Beads Out Level 118 Guide: The Walled Red Key and Crate Lock Trap

Beads Out Level 118 is a massive headache if you tap blindly. The board layout is a crowded mess. You have four rows of highly mixed containers. The bottom Box placement forces you into a very tight sorting order. The dominant bead colors pushing down the track early are grey, light pink, orange, and light green. You cannot just grab whatever color looks close.

This specific board hits you with two major logic traps right away. First, there is a Red Key sitting on a Light Green box. That key is completely walled off on the right side of the screen. Second, you have a rigid Crate Lock chaining a Bright Pink box to a Dark Blue box right in the bottom center. Easy levels let you clear from top to bottom. Beads Out 118 requires you to surgically remove middle boxes to dig out the mechanical triggers hiding at the bottom. The four-slot Dock gives you almost no room for error. One wrong tap fills your buffer. You die.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 118

Look closely at the initial setup. The Conveyor forms a massive, twisting hourglass shape. It is stuffed with beads. The bottom horizontal track holds a long strip of light green, followed by orange, light pink, and a massive tail of grey beads. This bottom section hits the drop point first.

The left side of the Conveyor is stacked heavily with red, bright green, pink, and more orange. The right side holds dark brown, dark blue, dark purple, cream, and dark green. At the very top of both sides, you see black beads stamped with question marks. These are Mystery Boxes waiting to drop down and ruin your color counting.

Now look at your targets. The board holds four dense rows. Top row gives you Light Orange, Bright Orange, Dark Purple, and Dark Green. These look safe. They are traps. Do not touch them yet. Row two holds White, Grey, Light Pink, and Light Blue.

Row three is where the real puzzle starts. You have a Bright Pink box here trapped by a metal arch. This is a Crate Lock. It chains down to the Dark Blue box in row four. You also have two Light Green boxes sitting next to each other in row three.

The most critical part of the board is the bottom right. A literal wall sections off a Light Green box holding a Red Key. You need that key. Why? Because sitting in the bottom row is a dark grey patterned Sealed Cube trapped under a heavy red padlock. Next to that locked cube is a blue box marked with a large '4'. You cannot touch that dark grey Sealed Cube until you feed the key box. The arrangement of the lower Dock means you must clear the center of the board first to even reach the walled-off section.

Follow this exact sequence. Order is everything on this specific layout. You must manage the Conveyor flow perfectly to keep your Dock slots open.

First Moves That Set the Route

Your opening taps dictate whether you win or choke. You must clear the immediate traffic jam at the bottom of the hourglass.

Pull the Bright Orange box from row one down to the Dock.
Pull the Light Pink box from row two.
Pull the Grey box from row two.
Let the bottom track feed into them. Send the orange, light pink, and grey beads straight down. The grey string is incredibly long. It will fill that Box completely and clear it off the board.
Ignore the Light Orange and Dark Purple boxes on the top row. The matching beads for those colors are stuck way up high or hidden behind the Mystery Box tracks. Touching them now burns a Dock slot permanently.

Mid-Level Board Control

Once the grey and light pink beads clear out, the board physically opens up. The left and right tracks start sliding down. Now you must break the chains and grab the key.

Attack the Crate Lock. The left track pushes a line of pink beads down. Drop the Bright Pink box (from row three) into your Dock. Fill it. This shatters the metal link. The Dark Blue box in row four is now free to move later.
Dig out the right side. You have two Light Green boxes in row three blocking the wall. Drop them both into the Dock. Feed them the light green beads coming down the track.
With those blockers gone, the path to the right side is clear. Tap the Light Green box holding the Red Key.
Feed that key box. Once it fills, the Red Key physically flies over and opens the red padlock on the dark grey Sealed Cube at the bottom.
Watch the top tracks. The black Mystery Box beads will begin rolling down the Conveyor. As they hit the lower curves, they reveal their true colors. In this specific seed, they heavily push light blue and light orange/peach beads.
Pull the Light Blue box (row two) and Light Orange box (row one) into the Dock to catch these newly revealed bead strings. You will notice these boxes hit a 50% state. They act as Half Boxes requiring a second wave of beads to completely clear. Leave them in the Dock to catch the rest.

Closing the Last Boxes Fast

The board is mostly empty now. The jam risk moves from the bottom track to the straggling colors up top.

Deal with the bottom row instantly. Drop the freshly unlocked dark grey Sealed Cube into the Dock. Feed it the dark grey patterned beads rolling down the right side.
Drop the blue '4' box next to it.
Clear the Dark Blue box that you freed from the Crate Lock earlier. Send the heavy line of dark blue beads from the right track straight into it.
The game speeds up significantly when only four Boxes remain. You will be left with straggler colors like White, Dark Green, and Dark Purple.
Watch the final bead clumps. Do not pull a Box down until its matching bead color is physically at the drop chute. The speed increase will punish you if you pull the Dark Purple box while the white beads are falling. Match the drop exactly. Clear the remaining boxes to finish the board.
