Beads Out Level 86 Guide: Crate Locks and Key Traps
Beads Out Level 86 hits you with an immediate, massive roadblock. You load in and immediately see the problem. The left side of the board is completely locked down. You are staring at a front row consisting of two Red Boxes, one White Box, and one Dark Blue Box. Behind that front line, the real nightmare begins.
The left side features two Crate Locks. The second row has an Orange Box secured by an orange lock. The third row has a Grey Box secured by a light blue lock. You cannot touch these until you find the keys. Where are the keys? Buried on the right side of the board. A Brown Box in the second row holds the orange key. A Purple Box right below it holds the light blue key. This entire level is a sequential puzzle. If you tap the wrong color into your four-slot Dock, you will jam the board instantly. You have to carve a path down the right side to get the keys, all while managing a crowded, figure-eight Conveyor.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 86
Look at your starting layout. Every single move on this board matters. The front line is Red, Red, White, Dark Blue. You need to smash through this line to open up the middle rows.
The Conveyor is packed. The left track holds a long block of Dark Purple beads, followed by a massive chain of Red beads, a chunk of Orange, a sliver of Grey, and some Dark Green. The right track holds Light Pink, a huge segment of Dark Blue, Olive Green, Light Green, another small Dark Blue cluster, and White. Down at the bottom bridge of the Conveyor, right above your Dock, sit Dark Green and Tan beads. Do not touch them. This is a massive trap. The Dark Green Box is buried in the fifth row. The Tan Boxes are stuck in the fourth and fifth rows. Pulling Tan or Dark Green now will instantly kill your run.
The middle of the board is a mess of mixed colors. Row two holds the locked Orange, a Purple, a Light Blue, the keyed Brown, and a Light Green Box. Row three holds the locked Grey, another Light Green, a Magenta, the keyed Purple, and an Olive Green Box.
Look at the bottom rows. Rows four and five introduce linked brackets. You have an Orange Box bracketed to a Purple Box. Below that, a Tan Box is bracketed to a Light Pink Box. You have to treat these linked pairs as a single unit when clearing the endgame.
You need a strict order of operations. Break the right side. Get the keys. Unlock the left. Finish the brackets.
Beads Out Level 86 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact tap order. One mistake with the bottom track colors will fill your Dock and end the game.
Busting the Front Row Blockade in Beads Out Level 86
The opening phase is all about brute force on the front line. You need to clear the four starting Boxes to expose the keys.
- Tap the Dark Blue beads on the right side of the Conveyor. You have a Dark Blue Box sitting in the front right position. The right track is loaded with Dark Blue beads. Feed them in. This completely clears the right side of the front line and exposes the Brown Box holding your first key.
- Tap the White beads. The White Box is in the front row, center-right. The right side of the Conveyor has plenty of White. Clear it out.
- Drain the left side Red beads. You have two solid Red Boxes blocking the front left. The left Conveyor track has a massive, unbroken snake of Red. Tap it. Watch both Red Boxes fill and disappear.
- Keep your hands off the Dark Green and Tan beads at the bottom of the Conveyor. I cannot stress this enough. They are dead weight right now.
Hunting the Keys in Beads Out Level 86
With the front row gone, the board opens up. You can now see the Brown and Purple Boxes holding your escape routes.
- Attack the Brown Box first. It sits on the right side of row two. Feed it Brown beads from the Conveyor. Once the Brown Box clears, it gives you the orange key. The orange Crate Lock on the far-left Orange Box shatters.
- Hit the exposed Orange Box. Now that the lock is gone, tap the Orange beads waiting on the left side of the Conveyor. Clear it out.
- Target the Purple Box. It sits in row three, right under where the Brown one used to be. Fill it with Purple beads. This rewards you with the light blue key. The light blue Crate Lock on the far-left Grey Box breaks.
- Clear the exposed Grey Box. Tap the Grey beads from the left Conveyor track.
- Clear the Light Blue and Light Green Boxes in the middle rows. You now have the breathing room to sort the scattered middle colors. Keep your Dock flowing.
Defeating the Magnet Pairs in Beads Out Level 86
The middle is gone. You are now staring at the back two rows. This is where the linked brackets become a problem.
- Target the Dark Blue Box sitting on the left side of row four. You should have leftover Dark Blue beads on the Conveyor. Clear it to expose the back row.
- Hit the Orange and Purple bracket pair. They sit in the middle of row four. Because they are linked, you need both colors available on the Conveyor. Feed the remaining Purple beads from the top left track, and any remaining Orange beads.
- Attack the bottom row bracket pair. This is the Tan and Light Pink combination. Now is the time to finally tap those Tan beads that have been haunting the bottom of the Conveyor since the start of the level. Pull the Light Pink beads from the right track.
- Mop up the remaining singles. You will have a Dark Green Box, an Olive Green Box, and a leftover White Box in the final rows. The Conveyor will be moving faster now. Stay calm. Tap the Dark Green beads from the bottom track into the final left-side slot to clear the board.
