Beads Out Level 262 Guide: The Red Curtain and Mystery Box Blockade

Beads Out Level 262 is a claustrophobic nightmare. The board limits your early moves to a painfully tight grid, and the bottom half is completely hijacked by massive obstacles. You are looking at a heavy concentration of dark blue, red, pale yellow, and green beads on the belt. The real problem is the bottom Box placement.

A giant Red Curtain dominates the bottom right corner. It starts with a countdown of 15. A Light Blue Sealed Cube requiring 550 matches anchors the bottom left. Between these two massive roadblocks, you have a solid wall of four Mystery Boxes choking the middle rows.

Most easy levels give you open space to cycle colors. This board does not. You start with only four playable boxes at the top, and one White Box already stuck on the Dock at 0%. If you pull the wrong color down early, the Conveyor will jam. You must play this in a strict sequence to survive.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 262

You need to know exactly where the traps are before you tap a single bead. Look at the layout.

The Dock has four slots. The first slot is already occupied by an empty White Box.

The main grid is an absolute mess. Row 1 holds a Brown Box, an empty gap, a Light Blue Box trapped under a green Crate Lock, and a Pink Box. Row 2 is your first major hurdle. It contains a dark grey Mystery Box, a Dark Green Half Box, a Light Green Half Box, and another dark grey Mystery Box. Row 3 features a Red Box, two more Mystery Boxes, and an Orange Box with a '5' countdown timer. Row 4 holds the massive Light Blue Sealed Cube (550) on the left and a Purple Box next to it. Row 5 has a Beige Box and a White Box tucked in the bottom left corner.

Columns 3 and 4 of the bottom two rows are completely hidden behind the Red Curtain (15).

Now look at the Conveyor. The bottom chute is loaded with pale yellow and greyish-white beads. The left curve is holding a massive block of dark blue beads, followed tightly by red, grey, and white. The right curve is stacked with yellow, orange, green, and light blue.

The trap here is the left lane. That massive snake of dark blue beads looks tempting. Do not touch it. You do not have an open dark blue Box on the grid. If you pull those dark blue beads early, they will fill your Conveyor limits and end the game instantly. You must clear the bottom chute first.

Beads Out Level 262 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact order to break the board open. The priority is clearing the bottom chute, managing the blind boxes, and keeping the Dock empty.

Cracking the Opening Chute in Beads Out Level 262

The opening sequence requires precision. You have a White Box on the Dock. Use it.

  1. Tap the greyish-white beads at the very bottom of the Conveyor chute. Send them straight into the waiting White Box on the Dock.
  2. Pull the Brown Box from the top left corner down to the Dock.
  3. Feed the pale yellow beads from the bottom chute into the Brown Box. This gets the lowest blockage out of the way.
  4. Drop the Orange Box (the one with the '5' on it) from the right side of the third row.
  5. Tap the tight strip of orange beads on the right side of the Conveyor to clear that countdown timer and eliminate the box.
  6. Ignore the red beads on the left side of the belt. The Red Box is visible, but pulling it now clogs the Dock while you still need to sort out the middle of the board.

Clearing the Mystery Box Minefield in Beads Out Level 262

Once the bottom chute is clear, the middle of the grid becomes your primary target. The four Mystery Boxes are blocking your access to the lower levels.

  1. Pull exactly one Mystery Box down to the Dock. Never pull two at the same time. You cannot afford to guess wrong and lose two Dock slots.
  2. Look at the color revealed by the Mystery Box. Find the matching beads on the Conveyor—likely green, yellow, or pink based on the right-side feed—and fill it immediately.
  3. Drop the Dark Green Half Box and the Light Green Half Box to the Dock. These will merge into a single green Box. Fill it using the green beads feeding down the right side of the belt.
  4. Continue pulling the remaining Mystery Boxes one by one. Clear them as fast as possible to open up the center grid.
  5. Start feeding the Light Blue Sealed Cube (550). Whenever light blue beads roll past the chute, tap them. You need to chip away at this massive number constantly. Do not wait until the end of the game to start filling it.

Surviving the Final Curtain in Beads Out Level 262

By the middle of the level, the board shifts. The White and Brown boxes will likely sit at 50% capacity on your Dock. The Red Curtain countdown will drop to 7. The Conveyor will now push a heavy wave of dark blue and green beads.

  1. The Crate Lock on the top Light Blue Box will open once the surrounding boxes are cleared. Pull this Light Blue Box down immediately. You need it to absorb the light blue beads before they pile up and cause a jam.
  2. Now you can finally pull the Red Box. Tap the large block of red beads on the left side of the Conveyor to clear it out.
  3. Keep cycling boxes to drop the Red Curtain counter to zero. Every cleared box removes a number.
  4. When the Red Curtain lifts, the hidden boxes in the bottom right corner will appear. Move them to the Dock matching the heavy dark blue flow now dominating the left side of the belt.
  5. Finish off the Light Blue Sealed Cube with the remaining light blue beads from the top curve to clear the board. Watch your Dock space. With only four slots, a single misclick on the final blue beads will kill your run. Keep the flow steady and only pull what you can immediately fill.
