Beads Out Level 241 Guide: The Key-to-Chain Crate Lock
This board looks like a total mess when it drops. Beads Out Level 241 greets you with a massive steel chain stretched right across the middle of the screen. You cannot touch the bottom half of the board until that chain is gone. The dominant bead colors at the start are dark blue, brown, yellow, and green.
Look straight at the third row. That is your actual objective. You have a white Box holding a key icon. That key connects directly to a bright red Box right next to it. That bright red Box holds the literal padlock for the chain. The entire lower section of the board is completely dead space until you solve this exact sequence. It is a strict order of operations. You mess up the Conveyor management early, and you jam out before the chain ever drops.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 241
Let's break down the layout because the visual clutter here is a trap.
The top row acts as a shield wall. You have grey, green, cyan, dark red, and purple Boxes. Right below them in row two, you have yellow, peach, and brown Boxes. You must dig through these upper rows just to reach the third row where the actual puzzle begins.
Row three contains the critical path. The white Box holds the key. The bright red Box holds the chain lock. Next to them sit two Sealed Cubes labeled "500" and a cyan Box stacked on top of an ice block labeled "2". These icy barriers eat up physical space and block access to the bottom rows even after the chain breaks.
The middle of the board is entirely blocked by the chain. Underneath it, you have row five and six. Row five hides a dark blue Box, an orange Box, and another dark blue Box. The bottom row is heavily guarded. You will find another white Box, a cyan Box sitting on a "3" ice stack, and a row of dark grey Mystery Boxes.
Here is the immediate problem. Look at the bottom exit chute of your Conveyor. The left side feeds dark blue beads first. The right side feeds brown beads first.
Scan the top half of the board. There is no dark blue Box available. None. The dark blue Boxes are trapped under the chain in row five. This is the first major trap in Beads Out 241. You are forced to tap those opening dark blue beads straight into your lower Dock. This permanently burns one of your four Dock slots until you break the chain. You have to play the first half of this level with restricted space.
Another visual trap: Do not confuse the reds. The Conveyor feeds bright red beads on the left side. The top row has a dark red Box. The bright red beads belong strictly to the locked Box in row three. Dumping bright red beads into your Dock hoping they clear the dark red top row will instantly jam your game.
Beads Out Level 241 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You need tight control over your Dock to survive this. With one slot sacrificed to the dark blue beads immediately, you only have three active slots to play with. Do not pull beads off the Conveyor unless you have a guaranteed open Box waiting for them. The Conveyor has a wide mushroom-shaped loop. Beads take a long time to travel from the top ears down to the exit. Patience is required.
Breaking the Top Shield in Beads Out Level 241
Your first job is digging down through the top two rows to reach the key. The order you tap matters heavily because the Conveyor is packed tight at the exit.
- Tap the dark blue beads on the left side of the Conveyor. They drop into your Dock. Ignore them for now. You need them out of the way.
- Tap the brown beads on the right. They shoot straight into the brown Box in the second row. This clears the right side jam.
- Tap the purple beads on the right. They slide right into the top-right purple Box.
- Tap the cyan beads on the right. They clear the top-middle cyan Box.
- Switch back to the left side of the Conveyor. Tap the yellow beads. They fill the yellow Box in row two.
- Tap the green beads on the left. They hit the green Box in the top row.
Notice what this does. You cleared out the center and right side of the upper board. The white Box with the key is now completely exposed. The bright red Box with the padlock is also exposed. Do not touch the grey or dark red Boxes in the top row yet. Let them sit.
The Key and Chain Transition in Beads Out Level 241
Now the real mechanic kicks in. The entire midgame revolves around breaking that steel chain.
- Feed white beads from the Conveyor into the white Box. You have to wait for them to cycle down the track. Do not fill your Dock with junk colors while waiting. Let the Conveyor run.
- The white Box fills and clears. The key flies over and breaks the Crate Lock on the bright red Box.
- The bright red Box is now active. Funnel the bright red beads from the left side of the Conveyor straight into it.
- The bright red Box fills. The padlock snaps. The massive chain across row four drops completely off the board.
- The lower board is finally open. Look at row five. You have dark blue Boxes waiting.
- Flush the dark blue beads that have been sitting in your Dock since the start of the level. They fly into the newly opened dark blue Box. Your Dock is finally clear.
This sequence is the make-or-break moment. Regaining that lost Dock slot gives you the breathing room necessary to handle the bottom of the board.
Clearing the Mystery Boxes in Beads Out Level 241
The bottom two rows are ugly. The Sealed Cubes restrict your movement. The Mystery Boxes hide their required colors until the boxes next to them clear out.
- Hit the orange Box in row five. The Conveyor has an orange strip waiting right after the cyan beads.
- Clear the cyan beads into the cyan Boxes sitting on the ice stacks. This chips away at the "2" and "3" numbers on the ice blocks. You have to hit them multiple times to break the ice underneath.
- Start peeling away the Mystery Boxes. Once the dark blue and orange Boxes clear, the Mystery Boxes next to them reveal their true colors. Match them immediately. Do not let them sit.
- Keep hitting the Sealed Cubes with adjacent matches. The two "500" blocks in row three will eventually shatter, freeing up physical space in the dead center of the board.
- Drop the remaining grey, dark red, and peach beads into their respective Boxes. The grey beads finally come down from the top left of the loop.
- Once you are down to the final four Boxes, the speed-up triggers. The Conveyor hauls ass. Do not panic tap. You have the entire board open now. Just match the colors as they hit the exit chute. Keep your Dock clear and you beat the level.
