Beads Out Level 282 Guide: The Red Curtain and Sealed Cubes

Beads Out Level 282 hits you with a massive roadblock right at the start. A giant red curtain locked with a "5" completely covers the middle-right section of your board. You cannot see what is under it. You cannot click what is under it. This Crate Lock dictates your entire opening strategy.

Look at the Conveyor. The track forms an hourglass shape. Two long vertical feed tubes pour beads in from the top. Both of those tubes are choked with black Mystery Boxes. Below that, you have a heavy concentration of light grey, green, light yellow, and cyan beads waiting on the bottom loop.

Your bottom Dock only holds four Boxes. You have zero room for error. The exposed Boxes on the left side include Yellow, Purple, Red, Green, Cyan, White, Dark Blue, and Dark Green. At the very bottom, sitting on concrete pedestals, you have a Brown Box on a '4' block and a Pink Box on a '5' block. These are Sealed Cubes. You cannot move them until you make enough clears to tick those counters down to zero.

This board is brutal because you have to blind-clear five Boxes just to open the right side of the map, all while black Mystery Boxes slide down the tubes toward your main loop. If you pull the wrong Box to the Dock early, the mystery beads will jam your limited space. You must play the visible colors first.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 282

Do not just start tapping. Read the bead snake. The bottom left arc of the hourglass holds a long chain of light grey beads followed by green. The bottom right arc holds light yellow followed by cyan. These four colors are your immediate priority.

Check your exposed Boxes on the left and center. Top row gives you Yellow, Purple, Red, Green, and Cyan. The second row offers White, Dark Blue, and Dark Green. Below that, tucked in the middle, you have a Light Yellow, Blue, and Grey Box.

Here is the trap. You might look at the top row and want to pull that Purple Box immediately. Do not do it. The purple beads are sitting at the pinch point of the hourglass, halfway up the track. If you pull Purple first, you have to wait for the green, grey, yellow, and cyan beads to pass the gate. You will waste Dock space.

Your eyes should be on the green and light grey beads on the left, and the light yellow and cyan beads on the right. Notice the red curtain again. The gold medal says "5". You need five completed Boxes to drop that wall. Every Box you fill and clear removes one number from the curtain lock.

The Sealed Cubes at the bottom are a secondary threat. The Brown Box sits on a 4. The Pink Box sits on a 5. Every action you take ticks those numbers down. By the time you drop the curtain, those bottom cubes will be nearly ready to open. Leave them alone until the midgame.

Beads Out Level 282 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You need a precise sequence to survive the opening. Control the Dock. Feed the exact colors sitting at the exit gate.

Dropping the Curtain in Beads Out Level 282

Your first goal is absolute. Clear five Boxes using the beads on the lower half of the hourglass. You must drop the red curtain before the Mystery Boxes flood the lower track.

  1. Tap the Green Box (top row, fourth from left). Send it to the Dock. Let the green beads from the bottom left track fill it.
  2. Tap the Light Yellow Box (third row down, far left). Let the yellow beads from the bottom right track fill it.
  3. Tap the Light Grey Box (third row down, center right). The grey beads from the bottom left will drain into it.
  4. Tap the Cyan Box (top row, far right of the exposed section). The cyan beads on the right track will fill it.
  5. Tap the Purple Box (top row, second from left). Now the purple beads at the pinch of the hourglass have reached the exit. Fill it.

Five clears. The red curtain instantly vanishes. The right side of your board is now exposed.

Managing the Sealed Cubes in Beads Out Level 282

The board completely changes here. The red curtain is gone. You can now see the hidden Boxes. Look at the track. The black Mystery Boxes from the vertical feeds have now pushed into the main hourglass loop. They will start revealing their colors as they hit the curves.

  1. Watch the newly revealed beads from the top left feed: brown, cyan, grey. Watch the top right feed: purple, yellow, dark grey.
  2. Pull the newly exposed Boxes from behind the old curtain area to match the descending solid colors.
  3. Check your Sealed Cubes. The Brown Box block has dropped from 4 to 3. The Pink Box block has dropped from 5 to 4. Keep clearing normal Boxes to tick these down to zero.
  4. Keep one slot in your Dock open at all times. As the Mystery Boxes flip over and reveal random colors, you must react instantly.
  5. Pull the Orange Box and Red Box from the lower-left section when their matching beads appear from the mystery pile.

Do not let the track stop moving. If a long chain of white beads appears from a Mystery Box, immediately grab the White Box from the second row.

The Last Four Speed-Up in Beads Out Level 282

When only four Boxes remain, Beads Out 282 triggers the speed-up. The track moves faster. Your Sealed Cubes at the bottom are now at zero. The Brown and Pink Boxes are finally playable.

  1. Pull the Brown Box to the Dock. The brown beads from the left feed tube are circling the track. Fill it quickly.
  2. Pull the Pink Box. Grab the pink beads from the remaining track.
  3. Pull the Light Yellow Box and the White Box resting on the left side.
  4. Clear the final purple beads from the right side of the loop.

Stay focused on the speed. Tap the final Boxes the exact second their colors pass the exit gate. Clear the Dock and finish the board.
