Beads Out Level 878 Guide: The Crate Lock Trap
Beads Out Level 878 is a masterclass in blocking. Look at the bottom left of the board. A massive stack of orange crates and a sealed block lock down the entire left side. The real threat is the orange key extending from that crate cluster. It reaches straight across the middle gap, completely shutting off the deep right trench.
You start with four empty slots in the upper Dock. Do not waste them. The top row forces you to deal with Brown, Grey, and Dark Blue Boxes immediately. The Conveyor loop is stacked heavily with Brown beads on the right and Grey on the left. Dark Blue beads sit directly at the bottom release point, flanked by Green and Pink. This is not a random layout. The game is baiting you into a jam if you grab the wrong colors early.
This board differs from easier levels because you cannot simply clear top-to-bottom. That Crate Lock dictates the entire mid-game. If you do not prioritize the boxes sitting directly above those orange '6' crates, you will run out of Dock space before you can open the lower board.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 878
The front row is your immediate obstacle: a Brown Box, a Grey Box, another Brown Box, and a Dark Blue Box on the far right.
Directly underneath them sits the second layer: Green, White, Red, and Dark Green. You cannot touch these yet. The third row holds a Red Box, a Pink Box, and a Light Blue Box positioned strangely on the right side.
The true puzzle lies in the bottom left block. Two orange numbered crates (both marked '6') sit side-by-side. Below them is another '6' crate and a white Sealed Cube marked '3'. The middle-right '6' crate has an orange lock arm extending horizontally. This arm blocks anything from dropping into the gap on the right. Below that locked gap, at the very bottom right of the trench, sits an isolated Dark Blue Box.
On the Conveyor, Dark Blue is ready at the bottom chute. A massive, continuous chain of Brown beads is sliding down the right track. A solid block of Grey beads is moving down the left. Red and White beads are mixed in higher up. They are pure bait. Touching Red or White too early will fill your Dock and instantly fail the level.
Beads Out Level 878 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Breaking the Front Row in Beads Out Level 878
Your opening sequence must be flawless. The Conveyor layout practically hands you the first three clears, provided you tap in the correct order.
- Tap the Dark Blue beads sitting right at the bottom center of the Conveyor. Send them into the top-right Dark Blue Box. This immediately clears the rightmost slot of the top layer.
- Watch the massive chain of Brown beads descending on the right track. Tap them next. Send them straight into the two Brown Boxes in the top row. Both will fill and clear back-to-back.
- The top left now holds a single Grey Box. Look at the left side of the Conveyor. A solid block of Grey beads is sliding down. Tap them to clear this final top-row obstacle.
- Stop tapping. Let the Conveyor shift. Do not touch the Red or White beads visible up top. You have just opened the second row.
Exposing the Crate Lock in Beads Out Level 878
With the front row gone, the board opens up. You now have access to Green, White, Red, and Dark Green Boxes. Your primary goal is to reach the orange '6' crates on the left. You must break them to retract that lock arm.
- Look at the bottom left of the Conveyor loop. Tap the Green beads. Send them into the Green Box sitting directly above the left side of the crate cluster.
- Feed the White beads into the second column. This exposes the Pink Box in the third row.
- Clear the Red Box in the third column. You are now digging directly down toward the orange '6' crates.
- Start clearing the boxes directly adjacent to the orange crates. As the Boxes around them vanish, the crates take damage. The numbers on the crates drop.
- Focus entirely on the middle column. Break that specific '6' crate holding the orange lock arm.
- Once that specific crate shatters, the arm retracts. The deep trench on the right side is now fully open.
Finishing the Sealed Cube in Beads Out Level 878
The board is now split. The right side is clear, revealing the isolated bottom Dark Blue Box. The left side still has a Sealed Cube '3' hiding a dark green layer underneath.
- Send a chain of Dark Blue beads down the right trench to clear that final isolated Box.
- Shift focus back to the bottom left. Clear the remaining Light Blue and Purple Boxes sitting above the cube.
- Hit the Sealed Cube '3'. Feed the required adjacent colors to crack the shell.
- The dark green base underneath the cube is exposed. Route the remaining Dark Green beads from the Conveyor into it.
- Clear the final isolated colors to trigger the Last Four speed-up and finish the board. Keep your Dock clear and let the final chains run.
