Beads Out Level 454 Guide: The Double Crate Lock Trap
Beads Out Level 454 hits you with a massive figure-8 track and a wildly asymmetrical bottom Dock. This board is a brutal test of order and discipline. You cannot just tap matching colors and hope for the best. Two massive Crate Locks sit right in the middle of the board, restricting your access to the deep bottom rows.
The dominant bead colors choking the bottom exit are pink, light green, and dark green. Meanwhile, the left and right loops of the track hold isolated pockets of orange, purple, and brown beads. You have to clear the bottom curve first. If you pull beads from the upper loops too early, you will jam the exit and fail. This board is different from earlier, easier levels because of the specific trap on the right side. A reinforced metal plate holds a block of light blue and red Boxes, completely isolating them from the rest of the puzzle until you break the left-side dependencies. You need a strict plan.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 454
Look at the shape of the Conveyor. It is a tight figure-8 loop. The bottom curve is completely jammed with a long string of pink beads, followed immediately by light green and dark green beads. This is your immediate bottleneck. Every bead on the upper left loop (orange, pink, purple) and the upper right loop (purple, olive green, orange, brown, dark green) is stuck until you drain the bottom curve.
Now look down at the Dock. The top four active slots are completely empty, waiting for you to pull Boxes up. Right below them sits your first accessible row: Pink, Light Green, Olive Green, Dark Green, and Brown.
These look like easy targets. They are not. The real threats are the two Crate Locks buried in the third and fourth rows.
- Lock 1: An Olive Green Box and a Pink Box are bound together by a metal Crate Lock.
- Lock 2: Directly below that, a Light Green Box and a Dark Blue Box share a second Crate Lock.
You cannot touch the deep bottom row (Beige, White, Orange) until you physically break these locks. The right side of the Dock features a hazard-striped metal plate holding Purple, Light Blue, and two Red Boxes. This section is a dead zone early on. You will ignore it completely until the midgame.
The biggest trap in Beads Out Level 454 is the orange and brown bead distribution. The track has chunks of orange and brown trapped high up on both sides. If you pull the top row Brown or second row Brown Boxes too early, you will drag unwanted beads down into the central intersection, jamming the flow. Draining the bottom curve is your only safe opening play.
Beads Out Level 454 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact order. The Crate Locks dictate everything you do in the first two minutes.
Breaking the Crate Locks in Beads Out Level 454
Your opening moves must ruthlessly clear the bottom curve of the Conveyor. Do not look at the top loops.
- Pull the first Pink Box from the top left of the Dock up into an active slot.
- Tap the massive chunk of pink beads at the bottom left curve of the track. Fill that Pink Box immediately to get it off the board.
- Pull the Light Green Box into an active slot.
- Feed it the large chunk of light green beads sitting right next to the exit.
- With the pink and light green beads gone, the dark green beads will slide down. Pull the top row Dark Green Box and fill it.
- Now attack the first Crate Lock. Pull the locked Olive Green and Pink Boxes into the active slots. The lock will break because they are now active.
- Fill the Pink Box using the beads sliding down from the left loop. Fill the Olive Green Box using the beads sliding down from the right loop.
- Move directly to the second Crate Lock. Bring up the Light Green and Dark Blue Boxes. Break the lock and fill them using the fresh beads dropping into the bottom curve.
Surviving the Half Box Wave in Beads Out Level 454
Once you smash the locks and clear the middle rows, Beads Out 454 radically changes the board state. Four Half Boxes (Red, Beige, Purple, Red) marked at 50% capacity will suddenly drop into the active slots. This is the hardest transition in the level.
- Do not spam taps. Half Boxes require exact bead counts. If you send a long chain of red beads into a 50% Red Box, it will overflow, bounce back onto the Conveyor, and cause an instant jam.
- Look at the right side hazard plate. The Red Boxes there are now exposed. Pull them up to replace any cleared Boxes.
- Carefully tap the red beads sliding down from the upper right loop to fill the 50% Red Half Boxes exactly to the brim. Let the rest of the red beads flow into the standard Red Boxes.
- Clear the purple beads on the left loop into the 50% Purple Half Box.
- Clear the beige beads into the 50% Beige Half Box. Take it slow. Watch the capacity numbers tick up.
- With the Half Boxes gone, the track will speed up. The massive chunk of brown beads trapped high on the right loop is finally free to drop. Pull up the remaining Brown Boxes from the second row and clear them out.
The Hazard Plate Finish in Beads Out Level 454
You are now in the final stretch. Only a few deep Boxes remain, and the Conveyor is running fast.
- Pull up the Light Blue Box from the metal hazard plate. Feed it the light blue beads currently dropping from the right side of the figure-8 intersection.
- Bring up the deep bottom row. You have Beige, White, and Orange Boxes left.
- Fill the Orange Box first. The left loop has a massive, isolated chunk of orange beads that has been sitting there since the start of the level. Clear it now to empty the left track entirely.
- Finish the level by filling the Beige and White Boxes with the final alternating beads on the track. Keep your taps precise, hit the exact colors as they cross the bottom exit, and the board will clear.
