Beads Out Level 188 Guide: Crate Locks and the Red Curtain Trap
Beads Out Level 188 is a claustrophobic nightmare. You start with absolutely zero breathing room on the lower Dock. The right side of the board is completely walled off by two massive columns of orange numbered crates—four stamped with a 7, four stamped with a 9. The left side is choked by four Half Boxes chained together by two separate Crate Locks. To make matters worse, a giant red curtain blocking the bottom left corner demands ten full clears before it drops.
This board forces you to play completely one-sided. You cannot touch the right side. You cannot touch the middle zipped bags. You have to aggressively attack the Crate Locks on the left. The Conveyor layout makes this tricky. You have massive blocks of light blue, dark green, yellow, and red beads circling the track. If you pull the wrong color into your top four active slots, you immediately jam the level. There is no recovery. This specific layout punishes greedy taps.
Reading the Board in Beads Out Level 188
Look at the lower Dock right now. The play area is split into distinct blockade zones. Your four active empty slots sit at the top, waiting for boxes. Everything below that is a trap.
The right side features eight orange numbered crates. Ignore them completely. They require multiple Box clears to tick down, and you do not have the board space to fight them yet.
The middle lane contains four brown zipped bags. The top two are fully zipped. The bottom two are unzipped, revealing a dark blue Box and a bright green Box. You cannot reach these until the upper bags clear.
The left lane is where you must focus. At the very top, a light blue Half Box and a bright green Half Box are shackled by a Crate Lock. Immediately below them, a dark blue Half Box and an orange Half Box share a second Crate Lock. Below those sit two completely unchained light blue Half Boxes. Finally, anchoring the bottom left is the massive red curtain displaying a 10. Every single Box you fill and clear will reduce that number.
Now look at the Conveyor. The butterfly-shaped track is loaded with danger. The top left curve is packed with light blue. The top right is solid red. The long bottom stretch features alternating blocks of pink, light blue, bright green, and yellow. Light blue is your highest volume color. Yellow and red are pure bait. If you send red or yellow into your active slots early, you will starve for space and fail Beads Out 188 instantly.
Beads Out Level 188 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact sequence to break the left-side blockade. Do not deviate. Your active slots are too limited to survive a bad pull.
- Pull the first Crate Lock. Tap the chained light blue and bright green Half Boxes to move them into your active slots.
- Clear the light blue. Wait for the massive clump of light blue beads on the top left of the Conveyor to reach the drop point. Tap them in. This fills the light blue Half Box.
- Clear the bright green. Watch the bottom stretch of the Conveyor. Send the bright green beads into the active bright green Half Box. This shatters the first Crate Lock.
- Pull the loose light blue boxes. Immediately move the two loose light blue Half Boxes from the third row up into your active slots.
- Merge and clear. Feed them the remaining light blue beads on the Conveyor. They will merge and clear. You just bought yourself crucial active slot space.
- Attack the second lock. Pull the dark blue and orange Half Boxes (chained by the second Crate Lock) into the active row. Wait for their matching colors on the track. Clear them out.
Surviving the Zipped Bags in Beads Out Level 188
Your opening moves shatter the left-side locks. Now the board geometry shifts. The top two brown zipped bags in the middle lane will finally open up.
Do not panic when the Conveyor colors drastically change. The track will suddenly flood with purple, white, brown, and grey beads. White beads become extremely common, taking up massive chunks of the lower curve.
Pull the dark blue and bright green Boxes out of the lower unzipped bags. Fill them using the sparse blue and green beads left on the track. Clearing these middle Boxes achieves two things. First, it degrades the massive 7s and 9s on the right-side orange crates. Second, it ticks down the giant red curtain on the bottom left.
Stay away from the white and purple beads circling the track until you have a dedicated Box for them. White is the new bait. It looks plentiful, but pulling a white Box too early will jam your active row while you wait for brown or grey.
Cracking the Orange Crates in Beads Out Level 188
With the middle lane bags gone, the right-side wall finally crumbles. The numbered orange crates will break apart, revealing standard Boxes underneath. You will expose grey, purple, bright green, and red Boxes.
Shift your focus entirely to the right. Pull the purple Box up first. The Conveyor is holding a massive block of purple beads on the right curve. Tap it, fill the Box, and clear it. Next, pull the white Box and clear it using the massive white bead clusters on the bottom track.
Every single clear here is doing double duty. You are emptying the board, and you are aggressively counting down the red curtain on the left.
Dropping the Red Curtain in Beads Out Level 188
By the time you clear the purple and white Boxes, the giant red curtain will count down to 4.
The endgame here is all about managing the final stragglers. You will have a red Box stuck in the bottom right corner and a dark blue Box isolated on the left. Pull the red Box up. Feed it the red beads that have been uselessly circling the top right of the Conveyor since the start of the level.
Once the red Box clears, the curtain drops. This exposes the final hidden containers. Keep your active slots restricted. Only pull a Box if its matching color is literally dropping down the center chute of the Conveyor. Finish off the dark blue and the remaining grey Box to trigger the final speed-up and beat the board.
