Beads Out Level 492 Guide: The Mystery Box and Crate Lock Trap
Beads Out Level 492 hits you with a crowded figure-8 Conveyor and a heavily obstructed lower board. The real threat here is not the bead color count. It is the physical space. You have a tiny four-slot Dock. Half of your available board is hidden behind three Mystery Boxes. A massive solid blue blocker takes up the right-middle grid. To make things worse, a Crate Lock stamped with a "3" traps the essential bottom-right corner.
You must control the feed. The Conveyor is completely stuffed at the start. Pink, olive green, light blue, and yellow beads choke the bottom loop. If you pull the wrong color too early, the beads will stack up, fill the track, and instantly jam your game. This specific board demands strict sequence discipline. You break the front row. You reveal the hidden boxes. You smash the lock. Do not deviate.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 492
Look closely at the initial layout. You have to understand exactly where every color sits before you make your first tap.
The Conveyor is a double-loop hourglass shape. The top two "horns" hold your late-game beads. The top-left horn traps a thick line of black/dark grey and dark blue beads. The top-right horn traps orange and pink beads. Ignore these completely. You cannot touch them until the main bottom loop clears out. The bottom loop holds your immediate targets: a massive block of yellow on the left, light blue and pink in the bottom center, and olive green on the lower right.
Now look at your Boxes. The Dock sits dead center with only four open slots. One Pink Box is already sitting there, waiting for beads.
Below the Dock, the board grid is a mess of traps and blockers:
- Row 1 (The Frontline): Dark Green, Purple, Red, and Light Blue Boxes. These are ready to move into the Dock the second a slot opens.
- Row 2: A Grey Half Box, a dark grey Mystery Box, a massive solid blue blocker that takes up two spaces, and a regular Dark Blue Box.
- Row 3: A Light Green Box, another Mystery Box, a Dark Blue Half Box, a third Mystery Box, and another Red Box.
- Row 4 and 5: The bottom is heavily restricted. A yellow pin blocks the left side. Bottom right holds the biggest trap on the board: a Crate Lock with a "3" on it. This lock sits directly on top of a Grey Box and completely blocks a lower Dark Blue Half Box. Another Dark Blue Box sits isolated in the bottom-left corner.
Your main problem is the right side of the board. That solid blue blocker forces the Red and Dark Blue Boxes into a tight bottleneck. The Crate Lock prevents you from merging your Half Boxes. You have to dig through the right side aggressively to open the board.
Beads Out Level 492 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this sequence exactly. One wrong tap on a heavy color like yellow or orange too early will fill your buffer and kill the run.
The Pink Opener and Frontline Clear in Beads Out Level 492
Your first moves must flush the center of the Conveyor and open the Dock.
- Fill the Pink Box. You have a Pink Box sitting at 0% in the Dock. Tap the pink beads directly above the Dock output. Send them in. Clear this immediately to drop your frontline.
- Load the Frontline. The Dark Green, Purple, Red, and Light Blue Boxes will slide up into the four Dock slots.
- Feed the Light Blue Box. Look at the bottom left of the Conveyor loop. Tap the light blue beads. This clears a massive chunk of the track and gets the Light Blue Box out of your way.
- Feed the Dark Green Box. Tap the olive green beads sitting on the bottom right of the loop. They will path straight into the Dark Green Box. You want to half-fill or completely clear this box to open a slot for the row below.
- Hold off on Purple. Do not pull purple beads yet. They are mixed higher up on the track. Focus on clearing the red beads just above the yellow stack on the left.
Breaking the Mystery Boxes and Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 492
Once you clear that front row, the board shifts. The three dark grey Mystery Boxes in the middle of the board will activate and reveal their true colors. They turn into Yellow and Tan/Beige Boxes. This changes your entire routing priority.
- Drain the Yellow. You now have a Yellow Box active from the Mystery Box reveal. Look at the left side of your Conveyor. You have a massive, unbroken line of yellow beads. Tap them fast. Clear that entire left curve in one motion.
- Attack the Right Side. You must create space around the solid blue blocker. Feed the Red Box sitting in the Dock. Pull the red beads from the left side of the loop.
- Chip the Crate Lock. The Crate Lock in the bottom right starts at "3". Every time you completely fill and clear a Box immediately next to it, the number drops. Focus on clearing the second Red Box and the nearby Green Boxes as they slide into position. Get that "3" down to a "2", then a "1", then break it completely.
- Clear the Tan/Beige Box. Feed the tan beads that were revealed by the second Mystery Box. They are sitting near the top of the main loop.
Merging the Half Boxes in Beads Out Level 492
The late game in Beads Out Level 492 is entirely about managing the Half Boxes trapped at the bottom. You cannot finish the board until these pieces merge.
- Bypass the Yellow Pin. Focus on the left side now. Once the Boxes above it clear, the yellow pin retracts. This frees the Light Green Box. Tap the bright green beads from the right side of the Conveyor loop to clear it.
- Merge the Grey Half Boxes. You have a Grey Half Box that started near the top left. Another is trapped near the bottom under the Crate Lock. Once you break the lock, the bottom grey piece slides up. They merge. Pull the dark grey/black beads trapped way up in the top-left horn of the Conveyor to fill this newly formed box.
- Merge the Dark Blue Half Boxes. Breaking the Crate Lock also frees the Dark Blue Half Box in the bottom right corner. It will slide up and merge with the Dark Blue Half Box sitting in the middle.
- Drain the Top Horns. With the main board open, look to the top left horn. Tap the remaining dark blue beads to finish your merged Dark Blue Box. Finally, tap the orange beads trapped in the top right horn to finish the remaining boxes. Keep your taps rhythmic and clean out the final loop.
