Beads Out Level 17 Guide: The Deep Column Blocker

Beads Out Level 17 is a brutal sequence puzzle. You face a massive traffic jam right from the start. This is strictly a buffer-management level. If you spam taps, you die quickly. The dominant colors clogging the early game are Red, Dark Green, Beige, and Orange.

The bottom layout is the real nightmare. The Boxes are stacked in deep, irregular columns. You cannot reach the colors you actually need because they are buried three or four layers deep. Easy levels give you a wide, flat row of choices. This board forces you through a narrow vertical choke point. You must plan your exact sequence. One wrong pull from the lower Dock bricks the entire run.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 17

Look at your main Conveyor. It forms a massive central O-ring. Two outer tracks feed directly into the sides. The left outer track is a solid wall of Red beads leading into a long line of Orange. The right outer track pushes a thick block of Pink beads followed by Blue.

The central loop starts already packed. The top holds Beige beads. The right side stacks Orange above Brown. The bottom right curve holds Grey. The bottom left holds a heavy chunk of Dark Green. The left side features Pink topped with Red. This layout means the bottom of your loop will stagnate if you do not clear Dark Green and Grey quickly.

Now check the lower Dock. The Boxes are not in a clean grid.

  • The top accessible row gives you three immediate targets: Red, Dark Green, and Beige.
  • The left side drops into a recessed notch holding a single Pink box. Way down at the bottom left sits an isolated Grey box.
  • The middle column is a straight vertical chute. It stacks Dark Green on top of Beige, which sits on Orange, which sits on another Dark Green.
  • The right side is a mess. It stacks Beige over Blue. A Brown box sticks out to the right of the Blue one. Below the Blue is another Orange, followed by a bottom Dark Green.

This stack dictates your entire route. The Grey box is completely inaccessible early on. The Grey beads circling the bottom right of the Conveyor are pure bait. Ignore them. If you try to force plays around colors buried at the bottom of the right columns, the central loop fills up. The outer arms stop feeding. Game over.

The Real Trap in Beads Out Level 17

The single biggest failure point on this board is choking your active slots with mid-tier colors.

You only have four active slots to fill Boxes. The trap springs when you clear the top Red box and immediately pull up the Pink box from the left notch. Pink beads are stuck on the right outer feed track. They cannot enter the main loop until the center clears out. If you pull that Pink box too early, it sits empty. It burns one of your four slots.

Meanwhile, your other three slots are stuck trying to clear Dark Green and Beige. The central Conveyor fills with Orange and Grey beads that have no matching active box. The board freezes completely. You must leave that fourth slot open. Keep your buffer free until the specific beads you need are actively circulating in the central O-ring.

Beads Out Level 17 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact dependency chain to break the columns and keep the loop moving.

First Moves That Set the Route

Your opening sequence must clear space in the central ring immediately.

  1. Tap the Red, Dark Green, and right Beige Boxes to move them into the active slots. Leave the fourth slot totally empty.
  2. Tap the Dark Green beads clustered at the bottom left of the center loop. Fill the Dark Green box to about 80%.
  3. Tap the Red beads on the left side of the loop. They will drop into the Red box.
  4. Tap the Beige beads at the top of the loop.
  5. The left outer track will now dump its heavy load of Red beads into the center. Tap them immediately to finish the Red box.

The Red box clears the board. You now have a critical breathing room slot open. Do not touch the Pink box yet.

Mid-Level Board Control

The board transition happens now. The middle column exposes a second Beige box. The right side exposes a Blue box and a Brown box.

  1. Bring up the second Beige box from the middle column. You need to dig down to the Orange boxes buried beneath it.
  2. The right outer track is finally dumping Pink beads into the center loop. Now you can safely bring up the Pink box from the left notch. Tap the Pink beads to clear it fast.
  3. The right side of the central loop has a cluster of Brown beads. Bring up the Brown box from the right edge and clear it immediately.
  4. The central loop is now heavily populated with Orange beads from the left track and Blue beads from the right track. Bring up the Blue box. Fill it.
  5. Bring up the top Orange box from the middle column. Start feeding it the Orange beads streaming in from the left arm.

The jam risk moves to the bottom right of the loop. Grey beads have been circling this whole time. Keep ignoring them. Focus entirely on clearing the Blue and Orange boxes.

Closing the Last Boxes Fast

You are approaching the end. The bottom of the Dock holds a Grey box, two Dark Green boxes, and an Orange box.

  1. Once the top layers are gone, bring up the Grey box. Tap the Grey beads that have been haunting the bottom right of the loop.
  2. Bring up the remaining Orange and Dark Green Boxes.
  3. When exactly four Boxes remain, Beads Out 17 triggers the Last Four speed-up.
  4. Let the speed-up do the work. The remaining beads on the outer arms will sprint into the center. Keep your eyes on the feed. Tap the matching chunks as soon as they hit the main O-ring.

Do not leave the Grey box for the absolute last move. If a stray Grey bead gets stuck behind a long chain of Dark Green, you waste precious seconds waiting for the loop to cycle. Clear Grey the second it becomes accessible.

If This Level Still Fails

You pulled a box before its beads were in the center loop. That is the only reason this board jams. If you accidentally pull the Blue box before the right feed arm drops Blue beads, you will brick the level. If you are totally locked with four half-full boxes and no matching beads on the belt, pop a +1 Extra Slot. Pull a box that perfectly matches a massive cluster in the center ring. Clear it, restore your buffer, and never pull a box early again.
