Beads Out Level 406 Guide: The Double Crate Lock Trap

Beads Out Level 406 is a masterclass in track reading and patience. Look at the left feed. It is completely choked with a massive stack of orange beads. Your instinct is going to be to deal with that orange threat immediately. Do not touch it. If you pull the orange Box early, you die. It is that simple.

The dominant colors choking the Conveyor are orange on the left, and a messy mix of brown, white, bright green, and red in the central looping track. The bottom board layout is where the real puzzle lives. You have four wide-open Boxes sitting cleanly at the top of the play area: bright green, purple, pink, and white. Below them, a maze of grey pegs with blue rings blocks access to the lower layers. Worse, the right side features two nasty Crate Locks. A dark green Box is locked to a brown one. A yellow Box is locked to a red one.

This board is significantly harder than the previous dozen levels because the central track is pushing red and dark green beads right toward the dump spout, but the Boxes you need to catch them are literally chained together. You have to manage a very tight four-slot Dock while breaking those locks. Throw in the yellow-and-black striped hazard zone in the bottom right corner, and you have a board that requires a flawless sequence.

Treat the Conveyor like a ticking clock. The grey beads are actively spilling out of the funnel right now. That means slot one in your lower Dock is already spoken for. Let it fill. Do not panic about the grey.

Trace the track backward from the funnel. Right behind the falling grey beads, the central loop holds a block of red, preceded by bright green, preceded by white. Behind the white is a section of olive-brown. That is your immediate hit list. The left side of the track gets crowded first, but it is effectively frozen. The massive orange block cannot move until the light blue beads underneath it clear out. The light blue beads cannot move until the central loop empties. Therefore, the left side of the board is completely dead to you during the opening phase.

The most common colors on the board are orange and that dark green/olive tone scattered through the middle. The trap on this board is the orange Box sitting safely on the middle left. It looks totally free. It has no pegs directly on top of it. You can click it right now. If you do, it drops into your Dock, sits there entirely empty because the orange beads are jammed at the very top of the track, and steals 25% of your matching capacity.

The early clears change everything here. The top row of open Boxes—bright green, purple, pink, white—are your keys to unlocking the board. Clearing the bright green and white beads from the central loop gives the red and dark green beads room to slide forward. Your Dock arrangement must stay aggressively empty to handle the locked pairs coming up.

Focus entirely on the central loop and the top row of open containers. Your goal is to clear the immediate track backlog so the right-side feed can drop.

Surviving the Central Loop in Beads Out Level 406

The opening sequence is strictly dictated by the central track. You cannot improvise here.

Let the grey finish. The grey beads are actively dumping. Do nothing until that grey container in your Dock is full and disappears. You need all four slots empty for the next phase.
Pull the white and bright green Boxes. Tap the white Box and the bright green Box from the top row. The central track is pushing white and bright green beads forward right now. Loading these two clears a massive chunk of the middle loop.
Ignore the left side. Continue to ignore the orange Box and the yellow Box on the left. They are bait.
Prepare for the red beads. As the green and white beads clear, the red beads slide right up to the funnel. Look at the right side of the board. The red Box is trapped in a Crate Lock with a yellow container.

Breaking the Crate Locks in Beads Out Level 406

This is where Beads Out Level 406 ruins runs. You must break the chains without flooding your Dock.

Pull the red/yellow Crate Lock pair. Tap the chained red and yellow containers. They will both drop into your Dock, eating two precious slots.
Drain the red beads. The red beads from the central loop will pour into the red container. Once it fills and clears, the chain breaks. The yellow container is now sitting in your Dock, taking up one slot. Leave it there. It is safe for now.
Pull the dark green/brown Crate Lock pair. Right behind the red beads on the track is a section of dark green. Tap the locked dark green and brown containers on the right side of the board. Again, they eat two slots. Your Dock is now holding the leftover yellow, plus the dark green, plus the brown. You have one slot left.
Drain the dark green. The dark green beads fill their container and clear. The lock breaks. You are left with a yellow container and a brown container in the Dock.
Hit the top right open Boxes. Look at the right-side feed on the Conveyor. It is pushing purple, pink, and tan beads down into the loop. Tap the purple Box and the pink Box from the top row. They will cycle out the incoming right-side feed.

Clearing the Left Side and Hazard Zone in Beads Out Level 406

The board finally opens up. The central loop is clear, meaning the massive left-side stack can finally drop.

Clear the light blue. The light blue beads at the bottom of the left feed will slide into the funnel. Tap the corresponding dark blue/blue container from the bottom left to catch them.
Unleash the orange. The giant orange block is finally moving. Now, and only now, tap the orange Box on the middle left. It will fill immediately and clear the entire left track.
Attack the striped grid. The yellow and black hazard area in the bottom right is now accessible. The Conveyor will be feeding tan and dark green-grey beads from the tail ends of the tracks.
Match the final remnants. Pull the tan and dark olive containers from the hazard grid to catch the final beads. Keep your Dock organized. Do not pull a container from the striped zone unless you see its exact color approaching the drop funnel.

Follow this exact sequence. Keep the orange trapped until the end, break the chained pairs methodically, and the board easily collapses.
