Beads Out Level 246 Guide: The Curtain Mystery and Sealed Cube Trap
Beads Out Level 246 throws a massive structural problem at you right from the start. You have a divided lower board, a physical barrier, and blind spots. The dominant bead colors jamming up the front of the track are light green, cyan, and orange. You cannot just tap whatever matches the top row. You need a strict order of operations to survive.
Look at the bottom of the board. The left side houses a massive red curtain Mystery Box demanding 8 beads. The right side holds a blue Sealed Cube requiring 3 clears to shatter. Separating them is a yellow physical barrier acting as a Crate Lock. You cannot reach the lower right side until you dismantle the left side. This board is drastically different from standard levels because you are forced to play asymmetrically. You have to ignore half the board while meticulously feeding the other half.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 246
This setup is a trap for impatient players. Your Dock only holds four slots. The top row of Boxes gives you five targets: Dark Green, Pink, Pink, Light Green, and Pink again.
The Conveyor is highly segmented. Front and center, blocking everything else, is a huge cluster of light green beads. The left track is dominated by cyan and pink beads. The right track holds a long snake of orange, red, yellow, and grey beads. Dark green is trapped way up the right side.
Here is the exact problem. The cyan beads on the left have no immediate Box. The orange beads on the right have their Box buried in the second row. If you blindly tap cyan or orange right now, they will sit in your Dock and rot. Your buffer economy will collapse.
You must focus on the left side of the lower board. The red curtain Mystery Box is the anchor of the left lane. Above it sits a stack of Grey, Yellow, and Brown Boxes. The yellow bar Crate Lock connects directly to this left structure. Clearing the top rows allows the left stack to shift, which eventually drops the barrier and opens up the red and dark red Boxes on the right.
The Sealed Cube on the bottom right is entirely dead weight right now. Treat it like a wall. Your sole objective in the early game is surviving the top-row traffic jam to reach the curtain.
Beads Out Level 246 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact order. Deviating will jam your Dock and end the run.
The Opening Sequence in Beads Out Level 246
You have to clear the immediate logjam on the Conveyor without filling your four bottom slots with unusable colors.
- Send the Light Green. Tap the light green cluster at the bottom center of the track. Send it straight into the Light Green Box sitting fourth from the left in the top row. This clears the intersection.
- Handle the Pink. With the center clear, the left track advances. Tap the pink beads. You have three Pink Boxes in the top row. Fill them. This pulls the left side of the track down drastically.
- Ignore the Cyan. You will see cyan beads on the left. Leave them alone. The cyan Box is nowhere in sight.
- Route the Orange and Red. Now look at the right track. The second row of Boxes has an Orange and a Red Box. Since the top row is thinning out, you can bring these forward. Tap the orange beads, then the red beads.
- Clear the Dark Green. The dark green beads were stuck at the top right of the Conveyor. Bring them down now to fill the top-left Dark Green Box. The entire first row is now gone.
Cracking the Mystery Box in Beads Out Level 246
The board shifts. You are now fighting in the middle rows. The yellow barrier is still blocking the right side, so you must aggressively target the left side.
- Clear the Yellow and Grey. The second row is fully exposed. Tap the yellow and grey beads from the right track. Fill their respective Boxes.
- Expose the Curtain. Clearing the middle rows pulls the red curtain Mystery Box up into a playable position. It needs 8 beads.
- Feed the Mystery Box. The curtain will reveal its color requirement. Match the exact color from the Conveyor. Tap fast. You need to dump 8 beads into this thing to get it off the board.
- Drop the Crate Lock. The moment the curtain Mystery Box clears, the physical structure on the left collapses. The yellow bar barrier drops away. The right side of the board is finally accessible.
Smashing the Sealed Cube in Beads Out Level 246
The transition into the late game completely alters the mechanics. The board speeds up.
- Manage the Half Boxes. As the mid-game hits, your Dock gets flooded with Half Boxes. You will see Dark Blue, Grey, White, and Cyan boxes drop in, already showing 50% full. Finish them off immediately. Use the cyan beads you ignored at the very start.
- Clear the Dark Red and Red. The right side of the board is open. Route the dark red and red beads from the updated Conveyor to clear the Boxes sitting just above the glass trap.
- Break the Sealed Cube. The Sealed Cube on the bottom right has a "3" on it. You need to complete three adjacent color matches or direct impacts to shatter the glass. Route your remaining dark brown, blue, and purple beads down the track. Prioritize fills that happen right next to the cube.
- Empty the Track. Once the glass breaks, the final Box inside is freed. Send the last remaining beads on the Conveyor to wrap up the board. Keep your taps precise and do not let the final colors bottleneck at the bottom curve.
