Beads Out Level 546 Guide: The Red Key and Left-Column Trap

The board for Beads Out Level 546 is a masterclass in claustrophobia. Your eyes will naturally get drawn to the wide open right side of the board, but that is a massive trap. The entire puzzle hinges on the heavily fortified left column.

This specific layout is dominated by a stubborn sequence of blockers. You have a green Box right in the dead center wearing a red Crate Lock. The key to that lock? It sits on a green Box buried at the absolute bottom left of the grid. Worse, sitting right above that key is a brutal numbered blocker starting at '7' with a purple requirement panel. In easy levels, you can just pull top row boxes and wing it. On Beads Out Level 546, if you do not actively dig down the left side immediately, you will run out of Conveyor space and fail. You have to feed exact colors to the left column while ignoring the easier grabs on the right.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 546

You start with a light pink Box already sitting in the first slot of your four-slot Dock. The Conveyor is completely packed. Notice the top feed horns. The left horn is pushing black and light pink beads. The right horn is pushing black and orange beads. If you let the Conveyor run without making matches, those black beads will flood the main loop and choke your board.

Look at the main grid. The top row gives you a red, a blue, and a white Box. These look like easy early targets, but they are just cover.

Row 2 holds the first real obstacle: a light pink and green Half Box link. You must clear this link to open up the center of the board.

Row 3 is where the headache starts. You have a green Box with a red Crate Lock. Right next to it sits a numbered block showing a '7' and a purple side panel. This block is a multi-stage sequential blocker. When you feed it a purple bead, the number drops to '6' and the panel changes color (it turns pink next). You must continuously match the requested color to break this block down.

Row 4 features a unique orange target box and some standard dark blue and red boxes.

Row 5 holds your primary objective. On the far left, under a mountain of junk, sits the green Box holding the red key. On the far right of row 5, there is another Half Box link connecting a dark purple and a yellow Box. Leave that bottom right link alone until the very end of the game. If you pull those two halves into your Dock early, you lose half your buffer capacity.

Beads Out Level 546 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You must control the Conveyor flow tightly. The initial inner loop has a cluster of light pink, dark purple, and green beads perfectly positioned near the exit pipe. Use them immediately.

Breaking the Top Layer in Beads Out Level 546

Your opening taps dictate the rest of the game. Do not touch the white Box on the top right.

  1. Fill the light pink Box that starts in your Dock. Tap the light pink beads sitting right at the Conveyor exit. This gets your first Box off the board and prevents a jam.
  2. Pull the red Box and the blue Box from the top row into your Dock.
  3. Feed the red and blue beads from the inner loop into those boxes. You have a nice cluster of blue beads on the top right of the inner loop and a solid strip of red beads right below them.
  4. Now grab the light pink Box from the left side of row 2. Since it is half of a Half Box link, getting it into the Dock and filling it is mandatory. Use the light pink beads feeding down from the top left horn.
  5. Pull the green half of that row 2 Half Box link. Fill it with the green beads circulating on the left side of the inner loop.

Fetching the Red Key in Beads Out Level 546

With row 2 gone, you are staring at the '7' block and the red Crate Lock. The board opens up slightly, but the left lane is still totally blocked.

  1. Attack the numbered block. It starts with a purple panel. Tap a single purple bead from the inner loop to hit it. The number drops to '6' and the panel turns pink. Tap a pink bead. Continue this process. You must babysit this block and feed it exactly what it asks for.
  2. Pull the grey Box from row 2 into the Dock to get it out of the way. Fill it if you have grey beads, but keep your focus on the left side.
  3. Once the numbered block clears, pull the orange target box from row 4.
  4. You finally have access to the bottom left corner. Pull the green Box holding the red key into your Dock.
  5. Fill that green Box using the dark green and mossy green beads circulating on the right side of the Conveyor.
  6. Watch the red key fly up and open the Crate Lock on the middle green Box.

Clearing the Bottom Dregs in Beads Out Level 546

You just broke the back of the level. The middle is open. Now you need to manage the final clean-up without causing a late-game jam.

  1. Pull the newly opened green Box from the center. Fill it immediately.
  2. Clear the middle column boxes. You have a light orange and a yellow Box sitting there. Pull them and fill them using the beads feeding down from the top right horn.
  3. Deal with the final Half Box link on the bottom right. It connects a dark purple and a yellow Box. Pull them both into your Dock.
  4. Feed the dark purple beads from the initial inner loop (if any remain) or wait for them to cycle. Fill the yellow half using the top loop supply.
  5. Once the game hits the last four boxes, the speed increases. Prioritize matching short strings of beads to quickly clear out the remaining blue, white, and red boxes on the right side. Do not let the black beads fill the loop during this final sprint. Send them into empty space to keep the belt moving if necessary, but focus on filling your active boxes.
