Beads Out Level 138 Guide: Copper Key and Locked Orange Box Trap
Beads Out Level 138 is a massive traffic jam. You look at the lower board and immediately see the problem. A copper key sits trapped in the bottom right corner. A red Crate Lock holds the center orange Box hostage. Large zipped bags hide the middle rows. A massive 250-count light blue Sealed Cube blocks the top left. You cannot just tap matching colors and hope to survive. You need a surgical strike down that right side.
The Conveyor throws a ton of colors at you early. You have red, blue, brown, bright pink, light pink, purple, and grey all cycling in the central loop. You have to ignore most of them. If you start clearing boxes randomly, the upper feeder arms will dump black Mystery Box beads into the mix. The loop will choke. The board will freeze. This guide will show you exactly how to bypass the trash and break the level wide open.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 138
Read the layout before you touch the screen. The Conveyor is a large central "O" loop fed by two upper branches. The left branch pushes brown and light blue beads. The right branch pushes bright pink and light green beads. Behind both of those active feeds? Thick stacks of black Mystery Box beads waiting to ruin your run.
Look at the Dock. Four slots. That is your entire safety net for the entire round.
Now look at the main puzzle area. The top row gives you access to the light blue Sealed Cube, an open white Box, and an open brown Box. Below them, you have playable blue, purple, green, and bright pink boxes. Dead center sits the orange Box, completely frozen by the red Crate Lock. To the right of the center sits a grey Box chained down by a metal padlock.
The real trap here is the right column. You see a clear vertical stack. Bright pink on top. Green below that. Red below that. Light pink at the absolute bottom. The copper key rests on that bottom light pink Box. You must dig straight down this specific column. If you waste your early clears stripping the left side, the top feeder arms will dump the black Mystery Box beads into the main loop. You will run out of space.
This board also features the Half Box mechanic. Certain boxes will jump to your Dock at 50% capacity and sit there until you clear their matching twin. You must factor this into your Dock economy. Keep it clean.
Beads Out Level 138 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact order to clear the board without jamming the main loop.
First Moves That Set the Route
- Burn the right column. Start with the bright pink Box on the far right. Tap the bright pink beads cycling through the bottom of the central loop. Pull the bright pink beads from the right feeder branch. Clear it out completely.
- Take the green. With the bright pink box gone, the green Box in the right column is exposed. The loop has plenty of green waiting. Send them in.
- Clear the red. You are digging a vertical hole straight to the key. Pull the red beads from the top of the loop.
- Grab the key. The light pink Box is now open. Fill it using the light pink beads currently stuck on the right side of the Conveyor loop. Once filled, the copper key flies up and shatters the red Crate Lock on the orange Box.
- Bleed the left side. While you were digging right, your left feeder branch was pushing brown beads down hard. Clear the top-right brown Box to make room. This pulls the brown chain out of the upper left arm and keeps the lane from jamming.
Mid-Level Board Control
The board completely changes once that orange Box is free.
- Manage the Half Boxes. You will start seeing boxes jump up to the Dock marked "50%". You will likely get a brown, a bright pink, and a grey Half Box early in the mid-game. Leave them alone for a second. Never pull a color that will create a fourth Half Box in your Dock. If you fill all four slots with 50% boxes, you have a hard lock and fail the level.
- Open the zipped bags. You have large zipped bags sitting right in the center of the grid. Clear the purple Box and the newly freed orange Box. Clearing adjacent spaces forces those bags to unzip. This exposes the hidden boxes underneath and opens up the middle of the board.
- Break the grey padlock. The grey Box on the right has a metal padlock. Crack this by clearing the boxes touching it. Focus your clears on the yellow Box or whatever emerged from the zipped bag next to it.
- Feed the Mystery Box beads. The black beads with question marks are now dropping into the central loop. Tap them as soon as you have an open, matching Box on the lower board. Do not let them pile up in the bottom curve of the Conveyor. Get them out of the traffic flow instantly.
Closing the Last Boxes Fast
The final phase requires strict speed. You still have that giant 250-count light blue Sealed Cube sitting in the top left. You can chip away at it whenever you have a free second, but now is the time to burn it down.
- Chop down the bottom rows. You have a white box with a "2" on it at the bottom center. This requires two adjacent clears to break open. Clear the red and light blue boxes sitting next to it. Crack it open to access the very bottom row.
- Merge the Half Boxes. As you expose the lower half of the board, you will find the matching halves for the brown, bright pink, and grey boxes currently clogging your upper slots. Fill their bottom-board counterparts to merge them. This frees up your Dock space for the final sprint.
- Drain the Sealed Cube. Once the lower junk is gone, focus entirely on the light blue Sealed Cube. It needs a massive 250 beads. Just hold down or rapid-tap every single light blue chain that spawns from the left branch. Beads Out Level 138 will speed up drastically once you get down to the last four boxes. Keep your rhythm fast, clear the remaining stragglers, and finish the board.
