Beads Out Level 404 Guide: The Orange Buffer Trap

Start hard. Level 404 hits you instantly with a nasty capacity problem. Look at the Conveyor. The exit gate is completely jammed with a massive block of orange beads. Now look at the playable area. There is no orange Box available to catch them. You have to dump those orange beads straight into your lower Dock just to get the board moving.

This specific layout is unforgiving. You have pegs eating up empty space on the left side of the grid. You have three Half Boxes sitting right in the top row. The dependency chain is brutal. If you do not plan your exact sequence of taps, the central loop will stall, and you will wipe within twenty seconds.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 404

Let's break down the exact grid sitting in front of you. The top row is a wall of partials and blockers. From left to right, you have a pink Half Box showing 50%, an olive green Half Box stuck at 0%, another pink Half Box at 50%, a dark blue Box, and a red Box.

The Conveyor is split into a central loop and two outer feeder lanes. The central loop holds your immediate threats. Behind that initial wall of orange beads, the track holds blue, green, pink, yellow, and purple. The left feeder lane is stacked heavily with grey, green, and dark blue. The right feeder lane holds yellow and orange.

The real puzzle sits lower in the grid. Check the third row down on the far right. There is a yellow Box trapped under a blue Crate Lock. You cannot sort any yellow beads until that lock breaks. The key to that lock rests on a dark purple Box in the bottom left corner, buried under a standard green Box and a peg.

This board also hides three Mystery Boxes. One is directly below the light blue Box, another is on the right side of the fourth row, and the last is buried in the bottom center. A light grey box marked with a "3" sits in the bottom right corner. Do not touch the outer lanes yet. If you pull from those outer feeder lanes too early, the central loop will jam.

Beads Out Level 404 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Execution requires strict discipline. Do not tap colors just because you see them. Follow this exact order to break the central loop and reach the key.

  1. Tap the orange beads at the front of the Conveyor loop. Send them into the lower Dock. They will take up crucial slots, but you have no other option to start the flow.
  2. The blue beads are now at the gate. Tap them to fill the dark blue Box located in the top right. This clears your first full container off the board.
  3. The green beads slide forward next. You have a green Box available in the third row on the left side. Tap the green beads to fill it.
  4. Pink is up next on the Conveyor. Send the pink beads into the top-left pink Half Box.
  5. Yellow beads sit at the gate now. Stop. You cannot sort yellow yet because the yellow Box on the right side has the Crate Lock. Buffer the yellow beads into the remaining space in your lower Dock.
  6. Send the purple beads into the dark purple Box in the bottom left. This collects the blue key and instantly shatters the Crate Lock on the yellow Box.
  7. Now that the yellow Box is open, pull the buffered yellow beads from your Dock to fill it. Your buffer space is finally clear.
  8. Send the olive green beads into the olive Half Box in the top row.
  9. The grey beads are at the gate. Fill the grey Box situated in the center of the grid.
  10. With the center loop thinning out, the outer lanes will begin dropping their stock. Prioritize the new green and blue beads feeding in from the left track.

Surviving the Initial Buffer in Beads Out Level 404

This opening sequence is a tightrope walk. You have exactly four slots in your lower Dock. The orange beads demand the first slots immediately. This is pure bait for amateur players. If you panic and tap the outer lanes, you fill the Dock and fail instantly.

You must ignore the left and right feeder tracks entirely during the first phase. The entire goal is to reach that purple Box. The dark blue and green clears are strictly stepping stones to dig down the left column. Notice how the vertical pegs on the left side of the board restrict the grid shifting. When you clear a Box in a normal level, everything above it slides down neatly. Not here. The pegs act as rigid barriers, creating dead zones. You have to thread the needle to get the right colors past these static blockers.

Breaking the Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 404

Once the purple beads hit the dark purple Box, the board state shifts aggressively. The blue key flies across the screen and breaks the lock on the right side. That yellow Box is finally playable. This is your escape valve.

Emptying the buffered yellow beads out of your Dock gives you breathing room. You absolutely need that space. The central loop will start pulling heavily from the side lanes now. The left lane starts dropping grey and green beads into the main traffic flow. The right lane starts dumping more yellow and orange.

Now you can attack the Mystery Boxes. Treat these as high-risk targets. Do not hit a Mystery Box unless you have at least two empty slots in your lower Dock. You have no idea what color will pop out. If it spits out a color you cannot immediately match to an open container, it will sit in your Dock and choke your throughput just like the orange beads did at the start.

Clearing the Bottom Rows in Beads Out Level 404

The endgame forces you to deal with the bottom right corner. That grey box with the "3" acts like a sequential blocker. You have to clear the items around it to manipulate its position or fulfill its requirements. Focus on the red Box at the top right first. It has been sitting there useless since the start. You need the red beads from the right feeder lane to finally drop into the main loop to clear it.

Once the top rows are empty, the remaining containers shift into the center. The game accelerates. This is the Last Four speed-up. Keep your eyes locked on the Conveyor exit. Sort the light blue and light grey beads as soon as their matching containers slide into accessible slots. Do not let the track stall. Clear the final Mystery Box only when you have a guaranteed out for whatever color it reveals, and push through the remaining sequence to finish the board.
