Beads Out Level 290 Guide: The Dual Key Drop and 250 Sealed Cube Labyrinth

Beads Out Level 290 is a hostile board. You start staring at a massive traffic jam. The dominant bead colors looping around the center are green, red, orange, purple, pink, and yellow. But the real problem is the bottom box placement. The lower grid is shaped like a jagged letter G, and half of it is completely inaccessible at the start.

This is not a standard speed-clearing stage. Look at the left side. It is completely locked down. You have a green Box trapped under a red Crate Lock, a blue Box, a freezing 250 Sealed Cube, and another green Box under a blue Crate Lock. You cannot force your way through that side. This exact layout requires a strict clearing order. The keys to those locks are buried on the right side. If you pull the wrong boxes into your lower Dock early, you will jam your board and fail within the first thirty seconds.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 290

Treat this board as two separate zones. The left column is dead space. The right and middle columns are your active workspace.

At the very top of the box grid, you have three boxes sitting horizontally: magenta, purple, magenta. Below the middle purple box sits a vertical column stacked with red, orange, red, and yellow Boxes.

Over on the right side, you see your primary targets. A blue key sits directly on top of a grey Box. Below that, a red key sits on a brown Box. These keys are your only way to break the Crate Locks on the left. Surrounding these key boxes are four dark, patterned Mystery Boxes. You do not want to pull those patterned boxes down to the Dock too early because their required colors are hidden.

The Conveyor layout makes this puzzle incredibly tight. The inner loop feeds heavy clusters of green, red, orange, and purple beads. The two outer arms of the track are the real danger. Both the left and right outer arms are plugged at the top by dark grey question mark beads. Behind those blockers, the left arm holds blue and white beads. The right arm holds black, pink, and yellow beads.

Because the outer arms are blocked by mystery beads, any Box requiring those trapped colors is a massive risk. If you pull the blue Box from the left column into your Dock early, it will just sit there taking up one of your four precious slots. You cannot reach the blue beads yet. The lower Dock placement demands absolute discipline. You must only pull boxes that match the freely moving beads on the inner Conveyor loop.

Beads Out Level 290 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Your entire strategy revolves around reaching the right side of the board. You need those keys. Everything else is secondary.

Ignoring the Left Side Bait in Beads Out Level 290

1. Leave the left column alone. Do not tap the locked green Boxes. Do not tap the blue Box sitting next to the 250 Sealed Cube. You cannot clear them.
2. Hit the top center. Your first actual move is the purple Box sitting between the two magenta boxes in the top row. Pull it down to the Dock.
3. Feed the purple box. The inner Conveyor loop has a massive line of purple beads ready to go. Send them in. Clearing this single purple Box opens up the middle column.
4. Clear the middle column aggressively. Once the purple box is gone, tap the red Box right below it. Feed it the red beads currently cycling the inner loop.
5. Keep digging down. Pull the orange Box next. The inner loop has plenty of orange beads. Clearing this middle column gives you visual and physical access to the right side of the board.

Triggering the Key Drops in Beads Out Level 290

Now the board opens up. You have exposed the key boxes. The right lane is safe to play, but order still matters.

1. Target the brown box. The red key is sitting on the brown Box. Pull the brown Box into your Dock.
2. Wait for the right beads. You will notice brown beads finally feeding into the flow (as seen in the midgame). Fill the brown Box completely.
3. Deploy the red key. The second the brown Box leaves the Dock, the red key automatically flies over to the top-left green Box and destroys the red Crate Lock. The top left is now playable.
4. Target the grey box. Now pull the grey Box holding the blue key.
5. Feed the grey box. Use the grey beads coming down the Conveyor. Once filled, the blue key launches across the screen. It smashes the blue Crate Lock on the bottom-left green Box.

Shattering the 250 Sealed Cube in Beads Out Level 290

The left side of the board is finally free. The dual Crate Locks are gone. Now you face the massive ice block holding the number 250.

1. Clear the green boxes. Both the top and bottom green Boxes on the left are wide open. The inner Conveyor loop is packed with green beads. Pull both green Boxes to the Dock and fill them fast to free up track space.
2. Unplug the outer arms. By now, the inner loop is thinning out. You need to pull the dark patterned Mystery Boxes from the bottom right. Dropping them into the Dock allows you to feed them the dark mystery beads plugging up the top left and top right outer Conveyor arms.
3. Flood the board. Once those outer arms clear, the trapped blue, white, black, and pink beads spill into the main loop.
4. Break the cube. The 250 Sealed Cube shrinks as you clear beads from the board. Every bead sent to a Box counts toward that 250 total. Keep pulling the remaining blue, yellow, and light blue Boxes. Keep feeding them.
5. The Last Four speed-up. When you get down to the final four Boxes, the Conveyor accelerates. Do not panic. You have cleared the main blockers. Just match the remaining colors pouring out of the newly opened outer arms to finish the stage.
