Beads Out Level 549 Guide: The Red Curtain and Crate Lock Wall

Beads Out Level 549 is a claustrophobic nightmare if you panic early. The board design forces you into a corner. You start with a massive S-curve Conveyor that feeds into a single central drop point. Space is your biggest enemy here.

Look at the lower grid. The dominant feature is a giant Red Curtain blocking the entire bottom-left center, stamped with a big number 6. That curtain is a massive roadblock. To its right, you face a brutal vertical wall of three Crate Locks. Light Purple on top. Dark Blue in the middle. Dark Brown on the bottom.

The bead feed is totally out of sync with your accessible Boxes. The left arm of the Conveyor pushes heavy clumps of Purple, Orange, Light Blue, and Magenta. The right arm drops Brown, Tan, and Yellow. You cannot just tap blindly. If you fill your four-slot Dock with colors you cannot immediately clear, you will jam the level before you even touch the Red Curtain. This board requires strict Conveyor control. You have to pull the exact Boxes you need, break the right-side locks, and starve the S-curve so the board opens up.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 549

Treat the center of this board like a trap. The S-curve Conveyor fills up incredibly fast. Because both the left and right feeds push beads into the same looping snake, the pressure builds at the bottom exit chute.

Your starting Box grid is dense and heavily restricted. The top row gives you access to Yellow, two Silvers, a Tan, and a White Box. Sitting on the far right of that row is the first Crate Lock clamping a Light Purple Box.

The second row holds Olive Green, Bright Green, Red, Teal, and Light Pink. The far right has the second Crate Lock on a Dark Blue Box.

Row three is where things get weird. You have an Orange Box with a swap arrow, the massive Red Curtain blocker, an Olive Green Box with a swap arrow, and the final Crate Lock on a Dark Brown Box.

Below all of this sits the bait. Two Pink Boxes sit dead bottom under the curtain. Two Blue swap Boxes sit on the lower right. Do not obsess over the Pink Boxes. They are completely unreachable until that Red Curtain is gone. If you pull Pink beads down the Conveyor too early, they will sit in your Dock and kill your run.

The right side of the Conveyor snake is where the jam risk is highest. You have a long chain of Yellow, Dark Green, Brown, and Tan beads. Since the matching Boxes for these colors are mostly open on the top row, you need to clear them fast. The left side is clogged with Purple and Orange. Your priority is breaking the Light Purple Crate Lock so you can open up the right flank.

Once you clear the early garbage and drop the Red Curtain, the board identity changes entirely. The level hits you with a massive wave of Half Boxes. These 50% capacity containers drop into your Dock and force you to clear fast.

Beads Out Level 549 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

This is a precision routing challenge. Do not let the S-curve dictate your pace. You control the board by pulling the right Boxes to the Dock.

Breaking the Top Row in Beads Out Level 549

Your opening moves dictate the entire run. The leading beads at the conveyor exit are Purple, Orange, and Light Blue.

  1. Ignore the top row of accessible Boxes for the first few seconds. You need to clear the leading beads choking the Conveyor exit.
  2. Tap the Orange swap Box on the middle left. Feed the leading Orange beads into it.
  3. Next, locate a Light Blue Box. Wait, there is no Light Blue Box immediately visible in the top rows. This means Light Blue is going to sit on the belt. Let it pass or buffer it if absolutely necessary, but prioritize matching what you see.
  4. Focus on the right side feed. You have Yellow, Brown, and Tan beads coming down. Tap the Yellow Box from the top left. Tap the Tan Box from the top right. Feed those chains immediately to clear space on the snake.
  5. The moment you clear the Yellow and Tan, grab the two Silver Boxes. You need them out of the way to expose the middle rows.
  6. Do not pull the Pink or Bright Green Boxes yet. The beads for them are buried too high up the left arm.

Demolishing the Crate Locks in Beads Out Level 549

With the top row thinned out, you must attack the right wall. The three Crate Locks are choking your board space.

  1. The top Crate Lock holds a Light Purple Box. A huge chain of Light Purple beads is sitting on the upper left arm of the Conveyor. Let them flow down the snake.
  2. As soon as the Light Purple beads reach the bottom exit, tap the Light Purple Box to break the Crate Lock and fill it.
  3. This exposes the Dark Blue Crate Lock underneath. Look at the lower snake. You have a small cluster of Dark Blue beads mixed between Orange and Magenta.
  4. Carefully route the Orange and Magenta beads into their respective Boxes (pull the Magenta Box if needed) to isolate the Dark Blue chain.
  5. Tap the Dark Blue Box. Break the lock. Fill it.
  6. Now hit the Red Curtain. You need to clear the adjacent Boxes or feed it the required hits to drop the '6' counter to zero. Use the Olive Green swap Box next to it to shift the board and create openings.

Surviving the Half Box Rush in Beads Out Level 549

Once the Red Curtain falls and the right wall is gone, the board transitions. The bottom Pink and Blue Boxes are finally exposed.

  1. Do not celebrate yet. The game starts dropping Half Boxes straight into your Dock. You will see Tan, Bright Green, Dark Green, and Pink Half Boxes demanding 50% fills.
  2. The Dock arrangement is volatile now. A Half Box fills fast, but it still takes up a full slot until it clears.
  3. Prioritize the Dark Green and Bright Green Half Boxes. There is a massive solid chain of Dark Green beads on the left side of the upper snake. Tap the Dark Green Half Box, feed it instantly, and get it out of the Dock.
  4. Pull the bottom Pink Boxes up. Feed them the Pink chains rolling down from the top left feed.
  5. Address the Blue swap Boxes last. Hitting them will shift the remaining containers, but since the board is mostly empty, the risk of trapping yourself is gone.
  6. As the Last Four speed-up kicks in, ignore the noise. Keep your eyes on the single exit chute and tap the remaining Boxes in exact color order to finish the board.
