Beads Out Level 488 Guide: The Crate Lock Trap

Beads Out Level 488 is a bottleneck nightmare. The board throws a massive Crate Lock chain horizontally across the lower middle of the grid, sealing away half your options. You start with a single beige Box pre-loaded into the left slot of your lower Dock. The dominant bead colors clogging the main loop are dark green, yellow, purple, and blue.

The real trap is the immediate bead feed. The main Conveyor exit sits directly in the bottom center. The beads waiting at the very front are yellow on the left and dark green on the right. Look at your available Boxes. The yellow Boxes are trapped at the very bottom of the board, heavily guarded behind the chain and a numbered blocker. If you tap the yellow beads at the start, they will flood the Conveyor and instantly brick your run. You must route entirely around the left side of the feed and pull exclusively from the right.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 488

Look closely at the initial setup. Your top layer of accessible Boxes includes light blue, a bright green Half Box, purple, a dark green Half Box, and brown. Underneath this top layer, the board is littered with grey Mystery Boxes and heavily guarded lower tiers.

The right side of the main Conveyor loop feeds in a very specific order: dark green, white, light green, dark blue, and brown. Your left feeder track holds a chain of black beads, then bright green. Your right feeder track holds olive green, then light green. Neither of these side tracks will move a single inch until you clear significant space on the main central loop.

The key to shattering the Crate Lock sits attached to a red Box on the far right side of the board, sitting in the third row down. It is blocked by a brown Box and a bright green Half Box. Your entire early game revolves around digging down that specific right column. Do not waste Dock space grabbing random colors. You only have four slots down there, and one is already taken by the beige Box. A single bad tap on a color you cannot finish will choke your board and force a restart.

Beads Out Level 488 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact order to clear the top layer, break the chain, and manage the dangerous Conveyor flow.

Breaking the Chain in Beads Out Level 488

The opening sequence requires absolute precision. Ignore the entire left side of the Conveyor exit. The yellow beads are bait. Leave them alone.

  1. Tap the dark green Half Box located near the top right center. Drop it into your Dock.
  2. Tap the dark green beads sitting on the right side of the Conveyor exit. They will flow down, fill the Half Box, and instantly clear it off the board.
  3. This single move exposes a short string of white beads on the right side of the loop. Tap them. They will funnel directly into the beige/white Box that started in your Dock. That Box is now full and clears out.
  4. You now have open Dock space. Look at the right column blocking your key. Drop the brown Box into the Dock.
  5. Wait for the brown beads cycling around the top right of the main loop. Tap them once they are clear of traffic.
  6. With the brown Box gone, grab the bright green Half Box beneath it. Drop it into the Dock.
  7. Tapping the bright green Half Box pulls the bright green beads from the left feeder track. This finally gets the left side of the board moving.
  8. The red key Box is now exposed. Drop it into the Dock. Feed it the red beads currently sitting in the middle-left of the main loop. This shatters the Crate Lock.

The Midgame Crush in Beads Out Level 488

The board completely transforms once the chain snaps. The bottom rows are exposed, granting you access to pink, more red, purple, dark blue, orange, and a cluster of grey Mystery Boxes.

  1. The Conveyor will start pulling aggressively from the right feeder track. Olive green beads will dump into the main loop. Grab the olive green Half Box sitting on the left side (row 5) and clear these beads immediately before they clog the exit.
  2. Prioritize the newly freed purple and light blue Boxes. Drop them into the Dock and feed them the heavy strings of purple and blue beads taking up space on the left side of the main loop.
  3. Attack the Mystery Boxes with extreme caution. These grey blocks only reveal their required color once they hit the Dock. Never drop a Mystery Box unless you have at least two empty slots in your lower area. If it reveals a color buried deep on the Conveyor, you need the extra slots to work around it.
  4. Drop the orange Box sitting right in the center column. Feed it the large orange cluster cycling through the middle of the track.
  5. Work your way down to the bottom right corner. You will see a dark grey blocker box with a '4' on it. You must clear the adjacent Boxes to force this blocker off the board. Grab the light blue and purple Boxes sitting near it to open this corner.

Cleaning the Final Loop in Beads Out Level 488

The ending phase demands strict inventory control. You finally have access to the bottom row.

  1. The yellow Boxes at the very bottom are now playable. Tap them into the Dock.
  2. Send in the massive cluster of yellow beads you purposely ignored at the very beginning of the level. This will clear a huge section of the main loop.
  3. Process the remaining Mystery Boxes. With the main track mostly empty, any color a Mystery Box demands will cycle to the exit within seconds.
  4. Clear the final dark blue and green strings. Once the board drops to four remaining Boxes, the game speed increases. Sort the remaining feeder track beads to finish the level.
