Beads Out Level 642 Guide: The Blue Key Crate Lock

This board wants to choke your Conveyor early. It is an incredibly tight, unforgiving puzzle. The dominant colors are red, light orange, dark blue, and light pink. The real threat here is the massive Crate Lock chaining the entire middle section of the grid. You start with four empty slots in the lower Dock, but zero room for errors.

Easy levels let you grab any color and brute-force the stream. Beads Out Level 642 forces a strict, rigid order of operations. The key you need is buried. The beads you want are stuck behind the wrong colors. If you pull the wrong Box to the Dock, the three converging bead streams jam up instantly. Game over. You have to play this in an exact sequence.

Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 642

Look at the layout right now. The top row holds a dark green, light pink, red, light blue, and brown Box. They look completely accessible. Ignore them for now. Pulling them too early will flood your Dock with colors that the Conveyor isn't ready to dispense.

The left side is your actual priority. Notice the second row down on the left. A light orange Box sits directly on top of a red Box. Look closely at that red Box. A blue key rests on top of it. You need that key. It is the only way to smash the heavy Crate Lock stretching across the center rows.

The Conveyor itself is a brutal U-shape with three distinct streams feeding into a single bottom exit chute.

  • The right stream is heavy with red, light blue, and pink beads.
  • The left stream pushes white, light orange, and tan beads.
  • The inner loop is stacked with dark blue and purple beads.

The trap is obvious once you see it. The right stream is pushing red beads to the exit gate first. But the red Box you actually want—the one holding the blue key—is buried under that light orange Box. You cannot reach it yet.

Below the chain, things get messy. Dotted Boxes form a perimeter around an orange directional Booster in the lower left-center. The bottom corners hide completely isolated boxes: a dark green Box on the far left and a blue Box on the far right. These are late-game targets. Forget they exist for the first two minutes. Your entire early game revolves around reaching that blue key.

Beads Out Level 642 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this sequence exactly. Do not pull boxes just because they are open. Keep your eyes on the exit gate of the Conveyor.

Cracking the Chain in Beads Out Level 642

You have to manipulate the bead streams to dig out the key.

  1. Grab the top-center red Box. The right side of the Conveyor is shoving red beads at the exit gate right at the start. Dock this top red Box immediately. It bleeds off the pressure and keeps the right stream moving.
  2. Pull the light orange Box. This is the one in the second row on the left. With the right stream temporarily flowing, the left stream will finally push its light orange beads forward. Dock the box to catch them. Do not touch the tan or dark green boxes near it. They are strictly bait to fill your Dock.
  3. Dock the key-holding red Box. It is finally exposed. Send it to the Dock. Once it lands, the blue key triggers automatically. It flies across the board and shatters the Crate Lock. The entire middle section of the board just opened up.

Clearing the Center Trap in Beads Out Level 642

The chain is gone. The middle rows are yours. The puzzle completely shifts here, and the jam risk moves to the inner loop.

  1. Pull the light pink and light blue Boxes. These were trapped right under the chain. The right Conveyor stream is loaded with these colors further up the track. Clear them out fast to prevent a total gridlock on the right side.
  2. Bleed the inner loop. Dark blue and purple beads are piling up fast in the center channel of the Conveyor. They have nowhere to go. Dock the dark blue Box located on the right side of the main cluster to relieve this pressure.
  3. Trigger the orange Booster. Now that the top layers are thinning, tap the orange directional Booster in the lower left. This clears out surrounding dotted Boxes, immediately giving you access to the restricted red and dark green ones below it.
  4. Dock the dotted Boxes. A dotted red Box and a dotted dark green Box act as hard blockers for the bottom rows. Dock them only when their colors physically appear at the Conveyor exit gate. Keep at least one Dock slot empty at all times.

The Final Four Sprint in Beads Out Level 642

You are down to the bottom rows. When only four Boxes remain, the board speeds up drastically.

  1. Clear the isolated corner boxes. The dark green Box tucked into the bottom left corner and the blue Box on the bottom right are finally accessible. Dock them as their corresponding beads drop from the remaining inner loops.
  2. Empty the remaining dotted Boxes. Purple and bright green dominate this final sequence. Pull them down.
  3. Burn the stragglers. The last few beads on the Conveyor will perfectly match whatever you have left in the Dock. Tap the last few boxes fast. Clear the board.
