Beads Out Level 22 Guide: The Half Box Grid Trap
Beads Out Level 22 hits you with a nasty visual right from the start. You have a massive grid of Half Boxes blocking your view, and a cluster of grey Mystery Boxes lurking underneath. The dominant bead colors clogging the track early on are red, dark green, and yellow on the left loop. Peach, brown, and purple beads stack up heavily on the right.
The bottom Box placement is what makes this board so aggressive. You have an upper block of eight visible Half Boxes. Below them sits an asymmetrical U-shaped formation of seven Mystery Boxes. Two on the left. Two on the bottom. Three on the right. This board is entirely different from the easy early levels because you cannot plan your endgame. You are flying blind. You have to clear the top grid just to see what the game is hiding at the bottom. The catch? Your lower Dock only holds four slots. Fill it with the wrong colors, and your run is instantly over.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 22
Look at the layout in Beads Out 22. The Conveyor forms a wide hourglass shape. It joins at a single exit point directly above the four-slot Dock. A block of red beads sits right at the gate from the very first second.
Below the track, the Box stack acts as a pure bottleneck. The top row hands you a Yellow Half Box, a White Half Box, a Pink Half Box, and an Orange Half Box. Directly under that row, you see a Dark Green Half Box, a Light Blue Half Box, an Olive Green Half Box, and a Purple Half Box.
These look completely safe. They are actually a massive trap. Half Boxes only take half the normal number of beads to clear. That sounds like a gift. It is not. A Half Box still consumes one entire slot in your Dock. Buffer economy is everything here. When your Dock is full, your buffer is maxed out. If the Conveyor is pushing a massive chain of dark green beads at the gate, but your Dock is jammed with a Pink Half Box waiting on a single straggler bead on the back curve, the entire level collapses.
The left side of the Conveyor gets crowded first. You have long chains of dark green and orange pushing against that front red block. The right side is heavy with peach and brown beads.
The seven Mystery Boxes forming that U-shape at the bottom dictate your entire midgame. You cannot touch them until you clear out the visible Half Boxes on top. The moment you clear a path to one, your priority route changes. Your lower Dock placement forces you to play highly defensively. You need guaranteed empty slots before you go poking at a grey cube.
Beads Out Level 22 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact order. Space out your pulls. Keep your Dock flexible. Do not panic when the red beads sit idle at the front of the line.
Cracking the Top Half Boxes in Beads Out Level 22
The opening is an absolute mess. The track is blocked by red beads at the exit gate, but there is no red Box available to pull.
- Ignore the red beads at the gate for a second. You need to make space behind them.
- Tap the Yellow Half Box and the Orange Half Box from the top row to move them into the Dock.
- Feed the yellow and orange beads from the left and top sections of the Conveyor. Since they are Half Boxes, they clear fast. This immediately opens up two Dock slots again.
- Pull the Pink and White Half Boxes. Feed them from the top and right sides of the track.
- Do not touch any Mystery Box yet. The grey cubes are strictly bait right now. If you tap one and it reveals a color you cannot reach, your Dock is dead. You must clear the top eight slots first.
Surviving the Mystery Box Reveal in Beads Out Level 22
Once the top row is gone, the board finally opens up. You now have access to the second row of Half Boxes and the top edges of the Mystery Box trap.
- Pull the Purple Half Box and the Dark Green Half Box. Feed the dark green beads from the left loop.
- As the track shifts, a massive string of purple and dark blue beads rounds the left corner. Tap them to fill your Purple Box. Getting it to 50% immediately secures your board state and relieves track pressure.
- Now you can risk your first Mystery Box. Tap the top-right grey cube. It reveals a dark red Half Box. Pull it down.
- Leave the Light Blue and Olive Green Half Boxes exactly where they are. Do not pull them yet. They sit safely in the middle of the board. Their matching beads are too far back on the Conveyor. If you pull them early, they will hog your Dock and cause a jam.
- Start pulling the midgame full-sized Boxes into the Dock. You need the Dark Blue, White, Peach, and Purple ones. Keep tapping the dark blue and peach beads as they cycle through to the front. Only drop a new Box into the Dock when its exact color is less than an inch from the exit gate.
Beating the Last Four Rush in Beads Out Level 22
The end of Beads Out 22 speeds up drastically. Your jam risk moves from the front gate to the back loops as the final clusters clump together.
- Tap the remaining bottom Mystery Boxes. Clear out the bottom-left and bottom-right corners.
- Drop the Light Blue and Olive Green Half Boxes into the Dock at the exact same time. Their remaining beads are clustered tightly near the end of the track. Tap them through fast.
- When only four Boxes remain on the board, the Conveyor hits max speed. Spam tap the final red and purple beads to finish off the stragglers. The fast track will try to force a misclick. Keep your eyes glued to the exit gate and do not tap ahead of the line. Send the final blocks home.
