Beads Out Level 217 Guide: The Double Key Bottleneck

Beads Out Level 217 throws a massive roadblock at you right from the start. You have a dense five-row grid of Boxes sitting below a tight, hourglass-shaped Conveyor. The problem is not the bead colors. The problem is the lock placement.

You need to clear a path to two specific keys. A Brown Box in the second row holds a Gold Key. A Light Blue Box in the third row holds a Light Blue Key. Below them, an Orange Box and a Dark Blue Box are chained shut with Crate Locks. To make matters worse, a bulky grey Mystery Box with a 7-count sits on the left side, eating up grid space and blocking access to the lower layers. You only have four slots in your upper Dock. Send the wrong beads up early, and you jam the board permanently. This is a strict order-of-operations puzzle.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 217

Look at the layout before you tap anything. The Conveyor has a wide upper loop and a narrow lower funnel. Beads are going to pile up at the bottom exit fast.

Right at the exit chute, you have a short string of Yellow beads, followed by Light Orange, then Dark Blue.

Now look at your Boxes. The top row is completely exposed. Left to right, you have Yellow, Light Orange, Pink, and Red.

Row 2 holds the first major objective. The Brown Box on the left has the Gold Key. You need to clear the Yellow Box above it to reach it. Next to the Brown Box is a Light Green Box, a Dark Blue Box, and a Light Yellow Box.

Row 3 introduces the pain. The far-left space is consumed by the Mystery Box showing a 7. You have to clear adjacent Boxes to drop that number. Next to it is a Red Box, and on the far right is the Light Blue Box holding your second key.

Row 4 contains the traps. An Orange Box is secured by a Gold Crate Lock. A Dark Blue Box is secured by a Light Blue Crate Lock. You cannot fill these until you process the keys from rows 2 and 3.

Row 5 at the very bottom holds Dark Green, Red, Olive Green, and Orange. Ignore these entirely for the first half of the level. They are late-game cleanup.

Your biggest early threat is the Dark Blue bead chain sitting right near the Conveyor exit. You have a Dark Blue Box in row 2, but it is blocked. If you tap the Dark Blue beads too early, they go straight to your Dock and steal a valuable slot.

Beads Out Level 217 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Control the exit funnel. Keep the Dock clear. Follow this exact sequence to break the keys out of the upper rows.

Breaking the First Row in Beads Out Level 217

The opening moves are forced. You have to clear the top left to grab the first key.

  1. Tap the Yellow beads sitting right at the bottom of the Conveyor. They will flow perfectly into the top-left Yellow Box. This removes the first barrier.
  2. Tap the Light Orange beads right behind them. They fill the center-left Light Orange Box in the top row.
  3. Stop. Dark Blue beads are now at the exit. Do not tap them. You do not have an open Dark Blue Box yet. Look at the left side of the Conveyor. You have a chain of Brown beads moving down.
  4. Tap the Brown beads. Since the Yellow Box is gone, the Brown Box in row 2 is active. The beads will fill it.
  5. The Gold Key flies out and shatters the Gold Crate Lock on the Orange Box in row 4. Your first major choke point is clear.
  6. The grey Mystery Box counter will drop because you cleared the Yellow and Brown Boxes next to it.

The Light Blue Key Push in Beads Out Level 217

Now shift your attention to the right side. You need the Light Blue Key buried in row 3.

  1. You still have Dark Blue beads blocking the exit. Your Dark Blue Box in row 2 is blocked by the Pink Box in row 1. You must send the Dark Blue beads to the Dock. Tap them. They will take up one slot. This is necessary to keep the Conveyor moving.
  2. Wait for Red beads to reach the exit. Tap them to fill the top-right Red Box.
  3. With the Red Box gone, the Light Yellow Box in row 2 is open. Find Light Yellow beads on the Conveyor and tap them.
  4. The Light Blue Box in row 3 is now exposed. It holds the Light Blue Key.
  5. Tap the Light Blue beads coming down the left lane. They fill the Box. The key flies over and destroys the Light Blue Crate Lock on the Dark Blue Box in row 4.
  6. Remember those Dark Blue beads sitting in your Dock? Now that the top rows are clearing out, your second Dark Blue Box is accessible. Those beads will automatically drop down and fill it, clearing out your Dock.

Managing the Mystery Box and Finish in Beads Out Level 217

The board is wide open now. The keys are spent. The locks are gone. Your only remaining obstacle is that massive grey block on the left.

  1. Focus on the colors immediately touching the Mystery Box. You have a Red Box in row 3 and an Orange Box in row 4 right next to it.
  2. Clear the Red Box using the heavy clump of red beads on the left side of the Conveyor. The Mystery Box counter ticks down again.
  3. Clear the Orange Box using the orange beads arriving from the top loop.
  4. Once the counter hits zero, the Mystery Box vanishes. In Beads Out Level 217, this usually reveals one final hidden color underneath, often a Brown or Grey Box. Fill whatever color it reveals immediately.
  5. The board will now shrink to the bottom row. You have Dark Green, Olive Green, and another Red Box left.
  6. The game speeds up here. The Conveyor moves faster when only four Boxes remain. Do not panic tap. Wait for the heavy string of Dark Green beads on the upper left to swing down. Clear them.
  7. Finish off the Olive Green and final Red Boxes to complete the level. Stay patient on the last four. You have plenty of track space left to wait out the right colors.
