moves That Set the Route

You need to clear the right side of the Conveyor. To do that, you need the Yellow Box sitting in the second row.

  1. Move the Top Row: Pull the Orange, Light Green, White, and Light Pink Boxes from the first row up into your four active slots at the top of the screen. You must get them out of the way.
  2. Clear the Yellow Bottleneck: Moving that top row completely exposes the Yellow Box in the second row. Tap the Yellow beads on the right side of the Conveyor. Because the space above the Yellow Box is now clear, the beads will flow straight into it without needing to occupy an active slot.
  3. Ignore the Left Side: The left side of the Conveyor is still blocked by Purple beads. Ignore them. Touching them now is an instant game over.
  4. Process Light Blue: Behind the Yellow beads on the right side is a massive chain of Light Blue beads. Look at the second row of the Dock again. There is a Light Blue Box sitting on the far left. Tap the Light Blue beads to send them straight into that exposed Box.

Mid-Level Board Control

You have now relieved the immediate pressure on the right lane. But the board is still heavily restricted. The right lane is now pushing Grey beads forward, but the Grey Box is buried under the icy Sealed Cubes in row four.

You need to shift your focus to the inner loops of the Conveyor to create space.

  1. Work the Inner Loop: The top inner loop holds Dark Green, Pink, and Orange beads. You already pulled an Orange Box and a Light Pink Box into your active slots during step one. Start feeding these inner loop beads into your active slots.
  2. Manage the Buffer: Getting the Orange, Pink, and Light Green beads out of the inner loops creates physical gaps on the Conveyor. Gaps are how you survive the mid-game in Beads Out Level 124. When the outer chains try to push forward, these gaps give them room to breathe so the level doesn't jam.
  3. Clear the Second Row: You still have a Dark Blue and a Dark Green Box sitting in the second row above the icy Sealed Cubes. Feed the Dark Green beads from the inner loop into that Dark Green Box.
  4. Bypass the Ice Barrier: As you fully clear the first and second rows of Boxes, the board state shifts. You must finish off the active Boxes in your top slots to force the board to open access to the lower Dock. Once those top Boxes hit 100% and vanish, you finally get to reach past those 200-mark Sealed Cubes.

Closing the Last Boxes Fast

The bottom half of the board is finally open. The icy Sealed Cubes are no longer restricting your pulls. Rows four and five are in play.

  1. Clear the Grey Chain: The Grey beads have been waiting on the right side of the Conveyor this entire time. The Grey Box in row four is now accessible. Pull it up or feed it directly.
  2. Break the Purple Lock: The left side of the Conveyor has been frozen since the level started. Now is the time. Pull the Purple Box from the bottom right corner of the Dock (row five). Tap the huge chain of Purple beads on the left lane. This massive clear opens the entire left side of the board.
  3. Mop up the Red: Red beads are sitting right behind the Purple chain on the left. Pull the Red Box from the bottom left corner and feed it.
  4. Survive the Speed-Up: When you drop down to the final four Boxes, the Last Four speed-up triggers. The Conveyor will accelerate aggressively. Do not panic tap. Look closely at the top outer loops. You still have lingering White and Light Blue beads up there. Match them to your final active Boxes with precise taps to close out Beads Out Level 124.
